Decide 4 God

Decide 4 God

Decide 4 God is the final entry of the Abime Series.

One hour.

The woman and her team of investigators had one hour to infiltrate a prison and cause a breakout. Her dearest hope was that, among the prisoners, there would be her brother who disappeared nearly twenty years ago.

She couldn’t shake the feeling that something sinister was waiting for her team.

One hour.

The man had been up for one hour, contemplating his past. Everything changed when breakfast was delivered and a box with clothing was slid through the opening in the door. He was told to put it on if he wanted to escape.

Something felt wrong but the prisoner obeyed. Someone was breaking him out… but why?

It is for the future when none may tread.

Key features:

  • The final chapter in the Abime Series. Decide 4 God contains the entire truth behind the events of both Head AS Code and Birth ME Code. Familiar faces return and new faces emerge to complete the unfortunate cast suffering through over a dozen endings due to the misdeeds of Empathy Systems.

  • Two sides of the story. You will be able to follow multiple characters as they live out their terrible tale. Side A and Side B have wildly different events making up opposite parts of a whole story.

  • Interactions are your choices. The companions you choose to explore with determine what you find, and what you find determines your fate. You can examine rooms alone or with others, and their involvement will change how the story unfolds.

  • Knowledge is a powerful curse. Everything you learn in your trip through Complex Twelve becomes a permanent part of your journey. The data transfers across playthroughs, but autosave means your information retention is permanent. Be careful of what you learn, as some of it may not be good for you…

  • A linear yet malleable flowchart. The game’s flowchart sorts your available paths and allows you to combine them in various ways to achieve new endings. Can you find your way out of this labyrinth of information and reach a Permanent Ending?

Note: Only 16:9 resolution ratio is fully supported.

Escape from DuFo

Escape from DuFo

Good short game. It only took about 10 minutes to complete but I enjoyed it quite a bit and wished it was a full game. It looked good and ran great plus the puzzles were pretty decent. Overall for less than a $1 on sale I would recommend checking it out. If you want to see some game play you can check out my play through below.

My Father My Son

My Father My Son

Only cooperation can save them

Together with two lost castaways, a father, and son, experience a thrilling journey through a dark, uninhabited island that isn’t on the map. Overcome a path full of logic puzzles and hidden dangers and help the family get closer to each other. Escape from this mysterious place and discover together with the characters what’s hidden here.

Control two characters alone or in co-op (1 player - 1 character), using either a pad or the keyboard. You can change the control method at any time. Move along 2 paths, changing them freely as needed. Take wise advantage of the differences between the father (strong and high) and the son (small and agile), which will make it easier for the characters to work together on co-op puzzles.

MAIN FEATURES OF THE GAME:

  • Play alone, controlling two characters or in co-op (local on one screen or online)

  • Choose any method to control both characters: using pads or the keyboard

  • Solve environmental puzzles based on the co-operation of two characters with different abilities: a father and son

  • Fight for survival in thrilling arcade sequences

  • Two characters and two tracks that you can change at any time

  • Low-poly 2.5D side view game

  • An engaging story about a father’s relationship with his son in a thriller atmosphere

Nothing To Remember

Nothing To Remember

First off, don’t look at the hours on record, I may have left the game open between streams. Overall a decent visual novelish game. The main story events were good, the relationships were mediocre and made me wish I could ban Dick’s number so I could skip that part of the story. There is a critical choice later in the game that isn’t worded correctly and should be fixed, they either meant to add “don’t” at the beginning of the sentence or were was meant to be “weren’t” which I assumed and made that my choice.

Plot is very well written and character development is exquisite. More of a visual novel with major choices. It took me about 20 hours for an ending.

A Wake Inn

A Wake Inn

Very good exploration puzzle horror game…

Graphics are excellent, audio sfx are on point, performance takes a dip some times, but its not constant or overtly annoying (i have a 1080).

The ambience on this game is really well done, you feel the tension in every room and part of the building.

Story flows at a good pace, and while it was a bit confusing at first i got the gist of it and understood what what happening.

The inventory system is really cool, like no holsters or menus, you grab stuff and place it in your carry on, it has a few mechanics that make you think “hey thats pretty clever use of vr”.

This is one of the most atmospheric and immersive games I’ve played in VR. The environments are beautiful, eerie, and richly detailed. The ambient sounds are entrancing. The hotel feels expansive but the environments gently guide you in the right direction as you progress. The level of horror has been just right for me so far. It’s slow and creepy but punctuated by moments of intense action and unsettling discoveries.

As other reviewers have mentioned, your experience with this game might be spoiled by the awkwardness of the controls or by motion sickness. My will to progress in this game has often been at odds with my stomach. I settled upon using the joystick mounted on the wheelchair for movement in the game. I found this method to be immersive while allowing me to play short sessions with minimal discomfort. The comfort settings are helpful, but I would prefer that the game include an option for reduced FOV for all movement, not just turning.

Cartonfall

I really liked this game…. For the record though it is a bit of a horror game there is a sequel called cartonfall warehouse madness. So I would not recommend for the faint heart but if you like building with cartons and trying to pass the levels then I recommend playing. It’s awesome!

I have found a hidden gem. If you like Portal or any puzzle game like it, you’ll like this one.

The Game Itself?

Pretty good. Rarely did I find any glitches or bugs.

Difficulty is pretty good, though the game does get BLOODY hard in some puzzles (I’m looking at you, Battlefield)

Well-designed puzzles that are interesting, unique, and just downright fun (Pinball machine, sneaking mission, etc…)

Puzzles actually require thinking and effort to finish, which is nice to see.

The puzzles and gameplay are pretty good, I’d say!
