Munchie Match
A simple and effective falling block match3 game - with the ability to go head-2-head against someone with couch or remote play. Singleplayer puzzles force you to destroy cute monsters…

Absolutely love this Steam edition. Two player mode is also a great addition to the game. Munchie Match is very involving, and it is rather hard to quit once you start playing it. Hours of challenging gameplay. Recommend for all lovers of the tile-matching games.

Puzzle Patrol
NOTE: This review is only for the Zen mode at this time. I will add more to this review when I play the other modes more.
An absolutely engaging puzzle game that is very simple: match 3 or more of the same color “monster” and then hit them again to make them disappear. Do this multiple times in a row quickly to complete what I would call a “chain”. The more “chains” you do, the more points you get because the “chain” number equals the multiplier. The objective is to score the most number of points as quickly as you can.

Needs more ways to reward large clears, not just combos! Still, pretty good - although TotalBiscuit would be mad about this game - “a PC match-3 game without mouse support” (as he once said about Frozen Steam version)

Papertris
Papertris is an interesting and fun arcade puzzle game in which colored cubes dissolve in all 6 possible directions and you decide where to place your cubes.
In addition, there are also power cubes and numerous possible combinations in a classic but modern and lovingly hand-painted game.
-
The Challenge mode is tricky with various tasks where the player has to solve suitable tasks in order to get to the next level, which are more difficult at each level
-
In the Endless mode, which gets faster and more difficult from level to level, you can score points as long as you can
-
The 2 player VS mode demands tactical skill in which players can use numerous combos to send each other blocking cubes to block the opponent’s options
-
Combinations of the cubes in all 6 directions
-
Atmospheric music
-
Icon option for color blind people
-
Dark mode
-
Full Controller support
The game itself was designed with a lot of fun and inventiveness with my kids (4y & 2y) and the majority of the game was hand-painted by them, which thus has a beautiful and playful charm.
We really had a lot of fun creating and collecting ideas for the game and hope to inspire you as much as we do.

Castles
Awesome puzle game, with fancy and colorful graphics, fun and addictive. It has a simple gameplay (match-3) but doesn’t get boring with bosses every 10 levels that slightly changes the mechanics and multiple possible combinations (materials or the tools above the blocks). If the 50 level story mode isn’t enough, there is a versus mode if you have a friend or brother/sister to play with, and a survival mode where you can try to break your records.
Fully recommended

Batu Ta Batu
batu ta batu would be a pretty cool matching game, not your typical match-3 variety, but mostly broken controls make it largely unplayable. the store page says keyboard supported (as if it should be a feature in a pc game), but it just means the game sometimes reacts to keypresses somehow.

Aloof
Aloof has a lovely unique atmosphere and simple to pick up gameplay but with insane depth. And I think I only started scratching the surface. It also has many multiplayer modes! Start for the vibe and stay for the combo’s.

Fat Mask
I played the game a bit during the beta stage of the game and this is what I think. Fat Mask is a really fun brawler type local multiplayer game minus the brawling. Sounds weird, I know, but it has the feel of a brawler in the free for all mode except minus violence (unless you want to count shooting a cube at another players face, causing him to bounce around like crazy). There’s also a solo/co-op mode, where you work together to try to get as high a score as possible. But sometimes, it’s nice to try to best your friends in the free for all mode when you’re feeling competitive. In both game modes, there’s actually more depth to the gameplay than you would imagine at first - when you learn how to steal combos, combine combos, grab other’s cubes midair, etc, you start to really feel this. The only thing that irks me is that when you have your finger off the left stick and shoot a block, it goes in the last direction you pointed the stick, but I expect it to go to my avatar’s forward. I’ve missed some combo closing because of this, but I more or less got used to it by now

I have received this product for free, but it won’t change my overall idea, nor that it will influence my opinion in any way.
TLDR; Look for ‘‘Overall’’ bellow
Puzzle-Brawler does describe Fat Mask pretty well.
Let me summarize: There is 2 main game mode: Solo/Coop and Free for all.
In the solo/coop mode, you have to build block combos before a time limit (represented by 2 red ‘‘walls’’ that close on the screen. Once they touch it’s time out). As soon as you do a combo, the ‘‘walls’’ withdraw themselves a bit. The greater the combo is, the wider the walls will open. This can be played with friends: Building the biggest combo using teamwork.

Tumblestone
This puzzle game seems seriously under-recognized, and under-appreciated. Yeah, it’s a match-three game, and its immediate presentation and art style aren’t super amazing. However, below the surface, this game and its systems run very deep.
The game that the developer made prior to this is another puzzle game. I haven’t played it, but it looks really smart, even pretentious; it’s like playing an M.C. Escher painting. So yeah, this wouldn’t be a developer that would just go and make a dumb match-three puzzle game.

I’ve been playing puzzle games since I was young, but it’s been quite a while since something has really grabbed my attention. I didn’t think much of this when I first saw the store page, but I was so very wrong. Tumblestone is definitely the puzzle game I’ve been looking for.
Tumblestone is a Match-3 at heart, but it goes far deeper than you might think. The premise of the game is to match like-colored tumblestones in sets of three in order to clear the board. Your character shoots from the bottom of the screen to remove the lowest tumblestone of that column. This starts off as a rather simple task, but it quickly becomes a much more complex process; even the most straightfoward puzzles will require careful planning and execution to complete. As you progress through the campaign you will unlock modifiers, which mix up gameplay by changing the rules that are used when clearing blocks. Each of these modifiers will require you to think in a completely different manner than the others. You can also enable party mode in the options which will unlock every character and modifier to be used for local play only. In short, between its single-player and multiplayer modes, Tumblestone boasts a wide range of content.

Critter Crunch
Gameplay: Each campaign world introduces a new mechanic, gently expanding Critter Crunch’s basic puzzle premise into a diverse field of interactions. The variety of special critters and abilities produces a deep optimization exercise. I had great fun with the puzzle and challenge levels - they encourage studying move consequences that would otherwise go unnoticed in the frenzy of clearing the board.
Controls: Generally quick and responsive, which is ideal for what becomes a twitch puzzler at high levels. However, I wish it took the same time to interact with critters regardless of screen position. Waiting for Biggs' tongue to extend for high-hanging critters needlessly breaks the flow/pacing.

I’m not a big fan of puzzle games, but I enjoyed this one. It is basically a twist on color matching puzzle games like Bejeweled (although it is absolutely unique as far as I am concerned). I think Critter Crunch is about as robust as a game centered around a single concept could be.
There are four different single player game modes, as well as two multiplayer modes. The main mode is Adventure mode, which unlocks the other modes and includes some of the challenges and puzzles. Challenges are usually a more frantic pace with a set time limit, and puzzles are more peaceful with no time constraint. Each Adventure mode area has its own unique background, and new gameplay elements are added as you progress for even more variety. The story of a guy studying the critters is shallow but fun. Challenge mode consists of 55 challenges. Puzzle mode consists of 100 puzzles. Survival mode is endless.

Pew Pew Puzzle Defense
I’m reviewing the game only based on my experience playing it with a controller and I haven’t tried local multiplayer yet.
DEVELOPER / PUBLISHER REVIEW 👍

Most towers are manually fired, which is fine in and of itself. however, the basic tower requires button mashing to fire at a vaguely reasonable rate, and when you’re firing you can’t run around collecting coins. When you’re running around collecting coins, you can’t fire. The flamethrower tower can fire just by being held down, which is fine, but it’s very short range, so it’s not usable as a front line of defense. May be more fun with multiplayer, since one of you could be collecting coins while the other shoots, and you can double up on shooting when you’re close to losing. The button mashing killed the game for me.
