Overcooked
My wife has played this damn thing to three stars on every damn level including the expansions, including solo and co-op. She occasionally stomps my little ass in versus. And even though I’ve been totally dominated I have to say this game is tight. It’s one of those things that just . . . all the pieces work together and go together perfectly. I just want Overcooked 2, and I hope they don’t change a damn thing. It’s one of the better video games I ever played really.
To the people giving it thumbs down for not being great single player - well, it’s not supposed to be that. But like I say, my wife plays it single player and can beat the whole damn game like that. Which is insane and unnatural, but it can be done.

Can’t Drive This
You have a friendship that needs to put on a test?
This is your tool, and you’ll even end up having a ton of fun!
“Can’t Drive This” is a party-game to give you and your friends a lot of reasons to yell at each other and a reason for that making-it-all-up-again-cold-beverage afterwards.
The objective is simple: One builds a neat driving track, while the other has to drive it (yes, WHILE it is being built) and the driver must (in all Speed-ish style) not drop below a certain speed.
But that’d be way too simple, there is un-simplifying obstacles like windmills you can crash into, trapdoors you can fall down in, pinball bumpers that almost literally bump’n’kick you out of the screen, and many, many more the driver will hate the builder for placing right in front of them.

Let’s be honest, you look at this game and what do you think? Probably something like: hey, that looks cute, probably fun for a couple of hours but not really something I’d buy.
This game is by no means perfect, but it is AWESOME. When I think of things to compare it to, I think games like Super Smash Bros. or the classic Pole Position. It’s just the most hype inducing, focus requiring, shout inspiring, frustrating game ever. It looks easy enough, “oh, I’ll just drive slow.” Nope. “I’ll just go straight.” You’re funny. “How bout I just throw away this piece.” Good luck with that.

Aces of the Luftwaffe - Squadron
Not z good Shmup.
-
Long loading times
-
The action is hindered by text overlay at times
-
The zoom in zoom out effect adds nothing to gameplay but interfere with the action
-
The whole squadron thing is more a nuisance than anything else4
-
Grindy, you’ll eventually get all upgrade
The first AotL was better as a simple SHMUP, this one is boring

Very fun game. My only complaint is that sometimes with all of the firepower from you and your squadron as well as boss fire, it can be a bit hard to see where you are sometimes. Overall, the challenge is fair in most cases, the voice acting is entertaining and I appreciate how the story looks at both sides of the conflict with the DLC added. I hope to see more in this series!

Arnold Bounty Hunter
“Arnold Bounty Hunter” - it is a fantastic adventure according to genres like Beat ‘em up / Shoot’ em up / Platformer, which was created as the spiritual heir of the iconic classic games of the era of the NES (Battletoads, Double Dragon). The heart of the project is diversity and complexity. Each level contains unique mechanics and is not similar to the previous levels.
The main characters of the game are Arnold and Miko, bounty hunters. They receive a contract to capture a very dangerous criminal, the leader of the Star Corsairs space pirate clan. But having begun the task, they fall into a trap, and crash on a little-studied planet LV-4.26 in the Zeta Grid cluster. To survive and complete the task, Arnold and Miko will have to endure many dangerous adventures.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime
LiaDS is a very cool game. You are on a mission to restore love to the galaxy in your spaceship, with either one player and an AI helper, or local co-op. It has a pretty unique gimmick, in that you must move your characters from station to station in order to control parts of the ship you’re flying. What this means in practice is that most of the time one person will be flying the ship, while the other moves between the guns and the shields defending you. In special circumstances both players will have to man the defenses while the ship idles.

Comment:
Sometimes a little gem of a game appears and rocks your gaming life. This is one of those games. Charged with flying a space ship against the forces of Anti-love you have up to seven stations to operate. Singleplayer is doable with an AI pet buddy who you assign to which station he should go to. However, the AI cannot fly the ship for you and some boss fights prove more difficult. Still, it is nice to have AI that actually works and you can finish the whole campaign with. Apart from one achievement you can do the entire game solo. But should you? Well … not really. This game is built around playing with another person (or people) and it shows. The intense way this game brings people together means you will both argue and celebrate together. I can recommend it as a team-building game as well. This comes from the fact that no player is useless. Whether it is operating the shields, engines or weapons, it all is needed to ensure victory. This shows especially true in boss fights. Large amount of difficulty settings helps make the game more accessible to new/casual gamers. But at the same time more veteran players can opt for the higher difficulties for an added challenge. Sadly, there is no online multiplayer. While I get the sentiment behind the point of having a real person play next to you (it is incredibly great) it sadly is not an option for everyone. Therefore online play would be more than welcome. Personally I had a HUGE amount of fun playing this game, in solo play, but especially with my wife and her bro. So much fun in fact that I would dare say this is the best co-op game I have ever played. It mixes all the right elements together and creates an experience like no other. If you have a person (or people) who can come over and play with you this is a must-have game!

Neighborhorde
I LOVE this game, it has a great artstyle, awesome weapons and enemies, and is it has an amazing replayability value.
I originally bought this game because my friend and I were bored and needed something to do, not knowing what I had gotten myself into. The game starts you out looking at a group of animals sitting on a couch together, but as soon as you get into the game you think to yourself, “Huh, this game looks pretty empty.” Then, five rounds later your like, “This game is too easy, give me a challenge.” and then the next round you are just killing some robots and then BAM you get kidnapped by a demon snowman that takes you into a corner and repeatedly beats the everliving shiz out of you. I have only played the game a little while now but holy crap this game is entertaining as heck and I still don’t understand why it isn’t more popular. Overall, I give it a 9/10, the only thing they could’ve done to make it better is to add some more gamemodes.

I stumbled across this game late one evening. I threw it on my wishlist and waited for it to release. I saw it came out a few days ago and decided “what the heck”. Man, am I glad I did. I absolutely adore Neighborhorde. I have to say, the looks, design, and overall aesthetic is fantastic. The cheery fun visuals and the 90’s toybox theme is wonderful. For 4.99 there is tons of content/replayability. Unlockable “hats” and levels as well as the “roguelike” in-run upgrade system have made it a staple already with my roomates. After we had played it for around an hour we already had the theme stuck in our heads. the controls are super tight too! I purposely go out of my way to buy couch coop games. I have a cooler master scout 2 case with a gtx 1070 that is perfect to take to parties. I have 4 wireless xbox one controllers and 4 wireless 360s. Steam couch coop games are always hits. For 4.99 this game is a total steal and totally worthy of being in my collection.

Cyber Lemur
This game is a really fun challenge. I don’t typically go for awkward control games, but this game achieves just the right level of difficulty with good pacing. The later levels are really challenging and would take a while to really master! The multiplayer options are where the real fun happens. There’s an element of unpredictability and silliness that balances the challenging controls to make it really fun both when working together to control the same character, or when competing against each other. I would definitely recommend it whether you are looking for a challenge, or just a casual game to play with friends!

Diner Bros Inc
Great couch-coop game with a lot of variety in the fast paced mini games.
Remote Play Together also works great. Keep in mind that only one player can use a keyboard though.
A great extra feature would be a party mode, where the high scores are shared with the normal save game, but you start with the first small set of mini games. In that way, new players can get acquainted to them and gradually unlock and enjoy more mini games.

Amazing party / couch co-op game. Pretty fun to race after highscores when playing solo, and certainly good laughs when playing in groups. It is also a pretty good game to introduce to the younger kids who are just starting to get into videogames, as the minigames are quite intuitive by themselves.
However, this game is not for everyone. If you’re looking for complex stories or gameplay mechanics, then I’m afraid this is not for you. If you are, however, looking for simple and fun gameplay, give it a try, you will probably love it.

Highlaundry
Really great game. Overcooked style.
Is funny playing with 4 players local or with steam’s remote play
– Real player with 12.3 hrs in game
It’s a little clunky but it just came out so I expect any clunkiness to be fixed in future updates. The style is like Overcooked except it’s limited to Steam Remote Play. It feels less stressful than Overcooked because of the music playing during a round, granted we’ve only played a couple of stages so I’m not sure if the music picks up or anything. I do wish that it was made for online play rather than remote play. I’ve tried remote play a few times and it is SO buggy/bad even when the both of us have stable wifi. However, I won’t fault Highlaundry for the faults of Steam Remote Play.
