Machina of the Planet Tree -Planet Ruler-
To quote a friend, “This is a JRPG salad,” “But still a good salad” I replied.
Machina of the Planet Tree -Planet Ruler- is a game of cliches, but cliches well executed on. The world isn’t fleshed out (half-expected, given the runtime), but character interactions are well written and their tropes well executed on. It’s a joy reading the banter between any two characters, despite the predictability of the story. Planet Ruler even has Tales Of style skits, where prompts pop up occasionally in the corner to start optional character conversations; they’re always worth the time.

6/10 About 5 hours in right now, and I wish I could say I love this game more. It’s really not bad, but I’m not sure if I’ll ever finish it.
I bought it in a HumbleBundle with mostly VNs, so that’s what I was expecting. It was a pleasant surprise to find that it was a classic-styled RPG. The first hour in, I was sure I found a hidden gem - interesting plot, cute characters, cute dialogue, great BGM (no, you can’t choose to turn off SE/BGM/CV selectively, but it’s not really a problem). It’s been at least a few years since I played my last classic RPG, and I was immediately reminded of why I loved the genre so much before.

Lisistrata - RPG/Visual Novel
Inspired by Aristophanes’ great work
Also known as the “Father of Comedy” and “The Prince of Ancient Comedy”, Aristophanes lived between 446 - 386 BC and inspired thousands of people in ancient Greece. We would like to do the same by bringing his legendary work back to life and expanding upon its original linearity while still remaining faithful to the source.
The Rebellion
And so every woman in Athens left their home and took the Acropolis - the heart of the city. They decided to offer no more company or affection whatsoever to those men who had been so busy fighting their wars. Finding the means and forcing them to declare peace is your objective…

Omega Quintet
PROS
-
Has the IF-Compa DNA. If you love JRPGs of the same developer-publisher, such as nep games, turn-based, skills, 3D free roam, ADV scenes, then this is a good catch.
-
Lovely characters. Aria best girl. Neko-chan second best. 3D models not as lovely, but still cute nonetheless.
-
Scenes are funny af. Found myself laughing quite alot.
-
Disc Analysis feature is probably single most important gameplay element. It gives each playthrough its own style, and thus increases replay value. You choose the “build” path: skills and spells for each girl, and on each playthrough you can cycle their roles and what weapon they wield.

I just finished the game, although I did not get the real ending. I general I’d rate the game as 5/10. I cannot say that I recommend the game to everyone but is not like it shouldn’t be played either.
You should play the game if:
-
You like other Idea Factory titles, like Neptunia or Fairy Fencer.
-
You like cute, anime games and you enjoy the way they are played out. With the visual novel style of dialog.
-
You don’t mind grinding, specifically the Neptunia-type of grinding.
-
You aren’t looking for a game that’d tell you a good story.

This game is quite short but intense. English translation is fine. Sounding Stone showed good potential from this project. It is worth playing. The final completeness of this game depends on the sequels. We look forward to them too. Recommended!

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Infinite Combate
It’s a great pleasure to meet DanMachi as a game!ヽ(=´▽'=)ノ
[1] Intro
DanMachi. Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Infinite Combate. This is an anime character game produced by Mages and published by PQube. It is based on the popular Japanese light novel. The light novel is a popular novel category, and generally refers to a novel in the form of a small plate with illustrations in Japanese manga style. Thanks to the popularity of the original work, DanMachi, an animation series was aired as well, and eventually it was also released as a game. If so, how about DanMachi in the game? Let’s take a look at it with Nyanco-chan! (ฅ’ω’ฅ)

I do have to make an important point, before getting to the meat of my review. I play Danmachi Memoria Freeze on my phone, where I’m the captain of a fairly high ranked familia in my own right, I own all the books that have been released on the U.S. side of the pond so far, and I own Seasons 1 and 2 of the anime, as well as the Sword Oratoria anime. So I will freely admit to being somewhat biased in favor of the material that was used as the base, here. That said, I don’t much care, and if a game sucks, I will say so. With that in mind, here we go…

Mugen Souls Z
Mugen Souls Z, like it’s predecessor, combines the incredible/insane character development from Disgaea with a more straightforward combat system. Combat a bit like Neptunia or Fairy Fencer with a few added quirks like charm kills, buff/debuff giving crystals as well as ability to knock around characters.
Story wise it continues directly from Mugen Souls' true ending and the gameplay is essentially the same (with a few improvements).
Improvements from the first:
-Charming enemies is easier, while mood and stereotypes still matter the game will help predict results

Our favorite Undisputed God of the Universe, Chou-Chou, returns with her crew for a brand-new story revolving around the zodiac. Taking place immediately after the first game, you take control of the goddess Syrma, who meets Chou-Chou before the end of the first game’s events. Syrma is out to stop an ancient threat to her world that has recently awakened. 9999 levels of maniacal mishaps and ethereal adventures await Syrma, her crew, and hordes of Shampurus!
Starting the game is something of a chore. It follows on directly from Mugen Souls, and the ruler of the universe, Lady Chou-Chou, is tired of the little piece of space that she spent her last adventure obtaining. She decides to take over twelve more planets, but her plan quickly unravels when she’s accidentally transformed into a powerless chibi version of herself. Yes, this is the actual plot. More surprising, it takes up to two hours to get to the basic gameplay. This Metal Gear-busting figure includes countless cutscenes, a few tutorials, and a music video, but it’s by no means the end of your learning experience. You’ll keep being introduced to new ideas for a long time.

Agarest: Generations of War 2
Agarest: Generations of War 2 is the third installment of the Agarest series, which are coming from the Playstation 3 console. It’s a tough RPG with many different elements from another ones of its type, and it’s really tough to learn to play. And it has dating sim elements, which are the main feature of the Agarest series.
Graphics
The graphics are ok, the characters animations are simple, like almost 16-bit animations, but when the characters speak with each other, their animations are a lot better, with good quality anime animations featuring their facial expressions while their dialogues are shown at the lower screen. Also, the CG pictures you earn through the game are really well done, showing the girls at sexy situations (but without any full or partial nude).

TL;DR Version
- I like the game but cannot recommend you playing as its a love it/ hate it kind of game. Proceed with research in hand before contemplating whether you should buy it (MasterLL’s channel has a playthrough of the PS3 version of his youtube channel if you want to see the game in action.)
Full thoughts
Ok so this is a weird one.
The game has a fun combat system that can take a little time to get your head around. The flashy attacks, and fluid sprite animations are a joy on the eyes. Despite the fact some attacks can take a silly amount of time to complete, you may just end up never skipping them because they are so over the top, they’re fantastic. Japanese anime like attacks at their finest.

Damned Daniel
Overview
Damned Daniel is a wonderfully hilarious and vulgar comedy RPG from the Red Mouse Studio. It follows an alchemist known as Daniel who is stuck trying to turn his failing business when he’s given a mysterious tome that promises success with enigmatic costs. It’s a turn-based RPG and while the game struggles with the turn-based combat, it succeeds with clever writing that takes the player on a funny and yet, disturbing journey to help Daniel achieve his dreams of success.

This game is hands down awesome just to start off with. For fans of RPG games I highly recommenced this game to everyone I knew as it has a story that honestly with leave you on the floor laughing until you can’t breath. The combat is fun, Engaging, and is literally teaming with funny hind jokes that you have to understand to appreciate. The amount of time and detail, love and care, and overall dedication to those playing it is easy to see in the world you are playing in. The creator filled the world with characters and details that will make you want to play the game a second time just to relive it all. The game play is like most RPGs in terms of basics but takes it a step up with extra attributes and beautiful art style. Please if you have good humors and I love RPGs do yourself a favor and buy this game !

Omega Labyrinth Life
Let me start off by saying that OLL owners who are giving this game a negative Steam review despite kinda liking the game = a sign of extreme ignorance. Not only because of what happened in the run-up towards this game’s initial planned release on Sony’s platform, but because THIS is the type of game which will be scrutinized the most. Hardcore violence A-ok, anime girls rubbing some unidentified objects between their soft, well-endowed bosoms in order to ID them? HIGH ALERT.
So this isn’t dev greed, but you who needs to understand that this kind of content has a price tag for good reasons and shouldn’t be judged on an equal scale as other games which do not have these unfair development difficulties to deal with. Think of it as a “BS fee” and please don’t let it stop you from buying / supporting this type of game, because not doing so = they won’t be getting English translations in the future anymore.

Very much recommended! Don’t let the ecchi premise fool you into thinking this is a shallow game. It’s actually one of the most feature-complete roguelites I’d ever played and it would in fact stand on its own just fine without the pervy aspect. It’s both challenging and demands creativity in your equipment loadout but also relaxing and with lots of little ways of making progress. It’s forgiving of mistakes but doesn’t let you relax. I’d say the game isn’t necessarily “beginner friendly” to the genre, but is definitely not beginner-punishing like most roguelites. The gardening and slice of life stuff feels good and wholesome too instead of being tacked-on.

Planet Stronghold 2
Yall just had to make this game huh. Well i am happy you did but mad because now i have to choose. I hate Choosing there is so many Romance Options i want to do and i dont exactly feel like playing through the entire game. 12 times or more… Not including playing through the first one…. I will probably do these things i am just saying that it makes me upset…. I am Indecisive as all heck how dare you give me choices…
All in all the game is awesome the only complain i have is well how the MC personality is… It is honestly just two ways and that is kinda well boring. THough with all the choices you get the make it makes this less of a big deal by quite a bit. The only other complaint i have is well why cant i be with Cliff as a female. All in all this is such a great game the story and everything is awesome. So yea i recommend this game.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Ratings : 9/10
Planet Stronghold 2 is another excellent game that I enjoyed tremendously. Although it is a bit expensive, I felt that it is worth it, because it give me 100+ hours of fun and enjoyment. This game also have great replayability as I played it more than 10 times to get the 75 achievements.
This game is a wonderful blend of both RPG and VN; both genre that I loved very much. As for RPG, you have the option of choosing 4 different starting classes (soldier, guardian, scout, psionics), and 2 different factions (empire, rebels). You can also choose either male or fema You even have the option to toggle nudity and erotic text too, without the need to download any special patches, as in most other games.
