Cubism
I’m biased as I have followed this game for three years now, and I did get it for free as I’ve done testing of it. That said, it does compel me on many levels, hear me out.

- Virtual reality, that is my hobby nowadays and the way I prefer to play my games.* Puzzles, when in VR focusing on a puzzle transports me completely, even in abstract environments.* Physical interactions, you grab things, move them around, and can throw them away!* Room-scale, no need for artificial locomotion, you are simply in the space.

A enjoyable VR puzzle game that has you slapping blocks together like your back in kindergarten. I’ve thrown 7 hours into this game so far and I have to say it was a really enjoyable experience.
The game is definitely worth the ten dollars, and the difficulty curve will keep you on your toes especially in the later levels of the game.
10/10 from me.

A Wake Inn
Very good exploration puzzle horror game…
Graphics are excellent, audio sfx are on point, performance takes a dip some times, but its not constant or overtly annoying (i have a 1080).
The ambience on this game is really well done, you feel the tension in every room and part of the building.
Story flows at a good pace, and while it was a bit confusing at first i got the gist of it and understood what what happening.
The inventory system is really cool, like no holsters or menus, you grab stuff and place it in your carry on, it has a few mechanics that make you think “hey thats pretty clever use of vr”.

This is one of the most atmospheric and immersive games I’ve played in VR. The environments are beautiful, eerie, and richly detailed. The ambient sounds are entrancing. The hotel feels expansive but the environments gently guide you in the right direction as you progress. The level of horror has been just right for me so far. It’s slow and creepy but punctuated by moments of intense action and unsettling discoveries.
As other reviewers have mentioned, your experience with this game might be spoiled by the awkwardness of the controls or by motion sickness. My will to progress in this game has often been at odds with my stomach. I settled upon using the joystick mounted on the wheelchair for movement in the game. I found this method to be immersive while allowing me to play short sessions with minimal discomfort. The comfort settings are helpful, but I would prefer that the game include an option for reduced FOV for all movement, not just turning.

RISING BONEvR
The game focuses on physical interaction with the world, and how dynamic everything in it. Most of the tasks can be solved in different ways. E.g: to pass the closed door, you can find a key, or destroy the padlock, or break the window nearby, or find the underpass
Each circle of hell is a level where you need to climb as high as possible at any cost. Haron will take you to next level. If desired, you can find funny or creepy secrets, part of story, or collectible items

CHV: VR Trunk Escape
- it starts?
-so crappy it’s unplayable
-horrible controls
-buggy
1/5
Stay away from this it’s not even close to being worth $3. Even at free I probably wouldn’t touch it. It’s so bad it’s unplayable.

Played on Valve Index, Ryzen 3700X, RTX 2070 Super
Everything seemed to work for me, I was able to complete the 3 objectives (stop the engine, start the hazard lights, and escape the trunk). I’m not entirely sure the point of the canbus device other than it may have made the escape the trunk part quicker but I just puzzled through it.
The controls are finicky. The sensitivity seems pretty high so movement feels like playing quake but slightly faster. The turn action by default is set to the left portion of the touch pad which doesn’t work very well on the small index pad. Grab actions seemed to register well expect for pushing your character away if you reached too far into a virtual object/wall.

Escape Room VR: Stories
I haven’t played this game a lot, only tried out 2 rooms so far, mainly garage though.
I liked the idea, but I fetl that it was weird, that there was many obsolete items that looked interesting, such as suitcases or tinder-boxes, but they had 0 use, and also had unusually low quality.
the puzzles seemed like a good idea, but the climbing for example was a bit wonky, was odd to maneuver, and really juggled my head while swinging, I do like the watch and the time pressure though.
GOOD THINGS:
- Puzzles were interesting

I would say this is one of the best VR escape room games out there. There are three different environments with different stories, the graphics are nice, and the game just seems overall polished. The puzzle difficulties are just right; they can be difficult, but the clues are there if you look. It made great use of VR, with the interactable objects and the climbing wall at the frat pad for example. One thing I think would make it better would be the option for free locomotion. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a good VR escape room.

Color Connect
This was a happy surprise! Bought it on a whim, and I absolutely loved it!
The game itself is a puzzle game, where you connect nodes by filling in lines, and connect colors. Cross every node and connect all colors and you clear the level! Easy to grasp, but has more depth than it first lets on.
Why I enjoyed it
[olist]
- A key factor, the puzzles can be logically reasoned out, pretty much all through-out the game, very satisfying and still reasonable challenging towards the end.* Due to the above, It was very rare that I actually had to restart a level, usually you can work with what you have done so far and keep going until you make it! 👍

Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/drTHyU5hO3Q
Color Connect is a very simple, relaxing puzzle game. You basically move the different colored lines from point A to point B, without intersecting with another color, but also you have to touch every single node in the 3D puzzle. There are over 50 puzzles, which generally start very easy but eventually get quite challenging, requiring good 3D spatial thinking skills (or lots of trial and error).

Experience the Energy: Take the Challenge
Experience the Energy: Take the Challenge is a free VR game funded by the Canada Oil industry. It worked on my system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has a series of mini-games that sort of test you for ten jobs in the oil industry. Some of the games have short timers, so makes them hard to win.
Try this game, if you are interesting in Oil industry.

Well produced I suppose. Actually, it’s very well done. I played a little bit of the GO version first. I don’t know if they feature parity of experiences. I played a fair amount (but maybe not all) of the experiences on PC until I got bored, which wasn’t very long. Alot of these games didn’t really have much to do with oil and gas, but I think maybe because of the category I selected. My favorite game was the first one I played, whereby you get to evaulate employees and they come into work and send them home or let them go to work.
! That’s my dream job. https://youtu.be/uZwxzIn6pg0

Plumber
This is fun for a time. I HATE the time limit. I much prefer to approach puzzles in a logical way, and this game lends itself to a slow and methodical approach rather than a scramble.
Also, the torch and dark levels add nothing but jank (now we have to work with one hand whilst holding a torch in the other).
Also, the bugs (worst part) led me to lose my trust in some of the levels having a solution, as there are levels that are obviously impossible becasue of programming faults.
Also, the spelling mistakes….

This is a fun little 3D puzzle game that challenges your spatial visualization abilities with the classic “connect the pipes to make the water flow” concept.
I’m playing standing up and walking around to pick up and place the pipes, which needs a large enough play space, I have not played it sitting down.
I’ve completed 65 Tasks so far. One was unsolvable due to a bug (one pipe won’t connect to other pipes), and two have a part spawning in a way that activates the water valve, but if you catch it fast enough when the levels start, you can solve them.
