Riskers
It does a great job of mixing modern top down action with the beloved GTA athstetic. I got it for 3$CND and it was completely worth the purchase. The ‘levels’ where you assault building interiors are well designed and enjoyable to fight through, the shooting mechanic feels great and is much tighter than the original GTA, london missions or GTA 2.
On the down side the driving/car systems feel a bit stripped down, including the cops and the city itself. While the game has side missions and a city to drive around in with a few things to find overall the game feels more linear than it’s inspiration and the map is lacking unique set peices and details (no jumpable bridges, trains, car vendors on the docks ect.) It’s not really fair to compare this to a game as influectial as GTA but they kind of force us to and sadly in every way but the gunplay it’s missing so many of the tiny nuances & details that made GTA a classic so keep that in mind if you are fans of the original games scope, you won’t find the same living city or sandbox options in this game.

Fallen Guns
Fallen Guns is top down shooter focused on combat strategy. The passage of time will be slow when Alex (the protagonist) is stationary and will return to normal when he moves again. This dynamic will force the player to look for perfect shots and correct timings when eliminating enemies. This makes eliminating a large swarm of enemies very satisfying and rewarding.

Flashing Lights - Police, Firefighting, Emergency Services Simulator
I’m sorry, I really want to like this game, but if I gave it a thumbs-up, it would be for the concept and not the implementation and that’s not fair to people who are considering whether or not to purchase it.
To the dev(s): I like where you’re coming from and where you’re going with this. I hope you keep persevering and turn my opinion around. There’s an ENORMOUS amount of potential here. However, it’s plagued by issues (not just pre-release bugs) that make me question whether it has what it takes to pull off a successful release.

I wanted to review FL sooner, but I also wanted to feel this game out first. I’m a simulation “expert” in that I’ve played almost every simulator game that has come out. There were some I purposely ignored for looking terrible, however. The emergency simulation genre has been struggling for a while. You have sh*tty developers and publishers pushing out games that make you want to burn the game itself so no one else ever has to experience it. Speaking of burn, I’ve been burned by these devs and publishers a lot - specifically Excalibur. They are notorious for backing garbage games. I used to be a moderator for Enforcer and had high hopes for it. Boyyyyyyyy was everyone, myself included, mislead.

PAYDAY 2
Payday 2 is one of the best games I’ve ever played. If the idea of sneaking through a heist and cleaning the place out without anyone knowing you were there appeals to you, then you will likely enjoy this game. If the idea of mercilessly slaughtering any guard or cop that stands between you and your payday, with anything from a comically large spoon to the unrelenting force of a minigun appeals to you, then you will likely enjoy this game. There are a great selection of heists, with often multiple methods to complete the various objectives. This game isn’t just a co-op game and can be just as fun playing solo. For how cheap this game is, I would definitely recommend trying it.

New players may find the different “profiles” and “skill sets,” two different menus to mix-and-match, to be a tad confusing. Otherwise, it is simply a fun game that can get addictive. Game-play aspects can be simple enough to understand, aim and shoot cops while stealing money, while creating builds, and understanding the less-intuitive mechanics like “dodge,” help to also make the game complex. With the continued support by the developers, and funny vr heisters waving their arms everywhere, this game is worth getting.

Police Simulator: Patrol Officers
It may be a bit buggy here and there, But it’s seriously impressive for a small studio in early access. It is also really fun to role play about. Here is a bit of unexpected fun from today … I delayed shooting a taser on a fleeing suspect only to have a random drunk driver swerve towards us and take him out causing a three car pileup that I had to investigate and clear up while being indirectly the cause of the crash. Do I take the suspect into custody or call him an ambulance? choices, am I right?

Pros
It’s a great Sim with great potential, I’m sure it’s going to be one of the best police sims on steam when leaves the early access, I have to say they have a great taste in designing the city, districts vary from each other and have different scenery. It reminds me of my favorite city Boston! Traffic missions are enjoyable and their variety keeps you busy and satisfied during your shift. The graphic is really great in this game, you going to take too many screenshots while playing. Parks are very green along with eye-catching sculptures and decorations throughout the city. Different Police stations that you could spawn from or finish your report when done. Nice Game setting and support of the controller and other languages. It has an Informative manual and tutorials to guide you. You could report the bugs and suggest your ideas there are warm and attentive developers valuing your time and request.

The Smugglers
You will smuggle goods or protect the law. Assemble a team and take on the role of a cunning smuggler or an honest law enforcement officer once per turn. Compete against an opposing team on one of many boards. Just like in real life, each team has different victory conditions, completely opposite, making you quickly identify with your new role. Will you tactically pursue victory or will you pull out the gun and settle the matter in a rather violent manner? Remember that the decision belongs to the whole group, and you won’t be able to win alone.
Each playthrough begins with smugglers landing in a cargo drop zone, and the law guards are tasked with melting down and stopping the smugglers from making their final escape. Cover your tracks and defend your loot or try to track down and stop the smugglers from escaping. Think your side will always win? Remember that in every gang there will be at least one agent who will certainly mess up the whole game…
Combatant
In Combatant you will live a story with lots of bullets and destruction, controlling Alfie. You can play in first person or third person, and you’ll have several weapons to help you in the main objective, besides, of course, a special ability that can be used by the protagonist. All this with a lot of action, which when combined with strategy, makes everything perfect.
Jordan, owner of a technology company, has his company information stolen by a Russian competitor, which he is using to blackmail and remove Jordan’s company from the segment. Tired of being pressured, Jordan hires Alfie, a sharpshooter, to recover the stolen information. So Alfie will have to break into a Russian company base and erase information on some computers, in addition to destroying the main server. Alfie will have at his disposal an arsenal of strong weapons for violent combat, but he will be able to go with strategy, counting on silent weapons. In addition, Alfie has a special power that can be used to reposition himself in combat.
In Combatant you’ll control Alfie and you’ll have to fulfill some tasks to achieve your goal. All this with a lot of action and strategy.
