The idea of creating this videogame came in when spending time with our young family members (e.g. nephews and niece) playing a videogame. It should be easy to play, not too many buttons, yet plenty of fun. We are scripting from the very beginning everything to accommodate three languages; English, French and Spanish, so the videogame will be available en those three languages.
We just give you for now a video and a couple of screen capture of the first tests.
We are thinking on adding a script to be able to import your own pictures to the game, so instead of having the 4 portraits of each character, you may import yours. I bet my niece and nephews would love that.
Alpha version of the videogame, actual game play, is working well.
Initial early version: integrating First Person Mode on split screen with main campaign, for up to 4 players;
GAME CONTROLLERS
You may use;
-
Xbox One controllers or similar
-
Keyboard & Mouse
LOCALISATION
I have been integrating different languages from the very beginning of programming / development. I use Dialogue System from Pixel Crushers which allows easy integration, and for specific short texts as in the Main Menu, I have just hardcode it. Once you choose a language, Dialogue System keeps / save that info for the entire videgame, so upon load an scene, Dialogue System load all previous saved data including language chosen.

ARSLAN: THE WARRIORS OF LEGEND
This is one of those 4 / 10 sort of games.
It isn’t that I hate it, but I’ve played a lot of musou games and this isn’t a particularly good one.
Plus it is for an anime I’d never even heard of before and am unable to find anywhere even now.
Most other musou games are rather more fleshed out than this one.
There aren’t many characters, and quite a few of them have clone movesets or near enough to them.
Weapons can’t be significantly customised beyond picking an elemental moveset after unlocking them, and an annoying card collection is the substitute for character skills (but you’ll probably want exactly the same cards on every character anyway since some are overwhelmingly better than others).

I feel like I can review this now after 10 hours before I sink another 60 hours in.
Positive Remarks:
This game marks a turning point for KT and for all of us who love their Omega force games. This game needs more positive attention. I mean that in the most don’t fuck this up for us kind of way. I want more of this sub genre in their catalogue. Curse me, I even want more DLCs.
I knew before I started the game I would love it -the instant I saw it. Usually, that feeling is met by severe disappointment. Not so this time, Not so, Sir! There are unlockables in this game. Unlockables. Allow me to explain the gravity of that to the uninitiated: that’s stuff they could have just charged you for on DLC.

DYNASTY WARRIORS 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition
Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition Review
Nostalgia Goggles Factor: Very Low.
Bug Factor: Very Low.
Crash Factor: Very Low.
Replay Factor: Intrinsic.
A crowd-control, hack’n slash game based on a Chinese novel, set in the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. DW8XL contains an enormous amount of content and repetitive gameplay.
As I have played and reviewed DW3 recently, I will be doing some comparisons between these two games. Like many other reviewers have pointed out, “Complete Edition” is a lie, as is evident from glancing at the DLC section and you should not be playing this game with a keyboard.

-sigh- Where do I begin?
Well, I gotta start by saying, if you’re looking to get into the Warriors/Musou games, this would be the ideal title to start with. Easily the best title in the series (at least since DW5).
For those new to the series, Dynasty Warriors (a.k.a. Shin Sangoku Musō) is, basically, a hack-n'-slash based on era of the Three Kingdoms of China, and the romanticized novel of the same name. In its stages, there are thousands of enemies of various calibers to mow down. You got your peons that go down in a few hits, your commanders that are a little tougher, your generic named officers that are a threat, and other playable characters that have the same abilities you do. You have a more-or-less equal amount of allies on your side, and how they fight is determined by your side’s overall morale, which itself is determined by your performace. Each character has their own string of combinations, but I’ll get into that in the next paragraph.

Riverbond
The overall presentation is great. Its fun with a good atmosphere that is very upbeat. The sound compliments the game. The only problem with a game as polished as this it needs a variety of game modes beyond the levels. Maybe I haven’t unlocked them yet, I don’t know. I have only played half way through the game. I know i could play the same level over and over again. But may be a local/online pvp free for all or some player vs environment mode like Boss Battle etc. Some RPG elements possibly as well. I’m hoping DLCs in the future will add to what I think is already an awesome game and worth every penny as far as I’m concerned..

Die for Valhalla!
Die for Valhalla! is an amazing combination of rogue-lite and side-scrolling beat-em-up style game that has amazing graphics and catchy music. This game is absolutely huge with so much continuous slaughtering fun!
There are two different playing modes, the first is essentially an arcade mode with a larger world where there are a ton of procedurally generated side-scrolling beat-em-up levels. Your goal is hack, smash, and slash your way to the end of the levels and defeat all of the enemies along the way. The other mode is essentially a rogue-lite, more difficult, with permadeath. Your choices matter a bit more because everything could mean life and death. (Kind of funny given the premise of the game.)

What a gem! $9-12 of hack n slash fun!
Fans of “Rampage knights” and “Castle Crashers” this is a great game for you .
Die for Valhalla follows the same pace, environments and formula as castle crashers with quite a bit more attention to skill point allocation and character development.
This game, while a fun multi-player, still shines with an entertaining singleplayer mode. This is often not the case for hack n slash beat em up games. You start by picking a spirit who represents a season. As that spirit, you can possess objects or revivable vikings to fight and dominate the battlefield in silly ways. Each viking represents a class or style of fighting with special moves. Pets can be found on some maps by defending a point (warning the shrines health will be your pets health, and yes pets can die). Hopefully pets can be permantly unlocked, as they feel somewhat useless at the moment acting as dumb damage sponges. If you leave a map to the overworld view, you have the option to unlock clan houses that contain various types of vikings and bonus perks.

Gauntlet™ Slayer Edition
Arrowhead was undoubtedly thrilled to apply their mantra to their childhood franchise by quickening the series with a more tactical reboot. They indeed elaborated on the action, but did they make a winning formula, and is this truly Gauntlet?
The Heroes
If your perspective on nostalgia consists of 4 buddies coming together as Warrior, Valkyrie, Wizard, and Elf and challenging the Gauntlet, you’re in for a real treat. Arrowhead’s expansion to them is very worthy! Each possesses nods to their original concept. Merlin’s spells are an absolute joy to wield, and though the others have less to work with, there is elegance in their designs. All are solid, and all depend on player skill and improvisation.

TLDR: Highly recommended, good fun in single player or multiplayer and ok for people who get motion sick from fps or moba style games.
If you’re thinking of getting this game, first thing I suggest you do is look at some gameplay on youtube. I have an indepth overview and review with gameplay here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQe6N-Bjjfo (hour long) and Zerohill has an awesome 20 video playlist you can see here https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEg-yDRmLEZ1F0zYiE14ciggS71YnssXX

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Complete Edition
I went into this game being cautiously optimistic. I trusted that Suda51 wouldn’t give us an unenjoyable experience, but I also didn’t expect it to have a riveting story or captivating narrative. I was sorely mistaken.
Gameplay: It’s an overhead beat-em-up that has more depth than people typically give it credit for (more options and mechanics than NMH1), but the leniency of the game’s difficulty and level-up system discouraged people to understand it beyond a simplistic level. Like an in-game character suggests, you can try getting through the game without leveling up. See how far it gets you, as this way of playing heavily encourages you to learn the timing and setups against particular enemies.

I strongly recommend this game. I’ve been waiting the PC release for a bunch of time but eventually, it’s here and i’m so happy to play it and having so much fun trying to complete every achievements. I am a big fan of the No More Heroes series and Grasshopper Manufacture games in general terms but this game can easily be enjoyed by anyone liking wacky games, symbolism, challenge and the beat them up genre.
