Now this game… I’m so happy I went to EGX: just for finding out about this game. You will not find anothergame quite like this. It is so fun. The game is so well refined, being a bit fiddly to rotate blocks and remove blocks from corners of a cube structure. But this shouldn’t push your choice away from it. If you think you could enjoy it, even if the features such as online multiplayer and bots arn’t there yet, support it, buy it, try to get some friends to try it out with you.
Bottom line is you won’t regret backing this game as that £4.99 / $6.25 / €5.89 will aid these talented people form a full game of content.

Been playing Blockships for a long time, at various trade shows, and it’s just pure unadulterated fun. Everyone from young to old gets it immediately and then it’s just game after game of explosions, laughter, and victorious cheering.
It’s easy to pick up but there’s a great amount of depth and strategic awareness to the gameplay. You try to keep track of both the contents and positioning of your opponents' ship parts, the blocks scattered around the level, and the blocks you have available. Building to counter opponents on-the-fly is super unique, and the entire battlefield can change in an instant with a skillfully placed shot.

Observers
This game is great to have fun with some friends. If you are playing with friends, I would suggest using controllers so that the keyboard isn’t cramped. When playing solo, some of the characters are much better at certain levels, so I would suggest you switch characters if you can’t figure the level out with the one you are using.

Plotline:

You have been enlisted to join the Hoovernauts - an elite team of combat specialists operating in space and led by a military general known only by his code name: Hoover. Asteroid Arena
Asteroid Arena is a player vs player, space ship battle arena, where you gather up your “friends” and have fun shooting around in an asteroid field while trying to be the last ship standing. World is shrinking, time is running out and you need to find the other ships, weapons, protection and boosters before the others find you!… Or just hide in a nebula cloud until everybody else have destroyed each other.
The game is played with 2-4 players either on the same computer (with split-screen) or on different computers by inviting your Steam friends.
For playing on the same computer it is highly suggested to use gamepads as some keyboards have limitations on how many keys that can be pressed simultaneously.
Cloud Miners
Cloud Miners is a 2D couch co-op space mining and exploration game!
You and your shipmates have been attacked and your ship destroyed! A Cloud Corp ship was nearby and able to save the crew at the last minute, but now you are indebted to Cloud Corp. Unless I am missing something there is no way to start the game. Possibly a bad mobile port? You get to what appears to be the main launch page and there is no ‘new game’ no ‘start’ button just the image of a planet and the name of the game V1.0. I have submitted the only screenshot. Unless this is fixed I obviously can’t recommend this game.

Galaxy Trucker: Extended Edition
I’d recommend this game but with a few caveats. I’d encourage the developers to patch it with a couple of things:
Some of the missions are buried in the game in a way that could have just little more convenience built in to finding them. There are even dialogue boxes that say for the player, “I thought I was done with the campaign.” Kind of cute. Mostly irritating.
The more difficult missions, especially the big race, are so difficult that they are likely to be redone. Please don’t make a player click fifty times through the same flavor text every single time the mission is reset. That’s a mid-90s rookie mistake in any game design–like the long cut scene that can’t be skipped. Do it once, give us our laugh, and then let get about the business grinding away at a nearly impossible mission.

Great, great conversion from the board game. This is one of those board games that was looking for the perfect digital adaption and they nailed. I only wish they didn’t TAKE SO LONG to make it playable on my OS, and that my version wasn’t still in the habit of making all my options on the home screen come up with a question “Do you want to quit?”. That is some serious glitch. Every time I come back to the home screen I’m forced to quit the game if I want to do anything because I have to restart it to use any option on the homepage. Other than that the game is free of glitches, and just excellent on every level. I want different musical options too, though I’ll probably not use any of them much. Another expansion would be good too, but the included one still has me busy :)

STARWHAL
a Fun little co-op game that can be played with friends.
The game has Single player challenges that can be played but the game was never intent for Single Player so that entire section is lacking somewhat, but the game was meant for multiplayer, that is where it really shines.
The game made very simplistically but very enjoyable, the controls are easy and fun to use with little to no hassle there, a sit back and relax game type.
The games graphics is a love or hate concept, if you have any love for the 80’s art and look style you will absolutely love the graphics, is vibrant and brimming with color, a lot of attention to detail was invested here and it paid off well.

Truly the Citizen Kane of marine-based mammal space battling games.
Really though, this game is great, arcade fun. Hook it up to the TV and you’ve got a great party game. It draws you into to a frenetic, fast paced battle royale. The simplicity of the game means that anyone can play it, and go from saying “that looks silly, I’ll pass” to “OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS AWESOME” in about 4 seconds (and I’m not saying it looks silly).
The additions that they’ve added are great. Great variety of arenas, hilarious costumes (Jayne’s hat!). And they’re planning on adding so much more. Game modes. Single player. All sorts of goodies, it’s just going to get better and better!

World Destroyers

Great throwback game. Love the retro, look, sounds and music. Put on your headphones for this one. Controls are smooth once you get the hang of them, and the handy tutorial at the beginning provided the opportunity to do just that. I played using my xbox one controller and it worked beautifully.
World Destroyers is easy to get into, but hard to perfect. I’m thankful for the variety of difficulty modes. Looking forward to becoming a master. Reminds me of a newer, better version of the classic arcade game, Asteroids.
