Enherjar Synergy
Well, I saw this game and I thought the neons looked cool, so I decided to give it a download. I really like shooters, even though I can’t say that I usually have high rankings in other multiplayer games, it’s always still alot of fun to hop into matchmaking with my friends when they want to play and this one caught my attention. What I like about Enherjar Synergy is that it seemed really easy to get started playing. They have bots that are pretty fun to train with and get to know the maps, and they also have a Student Aim Assist which really helped me get the hang of shooting with all the different guns in my first few matches. I never played other fps games that were so beginner friendly, like, I’ve played Apex and Overwatch and got slaughtered my first few matches, so I just stopped playing them right away. This one I feel like I can actually play with others at my skill level, which is awesome because I really love multiplayer shooters and it’s nice to be able to play one where I feel like I can do alot of damage to nubs hahaha

This game is INCREDIBLY hard to look at. It is by far the ugliest game I have ever played. The environments are built with just WAY over the top Neon and Boom. Your enemies are just beams of light by the looks of it and to top it off, there’s an UGLY as hell dirty visor screen filter thing going on and it’s horrendous. I streamed my first-time experience with this and I couldn’t finish a game because it’s just so difficult to just look at despite several attempts. I have no idea whether the map designs are good, or if anything else is good because the visual aesthetic is not it chief.

Demon heart

Left-Hand Path
I’ve been using VR for over two years, and this is my favorite VR game so far. I love the gestural magic system, where you have to learn specific hand movements to cast particular spells–this gives me much more of a sense of immersion and embodiment. I appreciate that the game has a “Low-Terror” mode, as horror games are often too scary for me in VR, and this tones it down just enough. The “Arachnophobe” mode is particularly awesome, as the game would otherwise be unplayable for me in a certain very spidery section. With Arachnophobe mode on the spiders are replaced with a different type of creepy monster that (mostly) does not activate my arachnophobia.

If you like tense, thrilling escapism in a Lovecraftian horror-esque atmosphere, this is your bread and butter.
The Experience:
Rather than focusing on jumpscares, LHP utilizes ambiance, sound and creepy locales to build tension, with the story slowly unraveling as you find notes, books and characters in-game.
With only a dim arcane light to illuminate your surroundings, you find yourself peering around corners and keeping something solid at your back as you strain to spot shuffling movement or glowing eyes in the darkness beyond the comfort of your small pool of light. Later in the game, you upgrade your arcane light spell and much of the tension is relieved with knowing where your enemies lie. The Dev cleverly circumvents this and brings the tension roaring back in a crescendo with truly terrifying creatures visible only out of the corner of your eye.

Unferat
An amazing game, the village feels alive and everyone does there own thing. the magic system is complex and a little tough to master making you feel like your not just saying words, your saying arcane spells that are easy to mess or screw up. you are not a combat mage. you are a summoner, necromancer, alchemist, warlock. the entire strategy of the game is planning. knowing how and when to strike. do you gather an army of the dead and storm the town, slowly pick them off with poisons, make the forest and roads impassable with evil trees so they slowly starve. or make a portal to hell that there own deaths will fuel. its a wonderful game that allows for a bunch of different play styles. i am waiting for more from this wonderful dev

Brume
I’m completely smitten by this little piece of gaming art that was put on my radar by Rock, Paper, Shotgun. It’s Dark Souls dissolved to an extremely slim form. An intense, bite-sized soulslike dance of simple, obscure, but effective mechanics, jazzy visuals, stylish cinematics, moody sounds, weird camera angles and stiff legs. It deserves to be played by every Dark Souls fan and every Dark Souls fan owes it to themselves to play this. Scratch that, everyone should play this just for the vision Sokpop brings to the medium of video games. Have I mentioned I’m totally smitten by this little game?
– Real player with 11.9 hrs in game
The premise of Brume is as simple as it is unexplained. You control a nameless character in a new and strange land, Why are you here? Who knows. Venture forth. There is no dialogue in the game, but that only builds the atmosphere.
As the game begins, the first thing that struck me was the askew angles used in the cut-scenes to build an unsettling atmosphere. It creates a vague feeling of discomfort and unease; of something just not being right. The muted colour scheme, low poly-count and soft soundscape create a beautiful little world to get lost in for an hour or two.

Dreadful Shadows
Looks super promising, cant wait to see where it will end up!!

The Victorian style really caught my eye the monsters seem decent and the game play looks compelling, its really nice to see so many indie game devs these days breathing fresh air in an otherwise stale market, keep up the good work
