Save our four-legged friends!

Animal Shelter Simulator grants you the opportunity to tackle the challenging but also highly rewarding task of running a refuge for strays and rescues. Witness firsthand how much effort goes into helping abandoned and injured animals as you handle a number of tasks necessary for your shelter to operate smoothly.

Clean Them

Your rescues will need to take a lot of steps on the path to improved health, and good hygiene is the very first one. Get your hands a little dirty so that their paws stay clean and their spirits soar high.

Protect Them

There’s a bit of a wild side to every critter out there and it’ll be your job as a responsible caretaker not to let it break out in any nasty fashion. Manage the animals well and keep the peace among the residents of your refuge.

Take them for a walk

What better way to burn off all that excess energy than a good, old-fashioned trot out in the fresh air? Keep your animals stimulated and entertained. You can be sure they’ll be starved for attention!

Extend

As you succeed in your efforts, you will be faced with additional challenges. Make sure to turn them into opportunities as you invest in your facilities and expand according to your growing needs.

Convince them

The ultimate purpose of your initiative and the most rewarding conclusion to all of its efforts – when an animal makes its way to a brand new, loving home. Look after your rescues and ensure they are adopted by your shelter’s visitors.

Wobbledogs

I don’t write reviews often, but this game is fantastic and I hope it gains more attention. I saw someone create an animation about this game, and I’m so glad I decided to check the game out. It’s simple but very calming and fun. Not to mention, it’s being updated pretty often. Also worth noting that the community in the discord server is very kind, willing to help out on anyone struggling to get achievements, and answer questions.

To The Rescue!

To The Rescue!

TLDR: I’ve quite enjoyed this game so far, worth the thumbs up, but there is room for improvement. Give it a go if you’re a fan of organization and multi-tasking, but be mindful that eventually at some point, sooner or later, the challenge fades away. The game lacks consequences.

Strap in lads this is gonna be a long one.

This is my first review of any game ever, nearly 50 hrs deep, I feel pretty divided on this game. I really have enjoyed it and I can’t wait to see where the developers will take the game from here. Yes there are bugs, but I do want to say you guys have been so prompt with updates and fixes, what felt like after the weekend the majority of bugs I was experiencing had been completely fixed. We went from nearly unplayable because the game simply ceased to function whenever I spoke to anyone to the worst, but probably funniest, being today helplessly dragged along with the newly adopted puppy by a old woman out into the carpark. Understandably bug fixes and crashes come first, but in the long run will there be any major changes to the game play itself? Or will it remain as is? Either way Devs you guys are amazing and keep up the great work!

My save file shows a time of 6:37 and steam 14.2 - and I feel like I have no reason to play anymore. I really wanted to love this game but it’s just too..aimless? short?

I was completely addicted to it during the demo, where the limit was 5 in game days! Don’t get me wrong, despite everything, I enjoyed playing the game. But at present I’d only recommend it at a larger discount unless you’re happy to play endlessly without any real goal.

I’m a really goal orientated person when it comes to games like this - if I don’t have a story-based task, or I’m not trying to unlock something useful, if there aren’t any meaningful objectives/level progression then I lose interest. There’s no difficulty increase or anything like that, if anything the game only gets drastically easier. The Mayor stops coming by after you complete her tutorial-esque tasks and apparently comes back at week 9 with an evaluation report. I’m on week 5, and I’m kind of too bored of the game to worry about seeing said report - I stopped playing.

My Exercise

My Exercise

I really like the graphics of this game as well as the phenomenal gaming experience it offers. it’s a very well-built game , with smooth mechanics and also a really nice storyline. I like the fact that it’s not only complex , but also simple. it’s dry , but wet . it’s colorful , but monochrome. it provides a really good time for you and your family. If you’re dealing with the big sad you need this game in your life. I have almost killed my pet cockroach before i found out about this game. I love it eternally and i will worship the My Exercise gods every day from now on. I adore this game so much and i will forever be grateful for finding it.

This game tells the noble story of a young boy, Akashi, as he copes with the loss of his father to a tragic accident involving the menagerie upon their lord’s estate. Akashi spent much of his free time exploring the lives of the various animals and getting to know each one. He loved their company, valuing every minute of the warm and wacky interactions they often presented him with.

One day, his father (who was the caretaker) slipped and unexpectedly fell into the bear tank. Unfortunately, the bear was startled and scared by the man’s sudden presence, and reacted with swift, instinctual retribution. In reaction to his caretaker’s loss, the wrathful lord set out to dismantle the menagerie and sell it off, piece by piece. Crushed by the loss of his father, Akashi simply could not bear to lose his animal friends as well. So he did anything a reckless 10-year-old boy might do: he released the animals and ran off with them.

Veterinary Clinic Simulator

Veterinary Clinic Simulator

Diagnose your patients

In the Veterinary Clinic Simulator, you will not be led by the hand. Based on the animal’s behavior, you will have to find out for yourself what is wrong with your patient. Often even a simple and obvious case may turn out to be an unprecedented illness.

Choose a treatment method

After a successful diagnosis, your next goal will be to find the right treatment for the injury you have previously detected. Just like during the examination, also, in this case, you have full freedom in approaching the treatment for all of your patients.

Remember, not all injuries can be healed right away, sometimes you will have to look after a sick animal for several days.

Upgrade your clinic

To cure more exotic animals or more complicated diseases, it will be necessary to purchase the appropriate equipment.

With the money you earn, you will be able to upgrade your clinic in any way you want. Choose the right equipment and decide where to put it.

Handle random events

In addition to dealing with your daily duties, you will have to deal with all sorts of random events. You can ignore them or try to help everyone. It is only up to you how you approach them. Remember, you are doing all this for the good of the animals!

My Little Dog Adventure

My Little Dog Adventure

Game is quite encouraging as it provides dogs pop(and I haven’t experienced it before) with simple, but good graphics. I noticed that I didn’t pay much attention to the story and sounds, but I would say that they are good

Real player with 9.5 hrs in game

Really poorly made.

*all levels have flat lighting, endlessly copied environments with no distinctive landmarks, several dead ends that look like they should be the way forward.

*levels have holes in them you can see/fall through, invisible walls everywhere

*cursor is always on screen (this is a common amateur unity problem)

*no ambient sound, game is eerily silent

*awkward dialogue “I forgot my keys this day”

*voice acting recorded on someone’s pc microphone

This plays like someone’s first unity game they made over a weekend using store-bought assets. I would return it but my 6-year old played for 2.1 hours which puts us over the 2 hour limit. I would be more lenient if the price was $1

The Good Life

The Good Life

Just to play through and do the main quest… eh it’s alright. Quirky but it’s fine, just play it then go do another game and forget it ever existed.

To get invested in and mess around? Hell no lol.

From release this was a janky mess of game-breakers and softlocks. The biggest of which was at least patched out (storage).

The content of the game is entirely just “go get this” with everything a convoluted web of ingredients upon ingredients of which everything is a rare drop except meat. Little to no emphasis nor encouragement when it comes being a photographer. Even with thousands of followers, keeping up with the trends on Flamingo barely gives you a few hundred a week so it’s not worth the effort when you could be running around hitting rocks or getting your daily time trial allowance.

Kickstarter backer here, so my review shows as a CD Key review, and will not count towards the overall review score.

That out of the way…

recommending with some serious caveats.

It’s a SWERY game, but not a ‘typical" SWERY game.

Weird, messy, a bit sloppy, a more Eastern POV and stereotype of life in the UK and the West.

Kb/m controls are quite clunky. Controller is better, if the game and Steam recognize your controller (PS4/PS5 recommended- the game seems to reuse towork properly with my XBox One controller).

STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town

I will say this~ As a die-hard HM weeb

With only 40hrs put into this game and only on “Autumn” Xseed has done a fine job with keeping the Harvest Moon franchise alive and ongoing. I love that they keep some of the same elements from the earlier games.

Pros: The graphics are beautiful and the characters are way better than Xseeds “SOS” where everyone looks the same. You have more personality with these new characters and they’re all so bubbly and cheerful and have their own unique dialogues. I do hope in the future that MORE Harvest Moon games will be coming out on the pc as I lack a newer Switch. Thanks for catering to the PC master race Xseed. Natsume has lost me in its very weak and un-immersive graphics. The animals are adorable everything about this game is amazingly fun and there’s so much to do the repetitiveness does not get “boring” or “old” It feels fresh every time you do something even if it is the same thing over and over again. All the villagers literally like everything so finding an item to give them daily is not hard. You even have CUSTOMIZATION to your main character. This is by far the best I have seen and ever played from Harvest moon when it comes to that. The outfits are so pretty too and don’t even get me started with the animations when farming. They’re on the peak.

As much as it pains me, this is probably the first Story of Seasons title that I have to honestly say I cannot recommend.

There are some cute things about it, and some of the heart of the series is there, buried way way down in there, but honestly this feels like Story of Seasons is trying too hard to take My Time at Portia elements and falling so flat on it’s face that it tumbles right over a cliff.

First and foremost the balancing in the game is atrocious. Day 2 of Winter Year 1 and I had already beat the town development “main” story. Winter 23 of Year 1 and I was married to the bachelor of my choice. The only major story milestone left for me is to have the kid (which I have read ahead is an adoption thing regardless of hetero marriage status or not and that moderately irks me). After that it’s just little completionism, which at the rate I smashed through them in year 1 I don’t expect will take longer than the last Year 3 achievement.

Summer in Mara

Summer in Mara

Being up front the game has a lot of issues. It won’t teach you basic mechanics and it is very easy to get frustrated with quests due to a lack of information. There are some side quests that you are given that you cannot complete because you don’t have access to certain items yet. However the game never mentions that you will later get access to those certain things if you progress the main quest which has led to me looking everywhere for certain things only to learn that I have to progress the main story to gain access to them. While this isn’t outright a bad thing, I personally think it is poor game design to tell your players to get a certain item, while they don’t have access to that item yet.
