Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered
Pros:
Humor is on par
Graphics are decent
Very good story
High replay value
Easy to learn hard to master controls very reminiscent of the Metroid Prime series
Cons:
The only cons i experienced are both related to the difficulty but oh boy they will definitively tarnish your experience
First, the difficulty in-game is absolutely inconsistent you’ll blaze through most of the level and then die 20 times at that one part and only through ridiculous luck will you get past it (Attack of the Stone Angels for example) the difficulty is a flatline most of the time and then spikes into the obscene

Miner Gun Builder
I enjoy being able to have a second account on my PC to really get to go through the entire early game, it’s pretty fun especially since I know basically all the tips and tricks beforehand lol. But to newcomers, this game can be very confusing with descriptions in some places or some things may not entirely make sense so I HIGHLY recommend joining the Discord server to be able to ask any questions to us (I am Fwuffy Doge). :3

Works as advertised - a surprisingly deep and fun game to just run on the side while doing other stuff. And then you get a new ship and you don’t even realize it took your full attention for an hour. So many details to optimize:
-Raw Damage
-Number of projectiles
-Bullet trajectory
-AOE
-Piercing
-Bouncing
-Critical chance
-More I’m forgetting
And that’s on top of the maze you have to create in each ship to get from the projectile generator over to the gun points. Good stuff.
Admittedly, the UI definitely needs some work. The game itself is almost a puzzle that you unlock as well as you get further, the captains, the endless missions, the random new weapon slot you forgot you can unlock by scrolling down more.

Stars Force
Its a very barebones shmup where you’ll max out your weapon quickly and see everything the game has to offer in a couple levels. You can beat the game in about 40 minutes. Its not really a bad game, but it just gets repetitive quickly as the levels tend to feel like I’m on a conveyor belt and a lot of the sections repeat over and over. Boss fights were decent though, wish there were more of them.

Its actually quite fun
-
upgradeable weapons and equipment
-
campaign mode with 30 missions
-
sniper rifle is always a plus
-
acceptable street map
-
reminds me a little bit about counter strike
Negatives:
-
only 1 map in the whole game
-
the AI is bad
-
repetitive missions
-
the sniper rifle is unlocked after level 25
-
a lot of bugs
Well this was a positive surprise.
Ive had a good time, even with the problems it has.

Tea For God
Tea For God is a VR adventure that uses impossible spaces with procedural generation to allow players infinite movement within their own place. Customizable gameplay can be anything between a relaxing long walk, an intense arcade shooter (checkpoint based) and a roguelite shooter-explorer.
In the distant future, humankind has been united, ruled by God Emperor. Endowed with advanced technology we reached stars, colonised new worlds, went onto endless crusades against myriads of civilisations.
Personal tragedies tend to be meaningless against the time. But once in a while, one person may start a fire that can change the fate of the whole universe. A man who lost his family, who holds God Emperor accountable for their death, seeking answers and vengeance, embarks onto his last journey to the place no human has ever left alive, where God Emperor is believed to reside.
Key features
-
Use your own feet to move, no teleporting, no sliding.
-
Adjusts to your play area, no matter how small or how big it is.
-
Customize your experience, make it as easy or as hard as you desire.
-
Two main modes: arcade - easy to understand and focused on adventure and roguelite - where you explore devices you find on your own.
-
Procedurally generated world with a linear story with handcrafted key scenes.
Impossible spaces
Tea For God utilises the concept of impossible spaces, a Euclidean orbifold. The world is composed of spaces that overlap each other making it possible to travel through a big world, while never leaving your play area.
Procedural generation
It’s the procedural generation that makes many things possible. To fully utilise impossible concepts, the game generates the world to fit within your play area. The procedural generation doesn’t stop with there. Almost everything you see is created with the use of procedural generation, carefully created algorithms that generate robots, how they look and move, devices, weapons and more.
Play area
As the game adjusts to the available space, there are some minimal requirements. The smallest space handled by the game is 1,80m x 1,2m (6ft x 4ft). If you have less than that, the game will use horizontal scaling to make the world appear larger, bringing the minimal space down to 90cm x 60cm (3ft x 2ft).
Customizable experience
There are two main game modes:
-
Arcade. With simpler gameplay mechanics, easy to understand, navigation that guides you to your current objective, with checkpoint system to allow, in case of a failure, restarting at the last safe spot (or restart the chapter).
-
Roguelite. Richer with gameplay systems that require exploration and experimenting to learn, permadeath, persistent unlocks and a world that at times becomes open, requiring you to find your own way. There is a save system that allows taking breaks and continuing the adventure later.
Besides that, there is a range of modifiers, which may make the game much easier (up to where you have infinite health and ammo and there are no robots, even the ones that do not harm you) or much harder (tougher, more aggressive enemies that are quicker to attack, no navigation aid and more).
The world and the story
As you venture further into the complex, you will listen to a recording that will introduce you to the world but will provide you with even more questions. For the answers, you will have to look alone. They won’t be given on a silver plate.
A-Star Theft
What a fun game. Combine Hotline Miami, Payday and Superhot and you have this. The levels get tough pretty fast, the story is a bit generic but true to life for low level criminals trying to make a big score. I played the demo for around an hour before committing to buying this. Really enjoyable, fast paced and very rewarding game play. Only a few missions into the game but loving it.
The weapon system is excellent, you can’t have 5+ guns like some games, it runs off a credit system. The credits represent free inventory slots. With this system it makes you think about your approach, will you need more space for cable ties? Or will you go in with guns and explosives.
– Real player with 2.0 hrs in game
The game is a lot like Payday with a Hotline Miami Top-Down perspective, you do heists stealthily or not.
This offers very interesting mechanics compared to Payday, in particular the fact of being able to move the tied civilians and to hide again his weapon in order to remain stealthy.
I hope it will become more popular and evolve through updates.

Always The Same Nightmare
Always the Same Nightmare Review
7.8/10 - Above Average
-
Good music
-
Fun gameplay
-
Good level design
-
Inconsistent graphics
-
Bugs & crashes
Playing through and 100%ing Always the Same Nightmare (ATSN for short) was a much more enjoyable experience than the developer’s previous game, Bloopy & Droopy. Both games are fun to play but I think ATSN is much more up my alley in terms of game design since I really enjoy faster paced, difficult games. I think on that front, ATSN nails it. It is a very fast, challenging game and it is very satisfying to overcome challenges.
