Margonem
Oh boy. This is weird to review. First off, this game is a niche Polish browser MMO. Lots of people on the original web Polish servers. Not so much here. As you can imagine, there’s not a lot of international players. Most people (who already played/still play the Polish version) are Polish. Not that it’s a bad thing, but the population is incredibly low.
For the game itself, it’s fun. It might be nostalgia speaking, as I played this game a lot when I was younger. Playing it now after so much time it’s still as it used to be, with some improvements in graphics and the UI.

Plusses and minuses in equal measure I think. But for me personally more on the minus.
Some of the plusses:
-
Simple and neat graphics.
-
Sandbox nature of the map is evident, and this gives a positive ‘adventuresque’ feel, which I like
Some of the negatives:
-
Text too small. Waaay too small.
-
Every other thing you want to do in the open world requires you to pop over to the Premium Store and burn a hole in your wallet. Don’t tag it as ‘FREE’ when it clearly isn’t - there is definitely a ‘FREEMIUM’ tag available I’m sure.

Curious Expedition 2
I’ve really enjoyed this sequel. I see a lot of criticism about bugs, art direction, and combat. Here’s my take on it:
Bugs:
Yeah it’s buggy, but it’s to be expected right now since it’s in early access. I was able to play the game all the way through. Some tips on impassable bugs I encountered: DON’T RUN OUT OF SANITY. When you do, you’ll get a tutorial popup telling you to rest/eat consumables, but you won’t be able to exit the screen. Instant game over and restart. Try and be diligent and stock up on lots of consumables so you never have to deal with that.

I really enjoyed this game. A lot has been changed and improved from the first game. It is a really fun challenge. I completed four complete campaigns and got all of the achievements in 145 hours of playtime. The value for the price is fantastic.
You begin by choosing a leader. As you progress in the game, additional leaders become available that you can use in future playthroughs. I changed my mind on my favorite leader a couple of times, so there are definitely options for everyone with vastly different strengths. The leader makes a big difference in the best way to approach specific expeditions, but it isn’t limiting options - you can still generally play how you choose with whichever leader you pick.

About Wanyan World
This is the Continent of Wanyan.
Wanyan, an enfeoffment kingdom lasted for thousands of years, though having enjoyed a long time of peace, is now at the brink of division. Its authority as a suzerain is declining, and its vassals are fighting against each other. Thousands of war is crushing numerous states and killing countless people.
Lu, a traditional military state, has developed into a first-tier power by annexing surrounding states.
The newly born Seven State Alliance under State Hong’s leading is at the confrontation against Lu. Meanwhile, it is appealing to more states to join it.
Between the two superpowers, there is the main stage of our story - Bo.
Bo was crushed by Lu’s sudden attack eleven years ago. Facing the irretrievable fate, King Kui chose to be a martyr for the fallen state, and the older prince Huang Zhu escaped to Hong in the south with the third prince. Since then, Bo’s land is under the control of Lu.
Eleven years later, to restore the state, Huang Zhu led an army to fight back by the chance when Lu garrison was not aware.
But since then, the threat of war and death is hanging over the coast of the East Sea.
This battle attracted all sorts of factions with each one’s purpose. Maybe this war of restoration is simply the beginning of a series of chaos…

OH MY GAWWWD!!! This game is PHENOMENAL!!! Wow, I don’t even know where to start. First of all, the representation is just amazing–the party members are predominantly queer and trans people of color, which was so special to me. I loved that the characters came in not knowing one another well and progressed to become such a beautiful family. I genuinely teared up during a lot of their backstories and found them all so relatable and beautifully written. The party was small, which left a lot of space to really flesh everyone out in a wonderful way. So story and characters get a 193/10.

I really enjoyed this game, I loved the art, especially Raina design. The characters were all likable and it was interesting to discover their story and what caused them to participate in this dangerous adventure.
Gameplay really hooked me, I kept on playing until the final boss, although it took me some time to figure out good strategy, but once I did, the game was much easier.
I had so much fun, I wouldn’t mind if it was longer. I’m definitely going to replay this, as I really want to defeat all of the Frost and I think it’s actually a great challenge.

Sanguine Melancholia
I’m really enjoying this game. Currently, though, I have one major complaint: I can’t figure out how to save! Please, help.
Edit: Got a tip on how to save. Thanks!

I had high hopes and high standards for Sanguine Melancholia, having played some of MollyAvast’s previous game, I Am Still Alive.
This game took my expectations and blew them out of the water.
Every party member eventually grew near and dear to my heart, I felt true anger and sympathy towards the villains. I had the pleasure of being able to stream this game on Twitch and absolutely had the time of my life, marveling at every small detail that brought so much life into the world of SanMelon.
The extras that are unlocked at the end of the game, as well as the small lore/interaction cutscenes you can unlock throughout the first playthrough, add so much to the game, as well. There are so many scenes I’d love to see between these characters which feel so real and genuine, and being able to watch them play a game of cards or hear about what they were going through before our story started was a real treat.

Bastard Bonds
Don’t get me wrong: I know what it looks like on the surface: an adult dating sim with rpg mechanics. But trust me, it is SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT!! Unbelievable depth in characters, worldbuilding, lore, and story, with complicated interactions and moral implications, this game stunned me with it’s intricate depth and detail, all against a backdrop of incredibly gorgeous pixel art and digital portraits!
-So, out of the way upfront: Yes, this is an adult rpg with some lgbt themes, made by a well-known lgbt adult artist. That said, it is largely not a factor in gameplay, most scenes are minimum T-rated, and the sexual content is not very explicit at all. I was actually surprised with how little sexual content was in game to proportion to how much gameplay and mechanics there was involved, and honestly the sexual content is so light and non-intrusive that it was almost never a distraction from the story or gameplay. Yes there is some light pixel nudity in some of the character models and monster skins, but much of it is de-emphasized in favor of focusing on plot and gameplay, feeling more like fan-service addons. I loved how, despite having such great art, the game creator was dedicated to creating a solid game experience over inclusion of overly-gratuitous sexual content.

TL,DR: Tactical RPG that doesn’t do much hand-holding (the tutorial really could be improved), has R-rated graphics even though they’re not the focus, but can really draw you in, reward you for tinkering with the skills, and even grab your heartstrings if you read into the lore, character and world interactions you can find in the levels. Common turn-offs: Pixel art, nudity, turn-based, sexual innuendo, lots of combat, implications and mild descriptions of heinous crimes.
Combat: 8/10. Turn-based, a little predictable at times, and there are some areas you can cheese enemies, but quite solid.

Actor Tycoon 2
I have enjoyed this game a lot, but please please please add more stuff to do otherwise replay value goes down. I am having a blast playing this game and loved the first one, but I really would like more to do.
– Real player with 13.6 hrs in game
The game has virtually no content and very quickly becomes repetitive. While there are a bunch of different countries they all play pretty much the same and the handful of events in game have no real impact on anything. If you’re just looking for something mindless to play while you’re listening to a podcast it kind of works but I wouldn’t pay more than 2-3 bucks for it.
