Alchemic Cutie

Alchemic Cutie

Alchemic Cutie is almost good. It feels aimless. The writing is a bit immature, the quest lines feels padded and there are way too many items - to the point that the world feels full of junk. There are also some loose ends design-wise which aren’t tied up, and several obvious bugs, such as the way text is displayed at times. Definitely buy on sale and only if you are really really hungry for a little sandbox farming game that is more on the gentle, aimless Animal Crossing / Slime Rancher side than on the more purposeful and rich Stardew Valley side.

Alchemic Cutie is not Stardew Valley. Probably unironically, it’s more Slime Rancher than Stardew Valley; but it’s more Graveyard Keeper than it is Slime Rancher! It’s more My Time At Portia than Graveyard Keeper and Stardew Valley but not more My Time At Portia than it is Slime Rancher.

Now that you’re confused, let’s talk about what I do and do not like about FetchQuest Slime Simulator.

This is one of those “I wish there was a Neutral Review option” reviews. I can’t bring myself to give it a negative review because I have had fun with it. When I was managing slimes, I was having fun. When I was doing what is the majority of the game, I was not having fun. The majority of the game is undoubtedly, fetchquests.

Hello!

I would like to say that this game is very fun to play. It’s still being developed but this game is very addictive. It actually helps calm me down.

The soundtracks, the vibes of the game are good. You can go at your own pace, do what you want with your Tavern and it’s very fun to play with friends!

I would 100% recommend this game to everyone!

Very fun little management game. I normally do not purchase Early Access games given that they tend to be pretty rough, but as this one stands (11/13/2021) I’ve put almost thirty hours into it without much hitch or problem. Highly recommend, love the art.

I spent the weekend absolutely obsessed with this game. A very simple premise, and incredibly charming in its own quiet way. There’s some real min-maxing depth available here, and lots of laughs (with the occasional heartbreak) in the physics. Highly recommended for those stretches of time where no other games seem to stick and you just don’t know what to play. You want to play this :)

15 hours worth of exactly what I wanted, I’ve maxed everything out, looking forward to full release! I paid 5$ for this, and easily would have paid 15 - 20$ for the alpha.

Not sure if a developer has ever read one of my reviews before but, things I would like to see in the future for A.G (also my initials, because were dope) are :

Relationship status with villagers - Increasing this would broaden the villagers desires and spending leeway. The amount you overcharge on an item would be in the formula for decreasing their relationship points. Levels of acquaintance could be titled. Pop up messages from villagers to convey appreciation or anger. “Damnit! I can never rely on you!” This may even end up influencing his battle outcomes.

I bought and played this game for about 5 hours on Alpha 2 until they updated it the next day with Alpha 3, and there were so many changes that it feels like a whole different game. The Alpha 2 version was fun if a little simple, but the update has made the game so much better in a lot of ways. It was like the developer could read my mind, they added pretty much everything I wanted to see in this game.

Overall, the game is a lot more fun and a little more challenging than it was before. If you enjoy collecting/harvesting items and crafting with them at a casual pace, then this could be a fun game for you.

Angry Putin

Angry Putin

Angry Putin feels like a low budget, extremely short version of GTA Russia - if Putin was the lead character that is…If you want to get drunk on VOTKA, VOTKA, VOTKA, beat people up fairly brutally and dance for 10-15 minutes for less than £1 then this will fill that void in your life.

Genuinely rather satisfying despite being rather basic and short. For less than £1 I think it’s worth it!

I love this game, and if you like games like Animal Crossing you will probably like it too.

It is a cute little game which allows you to help out ghosts by fulfilling the tasks they give you.

You also build a camp for yourself, take care of animals, harvest plants and flowers, decorate the island etc.

Everyday you get a few tasks and some things you can harvest, but after those are done you may have to wait till tomorrow to get new ones, so the game is more of a gradual story and a slow burn (which I like a lot because I do not have the time for major games at the moment).

A lovely game with interesting new ideas, stymied by poor design decisions that make it a chore. If you like Stardew Valley type games, and don’t mind the restrictions usually found on mobile, it could be for you.

Good:

  • Interesting characters, a slow burn unravelling of their stories

  • A nice ‘illumination’ mechanic whereby helping spirits each day lights up the area and enables resource harvesting. Feels rewarding and like you’re making progress.

  • Lots of outfits and recipes to collect for collector / crafter types

After putting more time than any man should put into this game i have not only completed the main quest line of talking to all the people but i have also found all 50 of the yellow orbs. I feel like i have transcended beyond human kind, I no longer require oxygen to breath, my heart pumps 4 times harder, my life span is now a century, i can move things with my mind and kill people with a single thought from across the world. I no longer need any other game in my steam library for entertainment. I don’t even play this game for entertainment it is now considered a religion for me and i shall follow in it to gain more powers. thank you Archor games for giving me this world altering experience to finally transcend my mortal life into a new and forming me into a god.

Littlewood

Littlewood

An ultimate chill game to keep your mind at ease, with an added bonus if you are in for countless exploration and adventuring. This game is at the best of both worlds.

Pro(s)

  • Lovely Pixel Art: Overall graphics are simple and awesome

  • Calming and Peaceful: Audio track induces really chill vibes, no stresss

  • Paced and Relaxed Storyline: Straight to the point storyline - The game revolves around you being the hero after defeating the dark wizard and rebuilding your very own town. As day passes in the game, there will be new variants such as new townfolks, town objects and items, depending on what you do in an in-game day. There is no rush into anything and you can take your time to figure things out (playing at a pace you like can essentially prevent grinding xD)

Real player with 66.8 hrs in game

I really enjoyed the beginning of the game and the progression, up until a certain point. I’d still recommend the game, but with some caveats. There are some really nice positives, and most of the negatives have to do with how the game fizzles out towards the end.

Pros:

Design: Cute and simple. I like most of the designs and the art.

Progression: Good feeling of progression at the start. The number of things you can upgrade and work on make the beginning of the game feel nice in terms of making progress on goals.

Yogurt Commercial 3

Yogurt Commercial 3

Uniquely absurd fun, puzzles to delight, complete the missions, do side quests to sabotage, acquire bizarre items and clothing for your character.. You Will Enjoy! Taps into the sweet nostalgia and puzzle solving of early Sierra “Quest” games.. Ever desire to act in a Yogurt Commercial as an Undead Fireproof monk, only to vomit up toilet sludge on camera, then fumigate the studio with VX nerve gas?? Me Neither… but now i can’t stop THIS IS NOT A POINT AND CLICK - IS MUCH MUCH COOLER THAN THAT

Real player with 35.4 hrs in game

Yogurt Commercial 3 is really a game that caught me off guard. When I first saw the price I thought it was asking too much. However after playing for a few hours the amount of detail and passion thrown into this project is insurmountable. The developer clearly has a focus on making the game a fun experience rather than making something according to a template that will make money.

The developer has provided a bunch of different missions to test your puzzle solving skills and they range from reasonable to hilariously insane. I really must commend the developer for this game. The amount of things you can mess around with and play with is something I don’t see often in indie games. It really makes me feel like the developer wanted to create a unique experience for the player without just conforming to what they thought they had to do. I think nowadays it is scary to develop something knowing that people might hate it, especially in such an oversaturated market. This developer has nothing to worry about. Their humour and attention to detail has secured them a top place in my books.
