Looks like good game not developed good enough. First menu seems very console like, no mouse interaction possible. That shouldnt be aproblem though. A problem comes up, when you start playing - I can hear various nefarious activities going on, but all I have is black screen and some numbers on top. Is there some undocumented dependencies for Linux? I would not like to get money return, rather a goodlooking game functioning at least for 90%, not like 5% as of now.

Colossus Down
Colossus Down is a pretty fun beat ‘em up with interesting mechanics, such as the abilities you can unlock, going into a shoot ‘em up for one of the levels, solving several puzzles, or making karmic decisions. There were however, some things that were not all that fun, such as a couple of bosses, along with the karmic decisions not impacting the game as much as I would have liked it to. Still, even with those gripes, I still enjoyed the game, and I would still recommend it.

Kid goes into a temper tantrum, mounts a mecha and kills the president of the United States.
AND THAT’S JUST THE FIRST LEVEL
I’ll be updating the review as I play, but for the moment, is this a good game? - Yes. It’s an absolutely ridiculous odyssey bursting with personality and a pretty damn good beat’em up.

I really like this game… and what it makes it special for me.
What makes it extra special is that I have met the people behind the game.
This gives me total picture for the game and the people behind it.

Guns, Gore & Cannoli is a 2D zombie Shoot ‘Em Up indie game. As you might expect, it includes guns, gore and, you guessed it, cannoli. Vinnie, who has a mission in Thugtown, is one of the rare humans still in town. Zombies are all around it, but luckily, he gets a few guns to fight them. And man, was that a fun fight!
You want ups and downs, right? There you go:
Pros:
- Despite its style, this game actually has a really good story. I don’t want to spoil it, but it exceeded my expectations. The story is evolving, more people are getting involved in the story …

Arnold Bounty Hunter
“Arnold Bounty Hunter” - it is a fantastic adventure according to genres like Beat ‘em up / Shoot’ em up / Platformer, which was created as the spiritual heir of the iconic classic games of the era of the NES (Battletoads, Double Dragon). The heart of the project is diversity and complexity. Each level contains unique mechanics and is not similar to the previous levels.
The main characters of the game are Arnold and Miko, bounty hunters. They receive a contract to capture a very dangerous criminal, the leader of the Star Corsairs space pirate clan. But having begun the task, they fall into a trap, and crash on a little-studied planet LV-4.26 in the Zeta Grid cluster. To survive and complete the task, Arnold and Miko will have to endure many dangerous adventures.

Mighty Goose
Mighty Goose is a godsend. The current epitome of love letters to Metal Slug with some other on the sleeve nods thrown in. Megaman X to name one & more. None of it feels forced though & I need to stress that. Inspirations are obvious but Mighty Goose is wholeheartedly it’s own thing. Familiar throwbacks are implemented in a fresh way that work for this game first & foremost & it certainly isn’t at all riding on nostalgia. It’s a great & original game because they’ve designed a great & original game. The references aren’t overbearing & are just welcomed gravy.

It’s a titled goose game and they got guns for hands. Short and sweet, Mighty Goose knows exactly what it wants to be and that is an intergalactic arcade-like action romp with anthropomorphic friends causing a bunch of beautifully satisfying chaos. The particle effects and wonderfully detailed bombast recalls the aesthetic of Metal Slug, which is impressive for seemingly a team of 3 main developers (Richard Lems, Diane De Wilde, and Mathias Kaertev).
On top of the generous checkpointing, variety of Star Fox-like buddies that can tag along, breezy yet varied levels, the freedom to buy weapons and vehicles on the fly makes for some silly scenarios where I can be on a bike with my buddies taking down a whole boss. It reminds me of my favourite moments in Halo where I’m trying to squeeze the warthog into every space and the game respects my player agency. Is it overpowered? Who cares, I got the money for it! The movement options help you be very nimble such as crouch sprint jumps that fling you out of tough situations or being able to hover longer if you keep shooting downwards. It’s a very offensive game so even the defensive ability of honking giving you a shield didn’t seem necessary with how easily you can get out of a pickle. The weapons pack a punch and any game that has a good shotgun is a winner in my books. The game can automatically go into slow-mo when cool shit is popping off much like a Max Payne. When you get the ability to slow down time at your own will, you can enact a screen-filling ballet of carnage that’s as satisfying to carry out as it is to just watch.

Speed Brawl
Speed Brawl is one of those games that I’m not really sure of how it ended up in my library. Must’ve been something like a Humble Bundle? Regardless, that is a damn shame, because I genuinely wish I had purchased this game at full price.
Speed Brawl is a 2D sidescrolling brawler, where speed is your friend. It features one of the most satisfying combat systems I’ve played. The faster you move, the more damage you do. You can pick between 6 different characters (you start with 2 and unlock the others later), and you tag team the levels. This means that you can swap between 2 characters at your leisure. The game also features couch and online co-op, and online leaderboards.

Its fun game 9/10 I’d say
It has charm, style and a great sound track. Dialouige isnt afraid to be rude at times, I honestly kinda wish this was somesorta TV series or somthing, the setting and style and intro cut scene really get me pulled into the world.
Combat is Pretty on point, camera is a bit shakey and some moves behave strangely but never really enough to pull me from the game (use a controller if you can Keyboard works but its a lot easier and more fluent with a controller)
The characters fight fairly differently, have special abities that fit them, and a leveling system, witch i think could have used
