Hunt: The Unknown Quarry
I’m thoroughly enjoying this game. It’s a great alternative to Cluedo, but slightly more challenging and in-depth, in my opinion. It may take a few games to get to grips with the mechanics, cards and options available, but it won’t be long before you find yourself either being targeted/preyed upon or interrogating/attacking other players. It’s a dog-eat-dog type of survival game, where everyone’s out for themselves including the monster. The theme and daunting background music enhance the game, making you feel slightly uneasy (like prey), not knowing for sure who, what or where the monster is, unless they reveal themselves. Also, playing as the monster is an additional challenge, which requires an alternative strategic approach. You’ll soon find you can’t just go around munching on fellow opponents in broad daylight, but have to maintain a far more stealthy disposition. I felt the game was fairly balanced well, particularly if playing the monster against AI opponents (for mediocre players). However, I haven’t had the chance to properly play any friends online yet, so can’t say if this will be the case against live players, who I think will be a little more savvy. In any case, I believe this could only enhance the game further, making self-preservation more challenging. I’ve seen other comments related to lack of online activity (no one to play with) and about playing for free. For me personally, it’s no big deal, never felt the real need to be able to play strangers online. I took a gamble, bought the game and tested inviting a friend to play (for free), which worked fine, no issues. I was sceptical at first after reading some comments, but am extremely pleased to say how glad I am that I made this purchase. I can’t recommend ‘Hunt…’ highly enough, for those who love Cluedo, Mystery of the Abbey (tabletop games), but then maybe I’m just extremely optimistic and easily pleased.

Okay I love this game. Like a lot it mixes a lot of elements I like. It has a huge learning curve as many said which I think could be cut down like if you had a sheet or a tab to check what monsters did what that would be cool. Other than that the people complaining about assholes in chats and that didn’t group play I bet, its would be much easier playing with just friends than random people
Over all I don’t make a lot of reviews but i love this game so fucking much I’m leaving a review.

Central to Nurose is the unique spell building system. Spells are built by visually programming glyphs in a staff. There are 30+ glyphs ranging from simple movement glyphs to complex conditional glyphs. You don’t need to level up to earn new glyphs or staffs. Each glyph is available from the start so everyone is on a even playing field.
The possibilities of this are endless. Some spells that you could make include:

The game itself was designed with a lot of fun and inventiveness with my kids (4y & 2y) and the majority of the game was hand-painted by them, which thus has a beautiful and playful charm.
We really had a lot of fun creating and collecting ideas for the game and hope to inspire you as much as we do.

CyberNEON
5 Pretty environments that don’t distract you while you play.
The rules are simples : align 3 or more tiles of the same icon to cover between 60% and 70% (depending on difficulty) of the tiles with your color. While doing this, an ability charges up. It allows you to drop a bomb on any tile. It colors this tile and the adjacent ones with your color while destroying the icons, making the tiles above fall.
Playing on the same board as another player (AI or real player) is a nice twist leading to unforeseen movements of the tiles. The AI has 3 difficulty settings. Sometimes it doesn’t do anything for 10 seconds then does several combos in rapid successions.

too little content for what it’s worth.
-game has 5 stages which are all the same. only background differs. no gameplay variety there.
-only 1 ability (bomb) that detonates 5 tiles in a plus shape. could use more tbh.
-no online pvp (not that there would be players anyway) so doesnt really matter i guess.
-AI are….weird. all ai difficulties are like the same thing; equally dumb.
i got bored after 5 mins.
other match 3 games like wish, mirror and whatever else are better cause they give an incentive for you to keep playing, iykwim.

Ur Game: The Game of Ancient Gods
Great game! It’s an earlier version of backgammon, dating back 4500 years, when it was known in most parts of the world.
There is this hilarious video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZskjLq040I of the curator who actually translated the rules from an ancient clay tablet playing this.
The AI is not bad and you can play it against steam-friends, though sadly there is no public matchmaking. Extra points for the Horus(?)-like avatars.
Still getting updated with things like daily challenges.

Addictive little game, especially for times like these. Would you like to play a board game with your friend, but you can’t due to corona? Try this game, it’s fun, and I can say it’s definitely one of those games, in which you and your friend would be like “rematch?” after each game :)
Pros:
-
easy to play, hard to master (due to combination of luck and tactic/strategy)
-
low price
-
multiplayer
-
bots (various difficulty, so you can practice your tactic and skill to beat your friend next time ;) )

Pointless. This is too buggy to play.

It’s a game with puzzles that require average IQ. The puzzles also get repeated. If you’re average IQ and want to feel like you’re smart, this is the game for you. If you qualify for mensa and beyond, this isn’t it.
