INDIE FANTASY LOCAL MULTIPLAYER GAME FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY, SET UP ON THE WORLD OF ETERNALIA
Two games in one; Classic Arcade mode and First Person Medieval Shooter. There might be a third mode coming if you people like the videogame; a party RPG, integrating the story of the Essence Reaper Ritual with the mechanics of this videogame. You decide!

Local multiplayer fantasy game, for 1-4 players, sharing same screen.

A First Person mode, following the same campaign than that of the Arcade mode.

An Arena mode; gather your party, venture forth and face five waves of enemies, each wave of increasing difficulty.

5 different characters, each one with their uniques skills and combat styles.

Subttile and menus in three different languages; English, French and Spanish.

Beta version will have one full playable level. As we move forward, up to 4 more leves will be added.

Each level is set up in a different atmosphere, with different enemies.
The idea of creating this videogame came in when spending time with our young family members (e.g. nephews and niece) playing a videogame. It should be easy to play, not too many buttons, yet plenty of fun. We are scripting from the very beginning everything to accommodate three languages; English, French and Spanish, so the videogame will be available en those three languages.
We just give you for now a video and a couple of screen capture of the first tests.
We are thinking on adding a script to be able to import your own pictures to the game, so instead of having the 4 portraits of each character, you may import yours. I bet my niece and nephews would love that.
Alpha version of the videogame, actual game play, is working well.

LOCALISATION
I have been integrating different languages from the very beginning of programming / development. I use Dialogue System from Pixel Crushers which allows easy integration, and for specific short texts as in the Main Menu, I have just hardcode it. Once you choose a language, Dialogue System keeps / save that info for the entire videgame, so upon load an scene, Dialogue System load all previous saved data including language chosen.

Small co-op station game.
1 submarine, 2 players, 4 stations (steering, weapons, scanner, smelter), 1 level. essential, this feels like a minimalist version of Catastronauts that is also less exciting. You navigate the deep looking for keycards and scrap metal while fending off laser sharks, and when you enter the enemy base, it turns out they’re in another castle, and the game ends. Mind you, the concept isn’t that bad, and if the devs had put some effort into making a campaign and different enemies, it could be a lot better; but as it is, If you want to do couch co-op, I recommed springing for a better game that has more variety.

Space Debris
This is a great party game for rock-blasting retro space fun. I love the drop in/drop out feature and the massive number of gamepads supported.
There’s also a bit more to it than you might expect:

Love it!
The smooth movement this game offers got me really hooked. Co-Op mode is super fun and offers a nice variety of levels which make great use of the dash mechanic. I also enjoyed the singleplayer mode, great place to practice your dash skills and hunt for highscores :D Lovin' the pixel art and music too!

I had lot of fun playing this game so far! Its dashing mechanic is simple to learn but really fun to master! You’ll want to try over and over to beat that stage in the best way possible.
If you’re looking for some good local co-op game to play with your friends and family, look no further!

Escape Game Fort Boyard
This is a big improvement over the last game with more games included. I recommend it. I like the Boyard Party mode and there is nothing i dislike about it.

The concept and core gameplay of this game is fantastic and the presentation is super smooth. That said, the lack of content is really fatal for any hope that I could recommend this. You get to the final level really quickly. Another review said 5 hours but I’m pretty sure it took me much less than that. After that all you have to do is to try and get a high score on a very boring endless mode. I stuck with it for a long time but that was mostly because of how easy it was to pick up and the fact that I had very little else to play at the time. It’s kind of felt like drawing blood from a stone ever since I beat the final level. For this price point there’s loads of other puzzle games you can get that have far more content in them. Albeit none of them scratch the same itch this game does, which is why I’m honestly more disappointed than I ordinarily would be. If they released a substantial expansion to this game to add extra content it might be worth it, but as it stands you’ll get bored pretty quickly.

This game is very similar to a free mobile game called Ballz (I don’t know which came first or if Ballz was an original idea anyway, but whichever of the two came second was either drawing direct inspiration from the other or they are both drawing from an earlier inspiration), but I think it justifies its cost because just about every difference between it and Ballz is an improvement. The rounded corners allow for some level of strategic skill shots while still being pretty chaotic, and the way that some pieces will fall if the piece below them is removed adds a layer of strategy as well. It doesn’t take very long to buy out all the upgrades and reach the endless level, and the upgrades aren’t wildly interesting; I think the simple gameplay is sufficient, but it almost makes me feel like the game should’ve skipped the whole phase before you have all the upgrades. The one quality of life improvement I wish the game had is a faster restart after you lose (or even win), since all the ui animations etc. you see (and especially watching your collected gems move to your wallet) feel like they detract from the pick-up-and-play, arcadey immediacy of the game for me.

Double Dragon Trilogy
At this point in the history of the franchise, you either “get” Double Dragon, or you don’t. This is a side-scrolling beat-em-up in it’s purest and simplest form. You can punch, kick, jump, jump kick, and do a scant few other moves. The enemies you’ll face all have personality, but it’s of the behavior-based variety. The game is challenging, particularly on the Original and Expert difficulties, but can be finished in a short amount of time… even shorter if you become particularly skilled at the game and the nuances in it’s play.

In theory this collection should be a great experience. That’s what I thought when I booted it up. As soon as I tried to adjust the resolution, the game proceeded to crash, forced me to verify files and turn off my virus protection as a content lock occured.
Once I got it back up and running with controls set comfortably on my 360 pad, it worked well. Well enough for what feels like a lazy attempt to wrap three arcade roms into a stand-alone executable.
The Time and Score text overlay is really weird and doesn’t mesh well with the rest of the visuals. The options feel kind of barebones, there’s no intro videos or explanations or anything for any of the games, nothing. People coming into this without knowing about the games will have no idea that you can do super moves, like hitting punch and jump together in DD1 for the game-breaking backwards elbow. Or how DD2’s controls are odd. Or how you can flipping run in DD3 by double tapping move (the previous two games didn’t have it, so unless you did this by accident how would you know?).
