Camera Obscura
Camera Obscura is a platformer with an interesting mechanic, but some glaring issues when you’re going for 100% completion. If you’re not, it’s an ok game, but you’ll need some patience anyway. It has alot of unfair and unnecessarily annoying sections, that have not much to do with difficulty and platforming skills but are just plain bad level design.
- horrible collision detection with enemies. The hitbox is a box with always the same size, even though some animation frames make enemies very small, filling only a tiny spot in that box (slime’s fall animation, for example, for those how already know the game)

Camera Obscura, at face value, is a very simple game: you play as a girl with a camera, making her way through/up a tower towards the top. The story itself is fairly engaging (while not being the most important part of the game), and reveals itself through “mementos” - collectable photographs containing a piece of the story (if you collect them out of order, things might not make much sense; luckily, you can read all of the collected mementos from the main menu). What truly sets this game apart is the camera, and the mechanics behind it.

Intralism
Intralism is a rhythm based music game that requires precise and precision note hitting to get the highest possible scores and ranks for charts using the w,a,s,d or the arrow keys (can rebind them to anything you want in the options still). The game has a very steady community that makes charts for various genres like anime, blues, children, classical, jazz, rap, metal, rock and more so there is something for everyone. Charts range from easy to hard, slow to fast even one/two handed charts. There are community events for summer, winter, Halloween, Valentines day and so on that allow anyone to make charts then are chosen to be in the event that can get you special Steam inventory items and regular users can play the event charts and obtain event only items too.

Intralism
A fun rhythm game quite similar, but not the same as other Beatmania’ish games.
The circular layout can be hard to get used to, primarily if you are used to playing other rhythm games, but I believe it is much more pleasant to the eye and can result in more impressive maps/storyboards (while that is obviously up to the mapper).
Some pros:
There are official (==ranked) maps for various levels of skill and a diversity of genres available.
New official maps are (at the time of writing this) chosen every week.

Slime Research
With a myriad of cookie-cutter puzzle games Slime Research is a refreshingly unique. Although visuals could use polish, the game works amazing for an early release! The devs spent a lot of time on the mechanics, and it shows. Honestly I’m curious how they got the slime to feel the way it does
I think the map creator is neat, and some of the workshop maps are already pretty interesting

A one-of-a-kind puzzle game with a relaxing vibe and comfy gameplay. Incredible level editor. Fun physics. Thoughtful puzzles to solve using wires and logic gates, and it’s even more fun to build your own. Kind of reminds me of Glover from way back when.

Anime Play Life: Unlimited
I won’t recommend this game at all, I do admit it has a lot of potential, but in the state its in right now I won’t recommend it. \
-
You don’t get a tutorial on the controls and how they work.
-
The clothing are clipping
-
VERY limited character costumization options.
-
Alot of weird advertising about a “Special version” download which is nowhere to be found at all.
-
No character facial expressions, such as smile, shock, suprised or happy.

I think there is a lot of potential for this game but how it stands right now, it is not very good. The character customization was bare bones and I had to back out of character customization and reenter just to get the menus to go away so i could hit continue. Once in the game, there was no prompt to let you know what button was used for interacting. I hit numerous buttons and clicked multiple times and still could not interact with anything. Until the game advances, worth the money.

Dance Collider
Game provided via the Steam Curator program.
Dance Collider is a VR rhythm game.
There are a couple of games of this genre already so how does Dance Collider stand among them? I believe it’s one of the best. I’m having a lot of fun while playing it, unlike other rhythm games moves here actually make sense which makes it even more enjoyable. While in Beat Saber you are forced to make random erratic movements trying to hit the boxes(let’s face it people who make custom songs there have no idea what they are doing), here in Dance Collider your movements are much like dancing. You are punching nodes by the rhythm of a song/tune. The visuals are wonderful, not too much on the eye and not too little. Despite me not being fan of dubstep and modern electronic music I do think the sound effects and the music included are excellent to get your groove on. What makes this even better is that you choose characters which act as your opponent. Each of them has unique style and has different tunes. Movement is fluid with no tracking issues.

TL;DR: For an already small selection of titles Dance Collider is a must have title for any rhythm game enthusiasts that want to get into a cyberpunk themed dance battle.
The review:
If you want to find out what “you’re yoghurt” is continue reading.
The Street Fighter of dance battles set in a variety of distinctive arenas that give off a strong cyberpunk vibe. Each character has a unique musical style and special move to keep you moving. The idea of a dancing off vs a character that taunts you occassionally gives you a better sense of purpose rather than just dancing alone in a game racking up points.

This is such a fun and chill game! It doesn’t get boring or repetitive since there are so many maps to choose from and characters to play as. The map editor is really cool, too! The art is adorable and the music is enjoyable. I’m really looking forward to getting some friends playing and trying out multiplayer. I could definitely see this being a go-to party game!
