TrackMania² Stadium
The ultimate ghost chasing simulator.
(Disclaimer: My total Steam gametime does NOT represent my actual total gametime.)
TrackMania² Stadium is a 2012 arcade racing game, published by Ubisoft and developed by Nadeo, and is the sequel to one of the greatest racing games ever made, TrackMania Nations Forever.
For the uninitated, TrackMania is a high-speed arcade racing game, where lightning fast time trials take place in diverse and unique enviromments, chock-full with ludicrous stunts and gravity-defying circuits. The gameplay is extremely easy, yet hard to master, with even one minor mistake threatening to put you into a wall and end your otherwise flawless run, as you seek to shave off those precious milliseconds from your personal best.

This game is pretty ridiculous. It’s like the company asked a bunch of 4th graders to come up with ideas for a racing game, and this is the result. Wall rides, loops, huge jumps, crazy speed. It’s awesome.
That being said, the skill cap is infinitely high. Yes, it’s massively fun to go on a server and smash through a bunch of new tracks, crashing all over the place and hitting walls like they owe you money. And it’s worth mentioning that since the multiplayer is almost exclusively user-created levels, there are tens of thousands of maps to play. But once you settle in to a server and have learned the maps, then it becomes a wonderfully technical game about shaving off bits of time where you can.

TrackMania² Canyon
Trackmania 2 doesn’t offer a pushed calling mode, sensible tracks and stupefying gathering of available autos like other hustling titles. It has single-player substance, however Nadeo’s continuation isn’t wanted to be played alone. This is an establishment about sharing, about social event, and about dashing all through of this world circles in the wake of taking a snappy skip off an avenue lifted over a gap floor. It runs with a social occasion of force tracks, yet the certifiable delight of the redirection is picking through the get-together’s appearances and ricocheting into servers to go up against others for smart times. Certainly, even so not long after dispatch, there’s as of now a critical designate of substance there.

Well, my first ever review….
They’ve gone and fooked this game right up, after 200+ (i think) hours of playing i can no longer log in, apparantly my account’s email is wrong, when nothing has been changed, so i cant get a new password for my account, i load up trackmania to be greeted to a broken client screen which is blank. Which claims im not connected to the internet
Lets ask ubisoft support for help!
5 days later …. no reply…
lets go to ubisoft live help!
Sorry this isnt the right department, we only deal with connection issues, but this is a connection issue?… sorry but we cant deal with connection issues on live chat? (the f**k?)

Long Road
It’s kind of broken, it doesn’t make a lot of sense and it looks like an alpha for a PS1 game, but I really like it.
It’s a game about trying to guess where the invisible checkpoints are and trying to hit all the checkpoints as quickly as possible. The online leaderboards work and the relatively small number of players made it realistic for me to try to get the record for each of the ten tracks, which was fun since I’m usually not very competitive.
The driving feels good, or at least learning how to properly control the car is fun, and there are several cars to unlock, each with its own speed (I think) and handling (maybe). There are two modes, racing and drifting, and the cars handle differently depending on which mode you’re playing. All ten tracks can be played in both modes and there are separate leaderboards for the modes, meaning the squirrelly drifting controls can have speed records of their own.

It’s a long road for creating a good and enjoyable game
Horrible car race / drifting game.
- All achievements are for completing the 20 tracks. But it’s a pain.
Cons:
-
It feels like you are driving with a 3D modeled car on a freshly puked out lowres texture plain landscape
-
Sometimes there are trees and walls that make your car stop or partly flip over
-
Realism meh. Tho you have tire smoke but no interaction with the terrain (dust/gravel/grass)
-
There is no 3D Terrain (only at the game borders, but not relevant for the gameplay).

RC Simulation 2.0
I think that overall, at the moment, this is a pretty decent game. It’s in early access for a reason though…
It doesn’t have AI, or enough players for good multiplayer, so your stuck doing laps around the track solo. AI are currently being worked on at the time of this review, but aren’t in the game yet. You can still challenge yourself in “time trials” though, aka qualifiers.
The cars are amazing. I think devotid could still add a “soft touch” setting for controllers and keyboards, as it’s difficult to control 2wd cars. Other than that though, the cars look amazing, handle fairly realistically in my opinion, (ordered a usb dongle today for the real test) and have SPOT ON suspension movement.

Very fun Sim to play! I come from playing a little Mobile RC sim called Absolute RC Flight Simulator (it has alot of planes and copters/quads but there are a few boats and cars) its a decent little app for a little relaxation, thats why i wanted to get this game.
Pros:
AMAZING graphics/lighting effects
Controller Support and key binding is sooo helpful (virtually impossible to play properly with arrowkeys)
Ability to make your own tracks and post them on the workshop
and best of all:
a wide and possibly growing range of vehicals to choose from

This was my childhood game! I don’t play this game for more than 8 years. Still, i remember when it was completely free to play, i remember the fun i had with this game. I started to be extremely good at some point and my best friend, because of that, bought me TrackMania United as a gift. At the time, the game was selling for 40€ and we had just started our work/professional life. He bought me the game with one of his first salaries. It was everything to me. I managed to make alot of friends, find an amazing team and beat a quite amount of world records. I guess i will never feel what i felt with this game, ever again. I don’t know what’s the current state of the game but i guess that it didn’t change that much. If you’re reading this, download the game and have some fun bro!

Traffic City
If this is the Early Access version this game has LOADS of potential. To begin with you have a choice of vehicles to drive around a city which adopts a traditional ‘grid iron’ street pattern with a roundabout in the middle. On the whole the AI is quite good and precise and all the junctions which have them feature working traffic lights. Beware though: The steering left / right is a little ferocious if you keep the A / D or arrow = / = keys depressed. Fun / addictive / quite inspiring. I hope to see more from this game soon :o)

TravelRacer
This game is the testament for Human Endurance. How much are time are you willing to listen to the same annoying song for 2-3 hours. Knowing you get 2nd place you have to restart the entire race which each race can last up to 5-20 minutes. You’d probably be saying, “Oh how bad could it be.” Believe me, this is the worst 2.2 hours I have spent in my entire life. They should give this game to the military for mental endurance training.

D Series OFF ROAD Driving Simulation
It’s a game with huge potential. But it’s already so much fun, the physics system has it’s flaws but is rather good already!
The track creator in this game is one of the finest I have seen yet. You can create nearly endless things and just use your creativity and imagination!
The time-trial driving I find very entertaining on my self built tracks, sadly there is rarily anyone playing multiplayer.
I love this game and would only recommend it, eventhough the flaws it has, cause of the potential this game would have with more players!

Firstly i do like the concept. Secondly i do understand this is a one man show. However this title should NEVER have been released in its state. I cant even play it. My wheel wont work properly massive d3ad zone you cant dial out my pedals dont work at all.. the dev boasts great ffb yet with Thrustmaster TX and clubsport pedals there is NO ffb crap sounds and alot of gfx clipping. Put simply you pay $18 aud for an alpha release. And no refunds. I had high hopes for this as i really wanted to drive the trucks… guess ill have to wait for them to be added to dirt rally

Musclecar Online
This game takes me back to Indy 500 for the Atari 2600. It was so simple, yet whenever there’s competition, there’s interest. The trick is to run the race as efficiently as you can. It requires some experience, some experimentation, and some mental toughness to do it well.
I haven’t played this long, but I love that I can spend 10-15 minutes on this when I’m bored. Depending on how tough the competition is, I might spend more, or less. It’s perfect for people who don’t have a lot of time throughout the day to play a game.

Fun keyboard racer
Lots of car variations and unlimited player made tracks.
You start out with a bit of coin and two cars. You can use your coins to purchase other cars and/or variations of each one. There are also several tire choices for the variable track conditions to spend your coin on.
You earn more coins buy simpy turning laps, but you earn more when setting fast laps. So if you are within a certain percentage of the top time for the day, you are rewarded with coin. This is all sorted and tracked via the easy to use, in-game leader board. That said, earning coin is a bit of a grind at the beginning…not overbearing, but it pays to make smart purchases…you don’t want to be short on cash when in need of some rain tires. :)
