Blockland

Blockland

I have been playing this game for 10 years now, and this is my attempt at an actual, objective based view of Blockland.

When it comes to gameplay, Blockland is what I consider to be the best lego-based sandbox building game to ever be released. theres no strings attached. you click “start a game” and you are almost immediately thrown into a blank slate and are free to build whatever you want, however you want, when you want. Whatever brick, item, or vehicle is not provided by default, the community’s faithful addon creators have provided for you. Blockland also comes with a intuitve and dynamic eventing system which allows you to assign functions to bricks. This game also supports gamemode functionality. You can host freebuilds, deathmatches, treasure hunts, and even community created gamemodes such as falling tiles, jailbreaks, drawing games, parties, development servers, RPGs, and more.

Due to this game’s hard-coded limitations, the concept could only be taken so far. But, considering the base technology that it runs on (old Source engine, I think?) Eric and the gang did a great job with this game.

I have many happy, sad, beautiful, ugly, and downright crazy memories playing it. I wouldn’t trade any of them for the world.

I would say, as cheesy as it might sound, that the experiences that this game gave me really did shape me as a person, and is jointly responsible for who I am today. I’m not kidding. Many may feel the same way.

Jamie’s Toy Box

Pretty neat! Exploding a huge pile of blocks never get old.

If you like physics, you will enjoy the game, especially in VR!

Jamie’s Toy Box may be in Early Access - but it’s still playable, exciting and fun to play.

I’m excited to see what the Developer introduces in future updates.

Factory Coin Mining

Factory Coin Mining

An enjoyable little Resource Allocation game.

You mine resources, update mining equipment and factories until you can build computers. Computers are used to produce Factory Coins (bitcoins) in Computer Stations. You can also buy Factory Coins by selling the resources or equipment you produce. You compete against other players on the in-game and Steam Leaderboards as to how many Factory Coins (bitcoins) you can produce. Steam Achievements are available.

You can develop a minimal or complex Conveyor Belt/Assembly Line system – your choice. No puzzles other than working out what machine/factory does what and where to place belts.

I will be blunt here.I have no idea what game these positive reviewers are playing but it is not in any way this one. Not one single thing is advanced about this game or a challange other than getting past how bug ridden even the UI is. The UI will decide hey look this way lock up scrolling one direction or the other then keep going. If you let the game just sit it locks up. The belts lose items jam you name it. And heaven help you when you reload the game from a save you can spend a hour plus trying to get gaps out of your belt feed lines so every thing is functioning as it should or you may find out all your robitic arms just dont work or any number of bugs anyone could see with very little time played. It is no where close to stable or long term playable as it should be so I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS GAME.

Qube Qross

Qube Qross

      • The Introduction - - -

You like Picross?

You think you have played them all?

You want a new challenging Picross?

In 3D?

Then Welcome to QUBE QROSS!

      • The Gameplay - - -

With the Help of Numbers on the outside Walls, you have to place Cubes to complete a Figure.

That may sound easy, but isn’t.

You can place the Cubes with Mouse and you are able to turn your Picross around. That is important because otherwise you are not able to complete it.

The Mouse Controll is easy and fluid.

Qube Qross is a puzzle game like a horcrux of Picross 3D, the controlling way is in a more limited way, but I found it fits PC games well, I went through it with my mouse.

Some puzzles in classic mode look cute and humorous, although I prefer the Time Attack mode more, it’s very exciting to go through the short puzzles in such a short time, it’s a bit pity there is no realtime online competitive mode tho, that would be amazing if I can send invitation to challenge my friends.

Overall it’s not bad, I would recommend for people have kids, or when this is at a discount.

My Simple Puzzle

My Simple Puzzle

Interesting game.

I especially liked:

  1. Ability to create your own collection of images.

Added photos from summer vacation. I remembered a time well spent.

  1. Ability to set any number of pieces into which the image will be split.

For rest, you can set a small amount: relieves fatigue, allows you to escape from worries.

And if you want to test your strength, then you can install a large number (several hundred or thousands).

  1. Autosave.

I was doing the puzzle. I urgently needed a distraction. Closed the game. When I was free, I started the game, clicked on the “Continue” button and continued from the point where I left off (very convenient).
