Let’s Cook Together

We love this game!

The mechanics are very unique and funny.

Throwing food around in panic while stuff on Your stove is burning, not realising, that Your partner has no free hands and the food just lands on their head… good moments…

We laughed and yelled so much while playing this game.

The graphics are nice and fun, the gameplay is quite challenging yet fair.

I very much hope, that there will be more restaurants in the future.

Very addictive!!

If you like playing overcooked with your significant other (or 1 other buddy) you are going to absolutely love this. I can nearly garantuee it.

Dishes (and the order in which they appear) are not randomized. So, it often feels a bit more fair than overcooked because it is pure skill and does not involve the roll of the dice.

Biggest con?

You can only play with 2. No way to play alone unless you want to somehow play with 2 controllers at the same time. And also no way to play with 3 or 4. Which does feel like a bit of a wasted opportunity.

Wild Honesty: A party game for deeper conversations

Wild Honesty: A party game for deeper conversations

Do you want to connect better with your friends, family, partners? This is the game for you. It opens the floor for conversation and getting to know one another. Having played this with some intimate friends, it left us spending hours discussing our lives, our pasts, and a lot of other things we never likely would have broached. Come to the metaphorical table with a mindset of vulnerability, and you’ll come out learning a lot about the people you’ve played with.

Could use some more questions, but I figure the developers will update over time and add more as time goes on. I don’t know if the questions repeat, but it’d be good to be able to mark questions as answered. Maybe have a mode where it’s a ‘saved game’, so it remembers what you’ve already answered and what you haven’t. Multiple save game slots would be good, to play it with different people/groups.

Really enjoyed it, actually and looking forward to seeing where this goes and if there’s any additional questions as time goes on with a patch or some sort. The guessing questions are good for losen up the mood if anyone doesnt feel like talking, etc. But the questions are really good prompts to reflect and chat with others. You might not play this game with strangers but its great to play with people you know and its good to sit and discuss these questions.

I Really love the concept actually.

This game is beautiful. I was immersed every second of it and it gave me the feels.

Playing it with a best friend or someone you’re very close to hits on a whole different level.

It’s one of the best experiences I’ve had so far, it makes me crave more games like this.

If you have a close friend and you’re looking for something to co-play together, this will be a wonderful time for you.

Awkward

Awkward

A really solid and well-made party game, it’s like a piece of art in my steam library.

  • Haven’t encountered a single bug/glitch

  • Fun, entertaining and trippy artwork

  • Clean user interface

  • Great sound design

  • The way the gentleman pops up and says “Awkward!”, is a really nice touch

  • Native controller support, which is something that can be overlooked in these sorts of games

  • The “super awkward” update essentially sorted out the only issue the game had, which was the wait for round 3

So what is Awkward?

It’s a simple yet addictive opinion guessing game. It’s fun with a friend or partner but should be most fun in a group where you try to do better than the others. I found the comparison with the “rest of the world” to be less interesting than I had hoped, so I can’t really recommend playing solo.

Final verdict: Wait for a sale!

Strongest point: A game in your steam library you can play with any person. Plus: Geat artstyle.

One of the nicest Co-op indie games I’ve played recently!

I’m an indie game reviewer so as you can see I’ve played a lot to take a deep look into this title. My first impression is that this game would be a casual co-op for 2 players that fight viruses in human body. But there is so much more. I will try to review this game without spoiling all the fun.

1. One of us RAGE QUIT sometimes.

I’m lucky enough to have my close friends to test out this game for me. It took us some days to finally reach the final stage of this early access stage. However, this game will challenge you and your close ones how good you are at communication, EMPATHY & PATIENCE. YES! We can never break this game without sitting with each other for hours and thinking about how we can over come the obstacles.

Real player with 14.1 hrs in game

This is a really fun co-operative game to play with a friend in which you rely on your communication skills to advance together, you can not play this alone.

To keep it as simple as possible, one of you has been shrunk and sent inside the body of a cat.

your job is to describe every detail of the virus to the other player, who is the scientist, so that they can make a vaccine to eliminate the virus. The scientists job is also to guide the scout across the map to where the virus is, theres a lot of multi tasking involved for both parties, you can also switch roles with each other whenever you please.

Somny & Yawn: Dream Detectives

Somny & Yawn: Dream Detectives

Somny and Yawn is a fun little two hours romp you should try out with a friend. The game really has a lot of charm in it’s presentation; my favorite feature was the dialog music changing along with the character’s emotions. The game is pretty janky and lacks polish in mechanical aspects, especially the end minigame where you have to prove your case, which has the right answers and wrong answers completely mixed up and is really broken because of it. Still, it’s two hours, it’s free - there’s a lot worse for a lot more on steam

Real player with 1.9 hrs in game

Love the idea and the possibility to play at the same time without being in the way of each other with annoying splitscreen. Would have loved more difficult puzzles to force more interactions between the two detectives so we have to talk to each other to progress and find the next hints.

Sadly, it is too bugged and we could not finish the first level. Would have loved to try the whole game.
