Magicmaker
This game is what you get when you take the spell-making system from Oblivion, stick it into a 2d platformer and base the entire game around it. Back in Oblivion, making and testing spells was one of my most favorite things to do, and now I have an entire game dedicated to the concept. There are plenty of materials to work with, allowing for ridiculous amounts of customization and experimentation. Vampiric swords, explosive lasers, and swarms of homing missiles are just the beginning of your options.

We’ve all played RPG’s where you choose a class, and then put together the available abilities for that class in a way that suits you. But why not choose what those powers are in the first place? That’s what Magicmaker advertises and, good gracious, it delivers.
Want to play as a bootleg Naruto who throws suns at people? Or how about a slime wizard who opens portals that armies of slime allies fall out of? Boulder-throwing half-dragon? Time-warping cultist? Ghost queen who causes mass hystaria? You can do all of it and more in Magicmaker.

Valley Of The Moon
Hey, I downloaded this game because it seemed a little like the harvest moon games and I greatly enjoy those as well as fantasy games. However, there are a few bugs when you use your tools and when you enter the cave if it’s raining. If you go near the far wall sometimes it looks like it’s raining inside the cave. Also, it is not clear how you are supposed to kill the enemies in the cave to finish the beginning quest to get to the town as there is no weapon in your inventory or your tool belt. Could you please help me with this? I would really like to continue enjoying the gameplay and see where the story is supposed to lead. Thank you.

If you like walking slowly soul-crushingly long distances, tedious restrictions on how you can farm, and no tutorial. I still dont know where all my coins go, seeing as I’ve never bought a thing.

Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Neat little puzzle escape room experience. You’re basically a wizard and can reshape some items. That will be key to solving the puzzles. I think the game is worth $.99 cents. But if you don’t like VR puzzle / escape room experiences, then this little guy won’t change your mind about them. However, if you like puzzle rooms then this one is one of the best at this price range.
While you’re trying to solve puzzles, there’s a big eye overhead that keeps dropping down. You have to solve the puzzle(s) in time before time expires or you’re dead. You can only die a certain amount of times (I believe it is six, but I’m not sure) before you will have to restart the game. If you quit before finishing the game, the game does NOT save your progress and you will have to restart the game.

This is a moderately challenging puzzle game with straight forward controls. There is a certain amount of elegance in the simplicity, and it does require you to use your brain to beat it. Despite being quite short it is a great value, and I think this will be my go to game when showing friends VR.
Unfortunately I have an anime profile picture, so none of my opinions matter.

Grim Seventh
shame it didn’t work out, game is better than a lot of junk out there. shame you couldn’t have kept working on it. Good luck iun the future.

Grim Seventh I just heard went free to play. Having tried it now I have to say its a decent hack and slash, its nothing amazing or groundbreaking but gameplay is there and the art style is unique. Average free release but I like it enough to recommend it to anyone looking for a free indie hack and slash game.

This is without a doubt, the greatest game that has ever been, and possibly will ever be, made… Definitely buy it and then buy it for your friends. And also the developer is a g
EDIT
I’m calling out Filibert and his absolutely fucking trash review of this golden game that will be remembered for all eternity. Filibert is clearly salty that I hit em with that lit chain spell and flung him the fuck into a new dimension.

Go through the tutorial get your bindings sorted and be patient to be competitive there will be a learner curve for new players.
Props for the combat feel makes a nice change to alot of the other indie games out there where its just non existent.
Good Job

Sanguine Soul
People, how are you not playing this game?!
-
It’s free with NO micro transactions, it looks great, it plays great, it doesn’t baby you, and it’s FUN! I don’t do/like FPS games and I still think it’s awesome. (I did die a ton of times, as usual when I try to play FPS. T.T )
-
There are three stages, I got to the beginning of the second area before I had to left-button dash outta there (there was a massacre happening- mine) to tell you all about this little gem of a game …which is free.
-
So, what’s not to like? You must have a controller to play (seriously, you don’t own one already?) No cards or achievements, which means you would play it because you like to have fun? For free fun? Did I mention this game is free? Like a totally free good game? Just checking. :P

So May It Be: A Witch Dating Simulator
I love this game it is very cute! The art is nice, the music is relaxing and I really like the girls. Lucifer is adorable.
There are a few typos and grammar mistakes here and there but not enough to take away from my enjoyment of the game.
I also liked that it is a short game with an engaging story.

Although short in length, So May it Be’s unique art style and likable characters makes this fun size dating sim worth checking out. Just like your favorite over-sized sweater or warm fall drink, this game is a perfect match for a crisp autumn day.

The Button Witch
I was one of the Kickstarter backers, so I had high expectations from this game and I was not let down! For a game made by two people, it has a lot of to offer. There was some hiccups, as expected with new indies games, but the devs are very responsive and immensely helpful.
Exploring the manor is exciting and the characters you meet along the way are delightful. The puzzles can be challenging but none of them are impossible. I personally appreciated that some took more effort as it made figuring them more satisfying. (If you are less prideful, the Artbook/Guide is worth the pick up!) The dialogue had me audibly chuckling at few points. I enjoy that there are multiple endings as most of these point-and-click puzzle games are kind of a one and done thing. New Game+ even has different dialogue!

Absolutely recommend this game to everyone. Doubly so if you’re into witches/witchcraft/magic/etc and pixel games.
The music for the game is amazing, the art equally so. The character designs in general are to die for. I love the interactions you have with all of them.
The game has a really steller plot, I was invested the whole time. There are lots of puzzles so you’re always doing something. A few of them are really challenging, which can be frustrating in the moment but so so so rewarding when you finally get it.

The Lost Wizard
Polecam.

The Lost Wizard Review
Pros
◘ On starting, you are thrown striaght into the story.
◘ Long chunks of text allow the game to tell a great story, almost like a book
◘ Basic But Effective “Floating box ' controls” explaining basic movement to very new players and important keys for good players
Cons
◘ Mobs have a lot of health, takes too long to kill them, like cmon, it takes me a minute to kill one guy
◘ “Energy” (Health) is very low, can only take a few hits before dying and restarting the entire level, turns the game into a game were you duck then peek, shoot and repeat
