Takelings House Party

Takelings House Party

Picked this up as it’s one of the few asymmetrical VR games out there. Ultimately, it’s probably the best VR game you could play with friends. The concept is genius and it’s always a fun time when you’re chasing down your friends. It’s fun to replay the levels and there’s a few items/objects to spice things up.

The major downside to this game is simply the content. There’s only 3 levels, and while they’re all fun, I wish there was many many more. This game is so good you just want there to be tons and tons of levels. It only takes maybe an hour to pretty much see all there is to this game. I’ve still got 5x that, purely on replay-ability.

We’re a family of 5, ages 6+, and this game is quite a LOT of fun! Yes, it’s only got 3 levels…but to give everyone a chance to play every level in VR just once…that’s 15 rounds across 5 people! This game is NOT overpriced, and will be a family-game-night staple in our household as-is, but I WOULD NOT suggest it with fewer players - this is a PARTY game.

The kitchen level is really really good, though. The attic is really fun while the wall-breaking is really difficult. I suspect that they only get better with more players.

Few words about the game

Collider is a great, colorful arcade game with non-stop energetic gameplay, from the very beginning of it. You get to choose from one of 5 different game types, each with its own unique rules and variety of amazing music in background. Singleplayer is good and challenging as it’s quite hard to achieve good scores alone. Multiplayer however is epic and terribly addictive, I can’t wait for another opportunity to play with someone else, it’s just too good!

Dispite its simplicity is the game a lot of fun and stays fun for a long time. The Map ideas are great and the character design is just gorgeous. The tiny details about the character just give the game so much life and you can tell that the creators put a lot of effort in it. I can recommend this game for everyone who loves to play with and against friends.

LOVE IT! Played with 3 good friends in a 4 player local vs game. The most fun I’ve had with my friends in a new game in a long time.

Fast paced and quick thinking, every round ended with cheers and laughter as we found new ways to outsmart eachother.

Never a dull moment with friends in this game.

Endless hours of fun!

and now onto the short review

//Description//

Pixels Guide to Staying Dead is a local top down shooter game with an interesting twist- you must bring your opponents to 0 HP. Use your math skills to determine how to do that.

//Graphics, Sound & Artstyle//

there isn’t much to say about the graphics as it seems like any other pixel type of game. Sound is nice and found myself humming the main theme.

The first game from Catalope Games is just as great as it looks.

For starters, it’s absolutely gorgeous.

Fast paced action for 1-4 players as well as lots and lots of fun.

Recommended for anyone who likes party games, geometry wars or just indie games in general.

The camera is the biggest enemy in the game. It does and WILL pull you into asteroids, enemies, and bombs.

This has become one of my go-to games to sit with some friends and just laugh and have fun. There is a little bit of a learning curve with the controls but it isn’t frustrating. The only real frustration you get is when your friends edge you out. I would like to see more game modes in the future; however, what the game currently has is more than enough for some hours of entertainment with friends.

The local multiplayer can support up to 8 friends or bots and is definitely a joy with more people. Simple yet extremely entertaining.

English(i’m not excellent at english): I don’t tried the game for too long,I TOTALLY recommend it to you if you don’t have any friends to play with or if do you have them(in my case I use Parsec to play online),very nice playing singlepayer. Very nice soundtrack and in my opinion the experience is much better with a controller rather than with a keyboard

Quite a fun little game. The AI is ok if you’re playing by yourself and the levels are interesting.

In my opinion the best level is the Museum (Because of the smashable Glass).

In my opinion the game is worth it, but only at around 50% off. At full price the game doesn’t justify its cost. The game is fun though. Customization is great and physics is fun too.

Wizards Tourney

Wizards Tourney

Video Review at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjJAeTXZGWU

Wizards Tourney is a competitive multiplayer party game where a mix of up to 4 human or computer players will compete in a variety of minigames individually or in a tournament setup where scores are tallied to determine the victor. This game is published and developed by A Bonfire of Souls, a pretty new studio from Spain and a big thanks to the team for providing a review key for me to check this out.

Wizards Tourney starts off with a short story explaining the events of how this tournament came to be. A powerful elite force takes over the old tournament and a rogue group of wizards from all around decide to start their own tournament to show off who is the best wizard in all the lands. The story serves as nothing more than a brief introduction into the world of the game and it would have been nice to see it fleshed out more.

There are several minigames, not too many. They resemble each other, that is true. 2-3 of them are fun, while others are dull. The character skins and environments are soft colore and the movements in the games are a bit slow-paced, so the game lacks tension a little bit. Also, there is nothing else than those minigames, so you play it and it finishes. Can be fun for half an hour at night with your friends over, no more than that. But it wouldn’t hurt to have in your library.

+Bots are available in the game, so you can also play single player when you are bored.
