A-Star Theft
What a fun game. Combine Hotline Miami, Payday and Superhot and you have this. The levels get tough pretty fast, the story is a bit generic but true to life for low level criminals trying to make a big score. I played the demo for around an hour before committing to buying this. Really enjoyable, fast paced and very rewarding game play. Only a few missions into the game but loving it.
The weapon system is excellent, you can’t have 5+ guns like some games, it runs off a credit system. The credits represent free inventory slots. With this system it makes you think about your approach, will you need more space for cable ties? Or will you go in with guns and explosives.

The game is a lot like Payday with a Hotline Miami Top-Down perspective, you do heists stealthily or not.
This offers very interesting mechanics compared to Payday, in particular the fact of being able to move the tied civilians and to hide again his weapon in order to remain stealthy.
I hope it will become more popular and evolve through updates.

I like this game concept, but you cant invert the mouse. so if you are used to playing FPS’s then you know that this is quite awkward. This is a FP game, and you would think that an invert mouse selection would be appropriate. very hard to play without it.

Ransack Raccoon
It’s a very cute, but sadly short game. I was confused at first as I had not played all the way through the first time, so returning to the game I was disappointed that there wasn’t any progress saved- until I realized it was meant to be a one shot play-through game. I think this game honestly has some great potential to branch out into a full length game. Getting around the security lights proved to be more challenging than I had expected it to be, and it was a rather endearing little adventure, but I would love to see a sort of story line put into play as well as some more challenging levels with perhaps power-up options.

Hyde and Zeke
Please. Read this entire review before you come to a conclusion about whether or not to try this game & remember that most of the following complaints come from the last mode, Sage mode, & all my losses were mostly my fault. While the RNG is either the worst or most noticeable in that mode, I got impatient & left my cover when I thought I had enough time, so a lot of my rage was self-inflicted.
As problematic as this game will sound, as awful as I’m going to make it appear, please understand that it functions perfectly fine & is still a product of effort, clearly seen in the art & AI.

Veneficium
I’m a pretty big baby when it comes to horror and the game did a really nice job at getting me scared enough to have a lot of fun. The atmosphere is on point, it falls short on it’s AI however, I noticed the monster teleport, both me and the monster could occasionally phase through trees and rocks which is a shame because it instantly takes me out of the immersion that was so well set up. I feel like there is something lacking with the spellcasting, the lack of animation or really just any sort of magic particles that don’t completely blind me (looking at you shadow-step) dissapointed me. it was short and sweet I liked exploring the world, trying to avoid the creature while I watch it in the distance, and collecting plants (even though I feel like this forest has more than a couple invasive species with how much muckweed there is) I had a lot of fun

The introduction for the game was good, I liked the map layout and the general look of the entire area along with the tree branches that heavily imitated the enemy. However, there wasn’t really a creation of atmosphere to me because although the models of the creature was good, it didn’t feel creepy due to what felt like a very fast walking speed for what appeared to be a slow monster that would loom over the forest floor as it hunted you down. It also seemed too easy to avoid the enemies as you could mindlessly crouch walk throughout the forest and they seemed to barely come near you due to the wide area given for just one creature.
