Editing my review as I have played more and the dev has already updated some prior problems and is working on more

I am still playing through this, so my opinion may change. The game is indeed cute with a simple but enjoyable story line. There are many raccoons and other animals to enjoy. And the game is a lot bigger then I expected, lots of levels, unlockables, and hidden secrets. The music is pleasant and fitting, and I see no issues with graphics.

However, this game is not without faults.

Roxy Raccoon is a 3d platformer about collecting gems and gold stars from a variety of levels. The gems are like the music notes from Banjo Kazooie and gold stars are the jiggies. You get the stars by completing challenges like races, stealth missions, catching an evasive rabbit, or finding enough hidden objects.

This game is made by a solo dev and he’s very responsive to feedback so be sure to send him some love.

Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2

You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/H0tCFSIIXAo

This is an about 10 minute long, meditative experience through the Peruvian Andes Mountains. Where you basically teleport up a quick climb, see the scenic views, then sit at a campfire. There’s a narrator saying a prayer to the fire in English. You can also draw during this and then send your painting to the fire. That’s it basically.

Experience is running on the Unreal Engine. I was getting variable frame rates from 90 to frame rates in the 40s fps. The visuals were just okay and something that would be fine in a free to play experience. The ambient sounds were also just okay. While the narration was good and the musical score, that doesn’t exactly amount to a premium experience. There’s only teleport for the locomotion and the locomotion was not smooth (as it was difficult to turn in the direction you wanted).

Empowering meditative experience, highly recommended! Either if you are a an experienced or beginner meditator.

This 10-15min experience delves you into the visually-stunning site of Machu Pichu, where you follow a trail alongside a beautiful voice that guides you. The sun sets alongside the walk, creating delightful light effects. This visually rich experience guides you to release your fears and envision the life that you want.

Although some people may consider the experience short, the power of this piece stands on the intention you put on it. It is not about quantity of scenarios, it is about your sincerity when setting your intentions in front of the fire, to release what you don´t need and bring about the life that you envision.

This game has potential if it was developed upon, Took me a total of 1 hr and 16 mins to complete. Not bad.

I would recommend the game if you have a spare hour and honestly just looking for something to pass the time.

Some things i would add/change if i was the developer;

  • Pause screen (Instead of hitting ESC to pause instead closes the game)

  • Mute music only button, I think the sounds are good except the music. Found that annoying.

  • Make the “Level Complete” stand out more.

  • Allow level replayability.

Alice Escaped!

■ About

Alice Escaped is a 2D action and exploration game. Follow the advenctures of the two girls Usada and Kotora who wander into a strange world of grimoires, chasing after “Alice”.

What awaits them there are mysterious characters based off of Alice in Wonderland: the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and Humpty Dumpty – but are they really the enemy? And why does the White Rabbit guiding them have a zipper on his back?

Finally, who is the enigmatic girl hiding Alice in the deepest part of the world? Just why do they find themselves trapped inside, and– Oh, you’ll need to find out the rest for yourself!

■ Battle Action

The key to this game is the stylish tag team battle system! Swing Usada’s giant hammer to pulverize your enemies with powerful melee attacks, or use Kotora’s submachine gun and bombs to take enemies out from a distance. Switch between the two to chain impressive combos!

Taking out enemies builts up your Chance Gauge, which can be used to perform supporting attacks and devastating ultimate attacks. (feature not included in the demo)

The intensity builds in boss fights: whittle down their shield gauge to break their shields, letting you unleash a flurry of attacks. But beware – they’ve got a variety of powerful attacks to hit you back!

■ Characters

Usada & Kotora

Two friendly girls who have wandered into a mysterious world

White Rabbit

A strange rabbit with a zipper on his back who calls himself “Usamura-san”

Cheshire Cat

This cryptic feline appears before Usada and Kotora and enjoys testing his skills against them. Maybe he has another goal than just getting in their way…?

■ Story

One summer’s day, Usada and Kotora go to the library to do their homework. Kotora seriously gets to her studies, but Usagi has her head up in the clouds. She wanders over to a bookshed deep inside, and brings back a big, thick book.

“I found this interesting looking book!”

Kotora looks back at her quizzically. Suddenly, a slip of paper falls out from the book. The letter reads:

“Look for Alice.”

As soon as they read the words, the two are enveloped in a blinding light.

ASMR Journey - Animated Jigsaw Puzzle

ASMR Journey - Animated Jigsaw Puzzle

I don’t usually write reviews for games, but there’s so little written about this one that I feel it’s my duty.

TL;DR: The game has issues, but it’s totally worth the very small price.

Let’s start with the good:

I’ve played loads of puzzle games, and this one is particularly beautiful.

Parts of the pictures move, even when the puzzles are in pieces. It really adds something to a jigsaw puzzle game that takes it up a notch. For example, on the train puzzle, there is a foggy window where you can see the blurry landscape pass by.

Real player with 6.1 hrs in game

ASMR Journey is a very well-crafted and inspiring puzzle game, it is calm, immersive, has a good soundtrack and the graphics have a unique and discrepant trace of everything I have seen, it is calm in the exact and interesting point with the hostory that holds you as you play, I found it completely relaxing and well-crafted.

The only negative point found was the lack of more puzzles to complete, as I would like to play more and more, but in any case it already yields a calm and comforting experience.

Captain Sabertooth and the Magic Diamond

Captain Sabertooth and the Magic Diamond

Reminiscent of beloved side scroller games like Donkey Kong, Captain Sabertooth is truly a pleasure to play. The cutscenes were beautiful to watch, and some of the backgrounds were gorgeous. I especially loved scenes where you could see the pirate ship in the background, so detailed!

Controls were smooth and easy to navigate, the character actually had weight to it, making it easy to navigate jumps and tricky areas.

I especially enjoyed some of the functions like the map, where if I got lost I could steer my way back, and find where quests were.

got it for my nephew who'#s coming to stay soon. Last time he was here he enjoyed watching me play crash bandicoot but it was a bit much for him. Naturally gave it a whirl. Nice graphic flow and a it doesnt punish failure which is good for a tounger game. Cool thing to explore may have to “help” him as an excuse to have more time on it. Quality

Project Grove: Prologue

Project Grove: Prologue

If you’re a fan of atmospheric science-fantasy worlds and steampunk, you’ll be delighted about the optics of Project Grove! You play as 64 year old Edric Tate (cool to have an older protagonist for a change, btw) who explores a new region together with his little helper robot L-P1N. The two engage in playful banter, which is delivered a bit wooden at times, but entertaining in general.

The gameplay is fun, it consists mostly of walking around, exploring and platforming at this point. The progression of difficulty is good in the prologue, although the last few meters are a bit difficult, platforming-wise. You’ll also need patience to figure out some of the puzzles. But the game isn’t super hard, perfectly doable even for somebody who isn’t very familiar with this type of game.

PROJECT GROVE: PROLOGUE is an adventure puzzle game. Where you will go and explore the Forest of Dacrima as legendary alchemist Edric Tate along with your plucky robot companion L-P1N. The goal is to Brew potions allowing you to solve puzzles to help you in your search for a cure to STOP The Great Rot.

What I loved about this game is a few things

  1. The Graphics were nice, and the atmosphere felt somewhat alive with the whales and weird

jumping spiky balls.

  1. It had Keyboard and mouse as well as Controller options and the controls were smooth and easy to use which is awesome.
