Crown Land
What if medieval Europe and precolonial America were swapped? Crown Land is an epic fantasy visual novel set on an alternate Earth. Meet kings in Texas, lords in California, knights in New York, Cherokees in France, and many more! Crown Land features a cast of over THIRTY fully drawn characters, medieval twists on locations from all over North America (Texas, California, New York, Canada, and more), and a dark, gripping plotline. Wishlist Crown Land now!
Hunt down the horrendous Horned Face and avenge the death of his betrothed. That was the mission, and obsession, that Ethan Primrose had walked away from. Now, he lives his life peacefully and rules the State of California as the heir of both House Primrose and the Western region of the Fifty States. There he lives with his guilt-ridden squire, Olivia, and his wide-eyed sister, Novah. But everything changes when an old friend, one also with an insatiable obsession for finding the Horned Face, vanishes under mysterious circumstances.
To the north of the Fifty States, Premier Nyanna of the Province of Ontario has tried her best to keep the Republic out of a war with its southern neighbor. But when she learns about her brother’s unnatural circumstances, she commits herself to find the truth about her brother. Just as determined as she are her remaining brothers Sawyer and Hayes Maple— the first an arch-priest pushing for controversial reformations, the second the new and unprepared heir of House Maple.
Although separated by thousands of miles and vast landscapes, the actions of each character are concretely and profoundly felt by each and everyone else. With the entire Continent tenaciously teetering on the edge of a full-scale war, each character must understand that their actions and desires impact not just themselves, but the fate of the entire Continent.
Crown Land features a massive cast of over THIRTY drawn, original characters. The following is merely a small sample of them all.

Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen
“I grow old … I grow old …
I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.”
~T.S. Eliot
I really wonder why they keep re-releasing this game… I mean, OK, PC port makes perfect sense. I’m all in for video game preservation and there’s no better way to save the certain title from being lost in history than releasing it for personal computers. Every single game should be playable on PCs. Just because PCs are the only platform that stays with us no matter what. But seriously, since the very first voiced (and censored) port of this game was released in 2006 (the initial uncensored Windows version came out in 2002), Utawarerumono was released for six different platforms. Six… different… platforms, Carl! It also got both manga and anime adaptations. So, here’s my question again – how in the freakin' world did this game get so much attention? And the answer is… I honestly don’t know.

TL;DR: Fun game, would recommend, I will get the sequels. Surprisingly fun game play and an enjoyable story, though not as great a story as the reviews I’ve read here make it out to be.
Long Version:
First, the story, since that is the meat of the game, and also what people rave about. The game is very much a visual novel with tactical combat elements included, rather than being the other way around. The story is engaging, there are enough hooks to keep you interested even during the slower areas, things hinting to the player that a larger game is afoot and your (forgotten) past is almost certainly important to these at first seemingly unrelated events. (The primary character has amnesia, partially for story, partially to let you ask world building questions that any normal in-universe person would know, but that we the player are obviously clueless about.) I will say that for the most part I really enjoyed the story, there were a surprising number of moments that really got to me, where I was right there with characters, feeling their moments of happiness or pain, victory or defeat, anger and sorrow. It is for these reasons and the general story arc itself, which kept my interest, that I will pick up and play the next two games in the near future.

Icebound
Not a bad game, not a great game but pretty good compared to most steam VN in my opinion.
Plenty of choices in the game and different endings..tho a lack of romance options i am happy
that there atleast was one in the game. The puzzle game is not to hard and not to easy, perfect for
me.

Alchemy is more than just a handy skill in the world of Permia. Alchemists are both admired and feared and have the ability to sort out problems and fix what was once broken. With a strong emphasis on character development and world-building, the simple task of discovering a monster that’s been terrorizing a town becomes all the more intricate. It has beautiful art direction, fitting music, and an alchemy mini-game that is placed at just the right parts of the game to leave me refreshed. I couldn’t get enough of Icebound, by Fastermind Games.

Esper - Make You Live Again is a kinetic Visual Novel published by Stoigames early this year, but the development has started back in 2015, and it’s clearly a work of passion.
Espers are people with special abilities, capable of establishing emotional links with individuals on the edge of rapture. Those feeling depressed, suicidal or in a tremendous sadness turmoil, if lucky, can be approached by an Esper, which will do everything to help. This order is well established among society, with schools that train and develop Espers, from a very early age. All of this running in the underground of the world as we known it.
