Alien Breed 2: Assault
Good sequel to the first game though I should say that being in the same spaceship without real novelties apart the weapons and one alien… but well, you have MIA joining the party, so…
That’s how I can summarize Alien Breed 2: Assault. After colliding with your ship, you’re aboard that ancient lost ship, discovering what happened really, helped by MIA, the robot that you have to trust to get out alive. However, given the weird creatures that are living in it, you guess that it will not be a round of pleasure but a full assault that you will be conducting. Given the fact that nearly nothing changed, here’s a copy/paste from my review for the first part of Alien Breed, which was Impact.

While did enjoy first Alien Breed game and second delivers more of the same, it kind of doesn’t. One point is still that played this one on hardest difficulty aka Elite instead of Veteran. Tested rookie after beating the game and it was truly fits it’s name, think someone who hasn’t even used controller before might have enough time to deal with them aliens.
So first two levels went ok, thing this time around levels are way more darker and claustrophobic and also felt like there were more locked camera phases which are tad annoying to deal with when aliens are starting to run at you from all around. Considering some of the basically can jump out of the floor right next to you from all side is pretty irritating on elite difficulty along the control scheme not holding up to that fast paced action with enemies taking much more punishment on lower difficulties while dealing way more from tiniest runt and it’s easy to get gangbanged and stunlocked in midst of that. Stunlock comes in using items like grenades, health packs, hardener armor etc which are life savers except your activation of them is interrupted due enemy attack. This caused severe issues during level 3 and especially during it’s ending section. While as an escort mission it’s not that annoying as Mia the synth friend won’t take much punishment and wait most of the time to you progress upon things, towards the end she stands in the way and kinda sets the pacing and alien AI really decides oddly whom to attack out of the two. After this phase it’s the ending room of level 3 which was worst thing so fart to deal with, masses of enemies surrounding all around and whacking you instantly to pieces, not good place to stand the ground due how arena is made and it’s in two sections and closest save is before escorting there so need to do quite a few things again with cutscene x4 to 5 for potentially dying quite fast again. This was quite annoying due first two levels giving more freedom on going around and giving chance to save, in third level this formula of opening map to be more approachable to limiting your access more and more when you proceed that kept going on till the end of the 2nd title.

Dull game, very basic
I can’t explain the reason I didn’t like it any better than that
Maybe watch a game play video before buying.

Alien Breed 3: Descent
Long story short - 10/10, best game ever, this is how they did it back in the days, must have, old school…and why do this studio having this gem, creating other games, instead of a next part?!)
Long story:
Got first part for free on some giveaway long ago, and bought others with 90% discount.
Each part consists of 5 missions, if u play it slow, while checking all the map, u can complete each for 10 hours or so, I think, tops.
Bugs? There do u find them here?! And how?! The only four non-critical bugs I had, was in first and last part.

Team17, the developer best known for the creation of “Worms” and other such classics are the ones responsible for bringing us the subject of my next review, a lesser-known title but a particularly lustrous gem nonetheless.
The Alien Breed Trilogy is a series of third-person shooters. Like their more popular distant cousins the FPS, they too automatically come with an ‘action’ tag by association because that’s what we all (myself included) have come to expect from the genre. Though categorized as such, the three I’m going to talk about today could more accurately be described as atmospheric, survival games wearing Sci-Fi party hats.

ECO HOLE
If you enjoy a bit of spook and puzzle (and can ignore minor bugs as of now) this is the game for you!
As you can see, I have a few hours into this game and I feel like I can give a pretty good opinion on it.
First of, Yes there are a couple of bugs as of now, but the devs have been open about the release being too early and that they are working on fixing the problems. - We haven’t experienced any problems that weren’t fixed by just restarting the game (except some achievement stuff).
As of the game itself, game is a lot of fun (and a bit challenging at times) to play coop and we can’t wait for the next level to be released and for the achievement bugs to be fixed.

Personally I’ve really enjoyed this game. From the sound effects to the puzzles it’s been a lot of fun. There are some bugs for sure, but I think that overall the games still a lot of fun! (Much better when played with a friend). It’s a fun horror puzzle game to play with one friend!
The only thing I can say that I don’t like about the game besides the bugs, is how short it is. But what there is to play is very good! For 8$ you can’t complain!

Zenith
REVISED AFTER FINISHING GAME
In my original review where I had only played a few hours, I mainly focused the problem with the combat system. I want to give a more complete review of the game after completing it with all achievements.
Initially, combat primarily involves using ranged attacks and depending upon mana regeneration, where the primarily healing is through potions that have long cooldowns. Melee combat requires precise timing to avoid taking damage until you have more advanced weapons and artifacts. However, once you get further into the game and get better armor, combat is less problematic. There are a few challenging bits in the game, but overall the game becomes easier the more you play. By the end you are able to do effective combos of various moves using different weapons and abilities that make it so you don’t take any damage if you are careful.

Surprisingly, I didn’t just enjoy the game. I loved it and wish I could play more.
First off, Zenith isn’t exactly an action RPG, but a light hack’n’slash. You can engage in close combat or, if your manna allows, magically attack from a distance. There’s no real level up system, you can just equip better armour and weapons, which in turn boost your stamina, manna, attack and defense. Sarcasm remains unchanged and always at 999! :D There is a kind of a skill tree, where you can boost various aspects. Fortunately you don’t need to make hard decisions, by the end of the game you’ll have all the points to be fully upgraded.

Cyber Fight Challenge
The fights are fun and online matches start up quickly. Ranking system seems to be a work in progress as I can see no real stats for my fighter. Tournaments also seem to be broken at this time. You can play against NPC fighters or online both are alot of fun but not polished by any means.
Only progress I can see is with the coins. You start off with 1000 silver coins and depending if you win or lose online fights you get or lose 10 coins. These coins are used to buy Gloves, Shorts, and Shoes for your fighter but the cheapest thing is 5k silver coins so get ready to grind those coins. If tournaments worked and you can place in it grind wouldn’t be so bad. You can also purchase another kind of currency with real money to but the cosmetics.

The game has Potential.
If you buy it, just know you’re not getting the finished article, literally it is an unfinished game.
It doesn’t have a career mode and I’m a bit Suspicious if I’m being matched up against real people or AI.
The Matches are 2 rounds and 2 minutes long, which didn’t bother me when I thought I was fighting real people.
The game play is amazing and I recommend buying it and using it to train, for what is hopefully to come.

Shatter Keep
I’m super excited for Freethrow’s first Steam game! Mostly because my friend Myles worked on this game as the Character Artist. I want to do what I can to support them, and I hope they see this review. I haven’t been the greatest friend to them in the past, I’ve made mistakes and I regret a lot, and I’m hoping I can fix that going forward. Here’s to you Myles, and here’s to the rest of the wonderful team at Freethrow, excellent work everyone! I hope this game gets many more positive reviews, and gains a huge following!

I really like the concept of this game. The killer is fun to play and feels really satisfying when you hunt down your friends, and survivor gameplay is tense for that exact reason.
The game has it’s issues though.
Although scenery goes transparent when walking near it, open doors remain opaque, and standing behind them completely hides your character model, which is one of the only ways to truly avoid the monster.
This is counter intuitive to the intended design, as closing doors are one of the only ways to slow down the monster, however, the door is destroyed when the monster slashes it. It becomes apparent it’s much better to hide your model behind open doors, rather than close it and risk losing it.

For all of us that comb our first grey hairs and love racing games, there was a golden age that we remember fondly and that’s when SNK published racing games for their console, the Neo Geo. Games like Over Top (the spiritual successor of the legendary Thrash Rally) and Neo Drift Out came as a breeze of fresh air on a console that was particularly known for its fighting games. Also, one of the arcade kings of the era was World Rally, from Zigurat. These games incorporated a very characteristic isometric view and were known for their excitement, full of adrenaline infused speed that made each race exciting and unforgettable.

```A recommendation with some reservation.
Pros:
- Pleasant 90's PlayStation1-like presentation
- Great arcady music
- Great announcer voice actress (she needs more lines)
- The drifting sounds like Ridge Racer :D (overall the sound effects are pretty good)
- The cars look bright and colorful, also much like Ridge Racer or Auto Modelista (the look of the cars makes this game attractive at first glance)
Not sure why this game gets the hate it does. I certainly didn't play this for the 15+ hours it shows on Steam but probably at least half that. The controls work well on controller, it's honestly a rather great control scheme for controllers and it makes sense, this is a TWIN STICK SHOOTER. Not a M+KB shooter. I play FPS and TPS games with a mouser and keyboard but I play anything like this with a controller. People also complaining that the game is difficult or the enemies are cheap. I played on the hardest difficulty and it was a BREEZE, I didn't die a single time. Make better use of your items and learn to scavenge if you're having a hard time.
