Distrust: Polar Survival
TL;DR: I love arctic survival games - but Distrust: Polar Survival is a lesson in how NOT to make an arctic survival game. Distrust is supposed to be a game about surviving in arctic conditions - yet once you figure out how to manage your resources, you’ll find the biggest challenge is surviving the many bugs like dropped connections and lost inventory.
PROS
I love arctic survival games, where you are not just fighting to survive but where the harsh conditions of the environment itself is killing you. If this doesn’t describe what you enjoy playing, I’d advise you to stop right now and pass on this game.

Distrust:
“Mayday. . . Can anyone hear us? . . . We need help. . . We’re losing people one after the other. . . HELLLP!” Then . . . silence. That’s when we decided to send a rescue team to our neighbouring Arctic base. But then, as the helicopter approached the base, screams were echoing all around. All we could decrypt on our end was “what is that light?” After that, all communication was cut and there was no sign of the chopper on our radar. I hope the rescue team survived the crash. That’s just the start of Distrust!

## Gatewalkers (Alpha)
It's ALPHA but let me just say one thing, It sure doesn't play like an ALPHA!
I jumped in the game first thing when the demo came live. I played for 9 hours straight in stream on twitch.tv and you can go check it out. No shameful plug at all. It's there, go watch it. Anyway, if you want a top down RPG with some amazing mechanics and great elements of game that take you back to some old school classics with modern graphic engine and some amazing snub references to things that seem very familiar this is one for sure to check out.

Pros.
If you are looking for a dungeon crawler type game i highly recommend. This is an actual great game! Great Graphics, awesome gameplay/controls, and even this being in alpha even i personally have not had any bugs or glitches with it. It is similar to diablo with the combat and dungeon crawler game play but with a super cool twist; (if you have ever played albion online) it also shares similar traits to albion with the open world type maps but are not nearly as big and they are procedurally generated so you get something a little different if you go back to the same map. There is also mats for crafting tons of different types of weapons and armor for the build that your running (similar to albion on the weapons; so your skills you use are dependent upon what weapon your using). In that same statement it IS NOT nearly as grindy as albion was with farming mats and not to mention the constant annoyance of other people farming the same mats as you and waiting for them to respawn since it is a singleplayer/co op game. The UI is pretty nice and simple not super complex or fancy. The skill tree is a shtting of the pants moment at first sight so it takes a second but it is easy to understand. There is herbs, berries, etc types of ingredients that you use in crafting various foods and drinks which can give you buffs like, increased healing, damage, damage reduction, stamina regen etc. There is hidden chests and challenges that you can do in the maps which gives you more rare materials. And there is even effects from the world on your character on certain maps like them being filled with gas in areas to even being night time which affects you in different ways.

There are no predefined character classes. Each item gives you a unique set of skills, so try tinkering with different builds. Take heavy armor and a healing staff to support your mates in the front line by tanking and restoring health. Remember, you are, what you wear!
#### PROCEDURALLY GENERATED WORLDS

Each time you pass the Gate you will land in a different, procedurally generated world. This gives you countless opportunities, offers constant challenges, and forces you to adapt in order to win in changing conditions! Always stay cautious, modify your strategy, make fast decisions and face their consequences, because you never know what waits around the corner.

## Reach the Summit
Cool unpretentious 2D platformer made in the style of games of the 90s with elements of adventure.
I liked the construction of the levels here, as well as the way they are well drawn

Folks, be sure to pack a will made of iron. Reach the Summit is a title that falls into the category of pixel perfect platformers. You will die in this game. Boy is this game ruthless. The developers really weren't playing when they crafted this beautiful torture machine. For any of you who seem to have gaming oriented masochistic tendencies, like myself, you'll have fun.

## Wild Terra Online
First off I would just like to say that I LOVE THIS GAME!!! Sure its a bit rough around the edges right now, but the possibilities are endless! This is not a game for everyone, and I will warn you that if you are not into survival games, REALISM, etc., then you need to keep walking right on by. This is not a game for those seeking an easy way to "Master" a game, quick payoffs or pay to win, but rather for those that like to work hard and feel a real sense of accomplishment when all the hard work pays off.

Here is my comment and hope it will serve as a good reference to any players who intented to buy this game.
Some of the good review for this game have been quite old and no reflecting the current game model.
Over the past few month this game have gone from good to worst and the reason are as follow
Siege- the new siege mechanism now can only be done in a fixed interval. Player have no rights to choose the siege time. So the timing maybe at you work hours or sleeping hours depending on your timezone. Recently dev "improve" the siege making it now easy to siege and harder to build. Depending where you live you will lost your effort when you come back from work or sleep,

## ATOM RPG Trudograd
Edit #2
After completing what i believe to be most of the new content and testing the balance changes that came with the latest update, I can gladly say this game is in a pretty good place now. I'll address the problems I had in the previous patch below and how they were fixed below.
Fist off as always is combat. Enemies now more consistently take damage, so long as you are fully invested in what ever type you choose. There's really not a lot of room for using multiple forms of combat, if you're gonna go for automatics or rifles, you have to go in. You're not gonna have enough points left over for other weapon skills to still have enough points for other skills unless you're importing a character from the first game that's some ungodly high level. One final thing to note about combat is that melee enemies still seem to do crazy amounts of damage. This wouldn't be too much of an issue if they didn't stun and crit you as often as they do. I swear i must have been crit more times in one hour of this game that the entire campaign of the previous one. Not that it's too much of an issue, I found that as long as you have enough AP you can run away and shoot every other turn. Just make sure you avoid anyone with armor and a knuckleduster.

Quick and dirty review
Pros:
-Updated interface
-Perk system
-Weapon mods
-No need to buy the first game if you want to experience the atom world
-The world is still a fucked up hellscape with random and various strokes of gray as most choices just like the first don't have a good ending just people surviving
cons:
-its not fully released yet AND I NEED MY GOOD RPG GAME FIX NOW!
Full review of what i so far think of the game:
So far i'm once again enjoying the atom world this definitely an expansion and for the full experience you should play the first game so you can import your character over and gain a better understanding of both the world and whats going on in this story, but you don't have to as this can be played alone and with out context from the previous story if you just want a taste before possibly deciding to buy the previous game. While this isn't as harsh as the previous game you can up the difficulty if needed as people that import there character may find this to be a bit too easy or too hard depending on your builds as you wont be able to fill in gaps using companions right away so for more for those importing characters you may want to even start a new one from scratch, but that's just my own view you should always give a chance to your current build and see how it turns out. As for the overall story and not revealing spoilers you are thrown into searching for a solution to a very large and imminent threat the world still retains its bleak outset with many citizens within Trudograd suffering within the great city and some having grown soft inside its walls making certain decisions and quests just like the previous game not having the desired effect you want or a happy ending if there even is one. I would simply say this is the Atom team giving us a wonderful expansion and if you cant wait and need a taste give it a try or wait for the full release and get the full product as if you don't want to wait for updates.

#### **Main Features**
* _Atmospheric medieval location._
The old cursed dungeon with several gates awaits you, from which numerous enemies arrive. You can also find dangerous traps that will come in handy to eliminate enemies
* _Non-target combat system._
This system works for both players and enemies. This means that any enemy attack can be dodged.
* _Campaign mode._
You need to destroy enemies round after round, including a short tutorial and several boss battles. As you progress, the difficulty increases. And at the end you will find the most powerful enemy - the final boss.
* _Survival mode._
This mode is one endless battle, during which more and more strong enemies appear. The goal is to score as many points as possible for killing enemies. Especially sophisticated players can choose the Ultra-difficulty level. This will allow you to get 3 times more points, but will require dodging any damage, since the character will only have 1 health point.
* _Various enemies._
Endless living dead, terrible knights, insidious magicians and many others, about whom you can find out when you meet. Different enemies have different characteristics. Some are weak and slow, some attack from a distance, and some can get so angry that it will be impossible to stop them…
* _Bosses._
As you progress through the Campaign mode, you will encounter several bosses. Fighting some of them will require special skill from you.
* _Skill tree._
The development of your character will take place by learning skills in the skill tree. At the moment, there are 3 intermediate and 4 advanced character classes available. Each of the advanced classes has unique active and passive abilities.
* _Cooperative multiplayer._
It is much more fun to destroy crowds of enemies together with your friends. This feature allows you to play in a team of up to 4 people.

Magic Adventures is a endless survival clicker game when you fight endless horde of enemy, and get stronger at each run.
Graphics (5.5 / 10) : This part is ok, the graphics are nice, but there only one place (the plain)
Gameplay (4.5 / 10) : Quite simple, but easy, just click to damage the foes, but no special attack or skills …
There different types of enemy, each have it own pattern.
You win gold for upgrade yourself and get stronger (HP, Damage, HP Regen)
The big problem with the game is that you start at lvl 1 at each new run, there no warp system for starting further when you start you become really stronger.

## Siege Survival: Gloria Victis
I first heard of this game during the Steam Game Festival back in February and I spent maybe 2 dozen hours trying out the demo before getting the full game.
Siege Survival is heavily inspired from This War of Mine, and incorporates many of the same looting and resource management aspects, such as base-building, scavenging the city at night, trying to keep your people alive until the end of a war, and more.
**I think Siege Survival handles some aspects very well, even better than TWoM, such as:**
*– [Real player with 100.4 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198072072686)*
I really tried to like this game, I did, really. I think the hours speak how much I tried. I gave up a few times on the hardcore mode because while I didn't mind a challenge, I didn't feel like doing the siege again, but harder.
I understand, and it wasn't a bad idea to try to mix This War of Mine and Medieval siege. But the problem is, well, you kind of lost the point of T.W.M. when you tried this. That war is shit, and stupid, especially as a civilian that has no horse in the race. When you're the **focus** of the siege, forced to pick a side, and it's so binary who's right/wrong, the message is lost. It's a typical story of "us vs. bad men" and **that's** where you dropped the ball. The events are binary right/wrong as well, pick the obviously right/morally good choices and your rewards are a mood boost plus a benefit. Versus a mood debuff plus a benefit. Closest to "conflicted" I get to a decision is the rat event where you either go for the food that can make ~12 meals and get lightly scratched or don't. You never talk to an Ismir raider to ask them why they're raiding us, what they hope to get out of it, and what they say to justify it all. You meet one, but he's too wounded to talk philosophy or reason which admittingly did amuse me when I thought of trying so with a notebook and pencil in my hands.
