OH MY GAWWWD!!! This game is PHENOMENAL!!! Wow, I don’t even know where to start. First of all, the representation is just amazing–the party members are predominantly queer and trans people of color, which was so special to me. I loved that the characters came in not knowing one another well and progressed to become such a beautiful family. I genuinely teared up during a lot of their backstories and found them all so relatable and beautifully written. The party was small, which left a lot of space to really flesh everyone out in a wonderful way. So story and characters get a 193/10.

I really enjoyed this game, I loved the art, especially Raina design. The characters were all likable and it was interesting to discover their story and what caused them to participate in this dangerous adventure.
Gameplay really hooked me, I kept on playing until the final boss, although it took me some time to figure out good strategy, but once I did, the game was much easier.
I had so much fun, I wouldn’t mind if it was longer. I’m definitely going to replay this, as I really want to defeat all of the Frost and I think it’s actually a great challenge.

as a achievement hunter: the achievements for some reason didnt work… i played the game like 5 times reset it a bunch and did everything apart from downloading things to force it to give me the achievement but nether one popped its strange to me because one of my achievement hunter friends got it not even a 2 weeks before i started playing… but i cant make my set on other people i have to get the achievement… and if i cant get it… something broke which means someone else has to have had the issue… well i looked it up, and some do have a issue, some dont… no one knows how it breaks but everyone kinda irritated

this is and amazing way to show what some trans or other members of the LGBTQ+ community go through in there lives, i myself am transgender ans slowly giving up hope. but, to some extent i have gone through similar experiences as Hakuno with some level of bullying and hand being afraid of what others think and what they would say about me. i have been brought nearly to tears and felt sick about the bullying but i am very happy that Hakuno was able go through her transition and be much more happy about herself. it gives me some hope that myself and others can be happy someday, i’d say that everyone should play/read what struggles that Hakuno and others go through in their lives.

Loved it!! I’m surprised this game is free with how good this story is! I’m a Youtuber and I played this for my channel. It was such a good story with heartfelt themes, realistic trans representations, and an awesome cast of characters. It’s definitely worth playing for yourself as there are so many choices! There are some frustrating parts like a non-intuitive menu for turning down the sound and a cell phone screen size for the game itself. But that’s not something that should deter you from playing this! I recommend this game fully!

Background
Lore Finder is a modern queer reimagining of the cosmic horror genre, taking influences from the various games and literary works in the genre first inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, set in the latter half of the 20th century. It is the story of K.C. Morgan (a non-binary character) who is a Private Investigator turned Paranormal Investigator after the disappearance of their father, Richard Morgan, a professor and researcher at Boston University. Eventually, their search takes them to a mansion owned by the Wright family on an island off the New England Coast.
Once there K.C. discovers that the residents and staff have been horribly corrupted by some twisted occult influence, the only clues as to their fate, and the fate of their father seems to be found within scrolls, written on human skin, filled with dark forbidden lore so terrible that it may rend the very fabric of reality itself.
Matters become even more disturbing once K.C. begins to explore the basement. Evidence of terrible, inhuman experiments lie discarded next to twisted bodies and implements of torture.
Alone, and facing terror, madness, and corruption, not only all around them, but also within their very soul, K.C. must work their way through the mansion, risking death, madness or worse in an attempt to uncover what happened to the inhabitants of the mansion, and their father.
Glisten to your heart: The courage within you
Glisten to your heart is a gentle, relaxing game with some great advice. It has a great sense of humor (especially if you like breaking the fourth wall!) Altogether, it took me 4.5 hours to complete. This game is worth far more than its current price tag. Hoping to see more from this dev!

Welcome to Fallen London: a darkly hilarious gothic underworld where death is a temporary inconvenience, the rats talk, and Hell is only a stone’s throw away.
Thanks to an unknown bargain, London now resides in a vast cavern under the earth. Down here, the sun doesn’t shine, and Parliament has sunk into the Thames. Pendula Swing - The Complete Journey
Pendula Swing is a very beautiful game, and I really loved the way that it combined fantasy with the roaring 20s and how it delved into everything from sexuality and gender with datable male and female characters to disability issues and even class and race issues.
I think my overall problem with the game, though, is that it does so very shallowly. It touches on and represents all of these different and important topics, yet never really goes in-depth related to any of them. Additionally, character and relationship development also feels a bit more shallow as well, based on pick and choose sets of dialogue options that make said development feel more rigid and rote than organic. There are immersion elements and story development areas that could be stronger.

I was looking forward to this game and I really tried to like it, but I just can’t, in good conscience, give it a good review. The concept is great, but sadly, was poorly executed in this game.
Everything the dev tried to achieve with this game is just so half-a$$ed, to put it simply. It mixes American 1920s culture with a fantasy setting, but it doesn’t actually fully capture 1920s culture. It captured the essence and aesthetics of it that people like about it, but in reality, that’s such a small portion of what the 1920s were like.
