Amberial Dreams
In the long gone days of 2007, Amberial landed on the indie Flash gaming scene, and over the course of 4 games accumulated over 2 million players! 15 years later, Amberial Dreams brings the series back with a bang, boasting a brand-new engine, more contraptions than ever before, but the same basic premise: only two buttons to move, no jumping allowed.
The Avatar can only roll left and right, but that does not mean it can’t make impressive feats of traversal! Every surface in the world reacts to you and helps you gain momentum. You can get anywhere you want, as long as you don’t stop rolling.
Amberial Dreams features beautiful and diverse environments where its platforming action unfolds. From bright bubblegum skies to the deepest pits in which you are the only light source, all the way to biomes in which all color has been extinguished.

An interesting puzzle platformer, where the central theme of magnetism is well-integrated and explored.
Pros:
-
The concept of magnetism and co-operative play is exploited well.
-
Some interesting puzzles with a consistently increasing difficulty level.
Cons:
-
Precise platforming sections can be frustrating due to the lack of friction on some surfaces, especially on the later levels.
-
Story doesn’t really provide much of an incentive to complete all of the levels.
-
Main menu isn’t cohesive or intuitive.

Fun game with good mechanics. Some bits are tough but it doesnt feel unfair. Lots of levels both of solo and coop (you can complete the coop levels without a second player by character switching) so plenty of content so I would reccomend. Also a map creator if you’re into that kind of thing.
Only issue I had is that the last 2 achievements didn’t unlock for me when they should which is aggravating. Would love to have that issue sorted but until it is the game stays at a 7/10 for me.

Koala Kids
https://store.steampowered.com/curator/40795588/ for more reviews like this.
Koala Kids is a perfect example of how a few simple ideas can be expanded upon and create an amazing game. Koala Kids is a game that knows what it wants to do and does that brilliantly. It’s not trying to be a crazy difficult 2D platformer or the world’s biggest game. It tries to be a charming and engaging platformer that makes you think at times and is the perfect game to play at the end of a long day. The game introduces a handful of items that each have their own use, and the game does a fantastic job of introducing how to use these items and then builds levels that allow you to use these items with each other. The soundtrack for this game is phenominal as well, it honestly had me bumping my head throughout the duration of me 100% the single player game. By completing levels and collecting money you unlock things that slowly fill up the “hub” i guess with a koala band, a house, and a garden, and it adds so much charm to an already charming game. This game is absolutely worth your time, and I highly recommend it.

I mean, it’s koalas. Who doesn’t like koalas, huh? Unless they’re wet of course but you won’t encounter that in this game. In this game, there are only wholesome house-building, music-playing, society-saving florist koalas. ;)
I’ve got this game for half the price ‘cause I had a coupon, so why not give it a try? Oy me, I can’t believe I’ve spent 7 hours on this game! It’s actually kinda fun if you just want to chill. The puzzle part is not exactly challenging, so you can turn your brain off for the most part but I didn’t really even expect it to be - it looks like a game you could play with your small kiddo (and looking at the other reviews, folk does so and very much enjoys it). I got neither offspring, nor friends that I’d love to come over for a swell local coop experience right now, so I got my coop achievements along with slowly acquiring the knowledge of how to fluently play for both characters at the same time, cool thing if you ever wanna start playing the piano - and that’s a fair deal for those 70 eurocents or even the full price of €1.6!

N++ (NPLUSPLUS)
I played this game for over 60 hours on PS4, getting every achievement (currently the same achievements on both platforms).
Skip this first paragraph if you want to get straight to pros, cons, and opinion
N++ is a simple in concept minimalistic 2d platformer. Guide your character, the ninja, avoiding various traps, obstactles, and fall damage in search of riches. (gold coins scattered throughout levels). The ninja can wall jump and move in any direction. Every level has at least one door switch that opens a door to the end of the level. Navigate to that open door to finish a level. There are between 2000 and 2500 total official levels in three modes called Co-op, race, and solo mode ranging from easy/tutorial scaling up to the extremely challenging. All of these modes consist of episodes that have a pack of 5 levels together. As time passes in a level the score counts down. When that score hits 0 the ninja explodes and must start the level over. The time is additive in every episode. Collecting gold adds time. After beating an episode, it is possible to select levels individually. There are global leaderboards for every individual level and episode as well as friend leaderboards and replays for every best personal score. There is an in-game editor where players can make and play community made levels.

N has been a series I’ve followed since around 2006, where I would secretly play it during class. The game was pretty special back then since it was made in flash, yet it was so well made and content rich that it could of passed as a AAA title at the time. Flash forward to 2016 with the release of N++ and it still holds strong as being one of the best platformers out there.
N++ is the best version of N, being the most polished and content rich of the series, but what makes this game truely special is something that has existed since the first version of N, that being its very well executed movement mechanics. N was a game that focused purely on platforming, there’s basically no story, no abilities, no player gimmicks, no killing enemies (they’re are plenty of enemies to kill you however). It’s just you and your ability to run, jump and wall jump.

Cymatically Muffed
The good:
Lots of fast fun frenetic action, plenty of game modes.
Audio track is decent.
Good menus, extensive controls and customization.
Responsive, capable developer.
The bad:
Hard to see some items, visual style is lacking and can make things unclear sometimes.

I’ve played the local multiplayer several times with friends and have had a great time playing. The variety of game types and settings provide a lot of options for replayability. I can’t wait to play the campaign once it is released, especially since it can be played coop. Cymatically Muffed is reminiscent of older classics while still providing new and exciting mechanics of it’s own. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Fight The Dragon
Its been very seldom in my PC-gaming life that I have discovered a true gem of a game. FTD is such a game. I will break it all down into three parts: single player, online play ( multi-player), and creative. But first one thing that strikes me from the start: the graphic design of the game is such that it will ( or should) run on low-end computers. The visuals are, for lack of a better term- quirky. Its like a cross between Legos games and LBW with a dash of WoW.
*Single player- In single player you go to an “adventure” screen where you can bring up an incredible assortment of maps to play on. It should be noted ( im guessing here) that over 90% of the availible maps are created BY OTHER PLAYERS. This is both a blessing and a curse: Player-made content is wide and varied. You may get a great and fun map; you may get one that was obviously made by a ADD 12-year old.

If you are into Indie games and like Diablo or similar titles,
it’s definetly worth buying.
it’s a no brainer as steam sale, but also worth the full price.
I have seen some minor negative reviews, who seem to ignore, this game is an indie game.
So keep that in mind and don’t expect it providing features or graphics like a AAA-game such as Diablo 3, etc.
Also at the beginning, you should use the filter and only play well rated adventures.
The battle system is relatively simple, although the RPG-aspects regarding your character (stats, abilities) are probably as complex as the ones in Diablo 3.

LEGO® Indiana Jones™ 2: The Adventure Continues
Lego Indiana Jones 2 isn’t exactly a sequel but the entire India Jones movie franchise all in one, spanning all 4 films including the infamous “hide in a fridge to survive a nuclear explosion” scene. It was one of the first Lego games to feature quest hubs for all chapters to have as little backtracking as possible to unlock all secrets with alternate characters and features great art design and gameplay.
The only lacking part are the mandatory vehicle missions and contrary to the batman series and many other games within the Lego franchise, the vehicle sequences in Indiana Jones 2 really fall far and almost entirely off the grid. They feel grindy, badly designed and are highly repetitive, requiting the player to always destroy three waves of specific enemies while the rest of them keep spawning infinitely. They attempted to make it feel like suspense and momentum but ultimately failed in that endeavour.
– Real player with 117.0 hrs in game
It’s a good game, and it’s very unique compared to the rest of the LEGO games. Most levels last around 5-8 minutes, for starters, compared to the past were most levels averaged out like 15 minutes or so. Each “world” consists of 15 levels, 5 story levels, 5 “post-story” levels, which are levels you play after finishing the story levels, and 5 bonus levels. I really enjoy the post story levels because you get to come back to the level after you beat it with everything changed after what happened in the story level. Take for example if you’re playing a level, and something explodes near the end of it, when you come back, the level would be charred and burned from the explosion, which is super cool.

Ele-Mental
Its a tidy little game with a lot of fun challenging content, for the price there’s no reason not to pick it up and give it a go.

Great game, with endless hours of fun. Perfect for sticking on with a couple of mates around, or, sinking a few hours in on your own, trying to get those high scores!
Would definitely recommend giving it a download. Congrats to the developers!
