Simply put, it’s a great game. On your own it feels quite drab but together with people online and especially with friends, the games charm really shines.

I’m part-way through, and it’s getting tougher (trying to get par on level 39). So far this game strikes a nice balance of being challenging without being too hard. The par scores make you think about how to be more efficient while making it clear that there are savings to be had. The graphics are fun while being readable so you don’t feel overwhelmed by visual noise.

I’m digging it.

Fun little, sokoban-esque puzzle game.

The level designs are actually very well made, and really bring out the interesting interactions between the different mechanics. Really makes you have to think sometimes, especially when trying to beat the “Pony moves”(Dev highscore)

Super fun and chaotic! I could play this game all day! And I have at Gamescom 2019 :)

The look of the game is really unique. I am very curious about the single player and level editor, since I mainly played the multiplayer game in the demo and beta versions.

Can’t wait to continue with this version of the game.

If you don’t mind ruining some friendships playing through the very competitive levels, this is a must purchase!

The game’s just not that fun. The problem solving in the campaign feels like work from driving a clunky and overrealistic car while collecting crates and experimenting through trial and error to figure out exactly where to put parts and get through the track. Nobody plays multiplayer at all either, so free build is pointless without other people to play with.

I wanted to draw spontaneous tracks and goof around. All I got was a half-baked architecture lesson.

Hoplegs

Hoplegs

After spending hours playing the game and completing “The Peak” I have to say this is one of my favorite physic based platformers. The amount of times i’ve fallen and had to start over again was insane but Hoplegs had me coming back for more. There is a really gratifying feeling every time you get past a roadblock that you’ve been stuck on for some time.

The game will only continue to improve and add more content. Personally I can’t wait to see what is in store for the future of the game. (Maybe a Peak v2 who knows??)

Real player with 25.7 hrs in game

I am usually not a fan of games with very little room for error, but Hoplegs is absolutely the exception. What I absolutely love is that that there’s something for everyone. The learning curve is nice and steady at the start so players have the chance to practice getting used to the controls, but The Peak was tailored made for die hard fans of the rage game genre. The tutorials are straightforward, and the aesthetic makes it very enjoyable to continuously play, despite mistakes that put you back. I also LOVE that there’s a level editor available for fans to make their very own levels. Everything about this game makes the “suffering” you go through an enjoyable experience. I’m really excited to see the future of Hoplegs. 10/10

Slaughter League

Slaughter League

Slaughter League is a fast-paced multiplayer extravaganza that will pit you against up to 10 friends (or enemies!) in a daring race to the finish line. Will your skills measure up and help you take first place? Run as fast as you can (just watch out for those Tesla coils), jump as high as possible (but avoid the buzzsaws, of course), and slide your way to victory while dodging any spikes along the way. Now hurry, we need more lambs to the slaughter!

Along with a single-player campaign, Slaughter League features three core multiplayer modes. First is the classic race mode, where you can face off to see who can complete the course fastest, either in a single race or a series. Next is Outlast, where you’ll need to keep up with the randomized course as it moves along and try to be the last person standing. Finally there is Zombie mode, where an infected player attempts to zombify the rest of the competition and the last one alive (or at least, not undead) wins the round. After trying each mode, take a break from the competition and try out the stage builder before unleashing your twisted creations upon others!

  • Absurd Ragdoll Death Animations and World-Class Commentary – Being brutally slaughtered has never been this fun before!

  • Story Mode – Featuring 25+ thrilling levels!

  • Three Core Multiplayer Modes – Race, Zombies, and Outlast, each featuring a variety of maps and customization options for never-ending, blood-splattered fun!

  • 100’s of Unique Cosmetic Items – With nine different clothing slots, tattoos, and more to select options for, players have no shortage of ways to express their personality and individual flair!

  • Exciting Locations for Courses – Race on the Moon, in a volcano, deep in the jungle, or opt for the classic “Stadium of Death” setting!

  • 25+ Deadly Traps – Guaranteed to slice, dice, batter, splatter, shock and maim you and your fellow competitors!

  • Fully-Featured Stage Builder – Build and share your own courses with other players; You’ll never get bored with the course options available!

  • Fantastic set of Achievements – Can you earn them all?

WHAT THE GOLF?

WHAT THE GOLF?

WHAT THE GOLF is a “golf” game for those of us who hate golf. Really.

You don’t need to know a single thing about golf to enjoy this. It might even make you a bit sad if you love the real sport, since the game makes an absolute mockery of golf in so, so many ways that its almost criminal.

When you start the game, it looks deceptively like the real thing. You quickly realize that this is no ordinary golf… Everything you knew about the sport is thrown out of the window fast, as you progress through the levels. You would think that golf here was about putting a ball in a hole. You would be wrong.

What the Golf!

So casual you need to wear casual clothes to play it.

Easier to read review Here

It is official. Golf is boring! so a secret underground testing lab has been set up to make golf more interesting. Moving around the testing facility, you test different holes ranging from the bizarre to the ridiculous, all in the name of making golf fun.

The game straight up just doesn’t work. You can’t start the game without completing all 3 scenarios, however the 3rd scenario is broken so your unable to access the editor and other players maps.

After contacting the dev’s through discord they said they would quickly fix the bug… but from previous experiences with other games I highly doubt they will fix it anytime soon…

After bypassing the first bug, the workshop section for other players maps wouldn’t load making it impossible to play other peoples maps (without having to download them and install them into your own editor).

This is honestly one of the most amazing games I have ever played.

GAMEPLAY:

It’s a perfect example of how the principle “easy to learn, hard to master” should be implemented into a game. It only has a very limited amount of controls, only run, jump, reset (to start or checkpoint) and, in some levels, hook. That means you don’t have to remember much. Finishing the track at all isn’t hard at all (excluding the very last set of levels). But getting a time good enough to beat the gold medal (for beginners) or the rainbow medal (for more advanced players) gets very hard very soon. And even IF you manage to beat all normal tracks with the rainbow medal, defeat all your opponents in challenges and collect all the coins of the bonus levels in time, that doesn’t mean that the game doesn’t offer anything anymore. There is still an online multiplayer to play with friends or meet new ones. You can build your own tracks or play some of other members of the community. You can try to further improve your time on tracks to reduce your combined time of all tracks to get a better rank on the global leaderboard, or to get a top 10 time on a track, or maybe even a world record. Once you master all the little mechanics that might be hard to pull off, but save you alot of momentum and time when done correctly, you can spend countless hours grinding levels to get a better time. And when you think you got everything done, then someone finds a new mechanic, a new route or a skip, and it starts all over again.

As i have only put a few hours into it i have found that everything about this game is outstanding as long as your name isn’t nick.

1st off- the sound is outstanding. the different sound track alone make the game easy to play for hours

2nd - the levels at the end are alright, they could should be a little harder, after you play through them maybe 5 times there just no challenge left unless your name is nick

3rd - this game has a wonderful community and the dev’s are always willing to help you with any problem you might have and fix any glitches that you find. everyone is friendly and playful and as long as you are willing to put forth the effort it can be competitive unless you can’t take the fact that everyone is always striving to git gud then you better just stop with the main levels and build some for a while nick
