DOGNUTS
More than a greedy and adorable dog, it’s a challenging game and at the same time a lot of fun, but it’s going to be hard to fatten this dog up, my donuts are on the way :(

Cute physics/logic game.
Some levels are quite provocative, in the sense of how many different aprouches you can use to win.
Very nice.

Underland: The Climb
Underland: The Climb introduces moving enemy sprites as a resource on the map which you have to avoid or manipulate around the maps to press buttons, etc. In addition to that, a pickaxe takes the place of the saw wheel from the first game and overall the layering of the puzzle elements both as a factor of timing and sequencing is kicked up a notch!
A fun and short game, with a few maps that really take a few tries. It seems like the dev was really expanding the concepts shown in the first game and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next! This game’s puzzles really feel cohesive and like the game teaches you how to think and play.

The BAD:
-
No separate music volume slider.
-
You can’t create any save points or quick saves during a level. If you make mistake, you must restart the level. This inflated the playtime and made some levels tedious rather than a joy.
-
The main character, EVERY time you click them, will either say; (most of the time) “What’s up” (though it sounds more like “What the”) or “Hey” or “Hi” in an upbeat manner as if oblivious to nearby danger. I don’t need the character to greet me hello yet again seconds or minutes apart just because I needed to click them again. Became annoying after a while.

Underland
Thumbs-up love for indie game artists, but could have improved on a lot of things. As has been observed, two people was never really necessary beyond prolonging repetitive actions. There was no button-holding or anything to necessitate the second guy, so all it did was frustrate the timing-based bits near the end.
Also the story felt a little shoe-horned in at the beginning and the ending. I was hoping the elevator would go down, you’d get a cutesy game-end splash with a shot of some cthonic city, and there-ya-have-it. Instead the wee bit of narrative felt a little pushy if anything. Sometimes less is more.

A great first entry in what looks to be a series of these light puzzle games. Half way through I was like “Why do some challenges make you save one guy and you always start with two?” But, there’s kind of a Spooky Narrative Reason by the end!
If you like this game, certainly pick up the second one, it really expands on the concepts and introduces new elements!

Liberation Mutagenix
Liberation Mutagenix is a fun game that feels reminiscent of the older lemmings games, but stands out with its own identity of a uniquely polished artstyle. I really enjoyed playing through each of these levels and thinking about how to beat it until everything clicks. The game allows for you to trial and error as much as you want with being able to restart levels even with your tools already placed down, allowing you to figure out more complex puzzles levels without having to waste too much time on setup.

COROPATA
Great adorable puzzle game from 2009 but barebones port.
It runs without issues and it’s cheap, so can’t complain.
don’t give up

Charming puzzle game with precise Newtonian physics simulation. Fiendishly difficult, which has resulted in finding some funny alternative solutions.

Forts
A great game with a great community. If you get bored of the main game, you can go into both mapping and modding. Both can be just as enjoyable as normal gameplay, and people on the official Discord will help if you have any problems. Absolutely recommended.

Contraption Maker
I used to like this game. A lot. I won firts place in one of their contests, and second place in another. For which I received reward in the form of steam games. Contraption maker is a great example of a game that never stops growing. Even now, they keep adding new content to it.
But… things havetemporarily changed.
Top Meadow and Game Dev Castle took over the development and publishing of the game, and I get the feeling that they don’t really care about the game itself anymore. They look at things from a rather business perspective which is bad for this type of game’s health. I am talking about DLC packs, and the fact that they ruin this game’s fun of uploading and sharing contraptions, puzzles and mods.

If I think about my earliest days of video gaming, back before I got into my classic platformers like Sonic the Hedgehog, the title that stands out to me the most (amidst many education-focused games) was The Incredible Machine. A game that tests your ingenuity to solve puzzles, and your imagination to create them. Many of my fondest gaming memories from those days came from T.I.M. I got this game when it was in alpha, and the fact that I got to play any part in this game’s development, even just by messing around with the parts and reporting bugs, is something truly special to me.

Panic Mode
In a world full of hazards, the “if it ain’t broke” line of thinking has lead to quite a precarious situation. Instead of taking preventive caution like say, fire escapes, instead the only company on the planet decides to hire you as a crisis manager. Use the corporate-provided tools (oft comprised of dangerous materials themselves) to prevent imminent chaos and guide the alien species known as ‘Pammies’ to safety.
In each location an accident is bound to happen. First, set up your equipment in the space. When things kick off, use your tools to mitigate the calamity that would otherwise cause all of the pammies to perish. Save the pammies! Or don’t; the company will keep you on as crisis manager regardless of your performance.
Tomb Rumble
It’s like a Celeste and Towerfall mixup,
Instead of an strawberry you have to get a crystal, and instead of using arrows to kill others you use traps
Oh, and you can create your own maps, pretty cool

After trying this game out for a short while, I can say two things for sure:
1. While it’s clearly not a Transformice, this game creates a very similar fun and enjoyable vibe
2. I want to actually play Tomb Rumble more!
The pixel visuals fits perfectly for a MMO platformer, and controls are quite good - so far I didn’t had any trouble with movement, which in that kind of game is important. I can’t say much about
I suggest you to try the game yourself, since Tomb Rumble is a free to play title. It doesn’t take much space on HDD, you don’t need to create any external accounts to play it, and each game/level doesn’t take much time. Since Tomb Rumble launched just recently, there are many people playing it online so you won’t get bored.
