SPL: Skilled Pilots Live
This game is some straight forward honest arcade shooting fun with some nice features thrown in to keep it interesting; weapon choices , ship enhancements, crafting, loot (new), allied wingmen (new) and a ring flying game. I get my my fix of it in an 30 mins to an hour a play which is perfect for me as time is hard to come by for me . I found the game to have medium/hard difficulty, but the difficulty scales based on how you play the game and you are rewarded with a higher score and rewards etc. Too easy then go for the 100%+ encounters too hard stay around 50% and grind a bit until you get better gear. The bosses tend to be the hardest part, but all good boss battles are :) I think of it as if R type had a 3d baby with Doom, and Souls :) In its state now I would rate it above average ,but with the potential to be a great game with more guidance from the community and hard work from the developer.

A little rough around the edges, and a bit light handed on the tutorial however this game grows on you very quickly.
The combat is different from most 4x style games there is a lot of control over the ship. There are a few things I have noticed that I am sure will be fixed my biggest problem is when enemy ships are close together your ship does not seem to know who to lock onto. ( but there is a weapon type that does take care of this. ) My biggest issue with the game would be even thou it controls very nice an fluid there is a lack of feeling. (( what i mean by a lack of feeling is that it feels like your not moving. If it was not for the wave like field that is around your ship when moving i would think i was sitting still. )) All in All I would rate this game a solid 7 out of 10. An with that bottom line is the game is FUN, FLUID,EASY TO LEARN.

EVERSPACE™ 2
This is of course a review of the Early Access version, so some of the cons I find with the game, might disappear with the final version.
*If you like Space Simulators, this is a game for you.
THE GOOD
• Lots of fun, although, (and this is probably related to it being early access) things get repetitive very fast.
• Controls are fine, you get the hang of everything rather quickly.
• For those of us who enjoyed games like Tie Fighter, Descent and FREESPACE, this is our type of game.

It has been 18 years since Microsoft released the game Freelancer. In that time, no other game/developer has succeeded in capturing what made that game great, and brought us a game like it. You can find many space games that have failed to bring us that genre properly. Many times people saying things like “Closest thing to Freelancer, best since Freelancer.” However, it’s always known that they aren’t actually that close, or nearly as good. This game however, is hitting ALL the right check boxes for being a PROPER Freelancer successor.

Fractured Atmosphere
In Fractured Atmosphere you take control of a salvage team looking to pick any scraps you can find in a cold desolate universe. Traverse zero gravity environments and sift through wreckages to find valuables while avoiding environmental hazards and ever pursuing drones. With a strong focus on immersive environments Fractured Atmosphere aims to deliver a VR experience like no other.
Environmental Storytelling
Navigate wreckages in zero gravity, with VR allowing you to be fully immersed in this eerie environment. Scour abandoned computer systems for information and learn about the people that once flew these now decrepit spaceships. Each ship you explore will help to paint a picture of this universe and the struggles involved for the people who live here.
Hazards
Environmental hazards make traversal a constant challenge that require puzzle solving and situational awareness. Time is of the essence as automated drones will seek you out and try to put an end to your illegal salvage missions. Manage oxygen levels and get back to your shuttle in time to make your escape, because death for your scavengers is permanent. Don’t worry though, there will always be another grunt ready to test their ability.
Progression
While back at your spaceship you’ll manage your crew and augment them with perks and gear. Daily challenges encourage you to keep taking risks, pushing you to level up your crew and grow stronger. Over time you’ll acquire a large arsenal of weapons and perks suited to your playstyle.

AlterVerse: Disruption
I have spent a little bit of time in this game and the ENJ space for the last 5 months. This game is beautiful and as time goes on. The updates and added game play keeps getting better and does not disappoint. This game has a unique feel and flow while playing 1st in the shooter modes. Added with all the other nice touches of hang out areas around the ship, ability to get various types of food for health, fly space vehicle, VR etc…. You could keep going. Definitely worth the time to check out and cant wait for the added worlds to come.

Great game with amazing technology being used behind the scenes to give players REAL ownership of their items and ships.
Is already a quality game made by a dedicated team which has so much more potential to deliver on, excited to see what Alterverse will look like in another year or so.

Space Abyss
Space Abyss is simple right now, but it still shows a lot of potential for more to be added in the future! I like the idea of it; cruising around, collecting minerals, destroying cube planet systems with increasing power and finding other minerals that can be used to empower what you’ve collected.
The graphics are impressive, there is an amazing balance between Gameplay and Visuals, I’ve only seen one type of enemy so far, and am curious if newer types of challenging opponents will be implemented, as well as probable expansion of the pre-existing arsenal.

The game needs some kind of tutorial to explain the mechanics, but there’s potential!

Starpoint Gemini 3
Starpoint Gemini 3 Review
Release Version 5th Nov 2020
Starpoint Gemini 3, 4th title from LGM Dev Team. This time around LGM went with a different view on the Gemini Star System, So lets get into the nitty gritty of it all.
SPG 3 puts you in the shoes of Captain Bold, a brash upstart pilot of a starship who has his AI sidekick ADAH which both are at logger heads over things quite often. This to me adds some charm into the cockpit as I could see my future self in a similar situation as I went to do the dumb things and the AI constantly reminding me of how stupid it is going to be.

I don’t often write reviews, as I don’t often get around to games until looooong after they’re released, but I gave this a day one try and… now I remember why I wait so long to play games after they’re released.
With this being the third game in a franchise I’ve come to enjoy, I had high expectations. And I was left sorely disappointed. While the graphics are okay, and the ship fighting is decent, that’s about where my enjoyment ended. Here are some of my highlights that I hope the devs can take to heart:

Power of Ten - Demo
An amazing game, you wouldn’t be able to tell that it was a demo! A handful of different ships you gradually discover through the game, an wide array of weapons/abilities/traits to select from. Beautiful pixelated action with diverse enemy encounters and battle settings. A promising show for the to-be-released version, definitely put this on your wishlist.

A great top-down space action game. Fly your space ship, dodge shots, and blow up baddies. It’s not a bullet hell game - it’s a race to mine for resources, achieve objectives, and put out fires as baddies attack inhabited planets. I’m a veteran of such games and found this one a fun challenge.
