Ostrich Runner
These are the most unusual races in my life, I’ve tried a bunch of projects, but this one surprised me the most, not the usual approach, and a bunch of different characters. Each of them has different abilities.

I played this game as a kid and enjoyed it a lot, but unfortunately the steam version is even more broken that the game from about ten years ago. There is at least one secret level in this game, but it won’t load for you no matter what compatibility settings you use as if some files are missing. The multiplayer also doesn’t work, displaying a game-crashing error when you try to join the single available suspicious looking lobby. There is an English language version, but the in-game input is still in Russian. Also the Steam overlay doesn’t work, but it’s quite common for older titles and therefore the least important part of this review.

For all of us that comb our first grey hairs and love racing games, there was a golden age that we remember fondly and that’s when SNK published racing games for their console, the Neo Geo. Games like Over Top (the spiritual successor of the legendary Thrash Rally) and Neo Drift Out came as a breeze of fresh air on a console that was particularly known for its fighting games. Also, one of the arcade kings of the era was World Rally, from Zigurat. These games incorporated a very characteristic isometric view and were known for their excitement, full of adrenaline infused speed that made each race exciting and unforgettable.

Pros:
- Pleasant 90's PlayStation1-like presentation
- Great arcady music
- Great announcer voice actress (she needs more lines)
- The drifting sounds like Ridge Racer :D (overall the sound effects are pretty good)
- The cars look bright and colorful, also much like Ridge Racer or Auto Modelista (the look of the cars makes this game attractive at first glance)

## Super Woden GP
I bought Woden GP a few months back and was thoroughly disappointed by it. The driving physics felt too floaty and most importantly, the camera was positioned in such a way that you could never see what corner was coming ahead. Since these flaws make a top-down racing game largely unplayable, I uninstalled the game and got a refund immediately.
I was hesitant about buying Super Woden GP and felt sure that I will be applying for a refund within the hour. It turned out that I played the game for nearly 30 hours and didn't have the patience to write a review for it, at least not before I finished the campaign mode.

I love this genre and I have been playing isometric racing games since arcade era. Super Woden GP is quite good and it's a wastly improvement over "normal" Woden GP. I have tried many modern isometric car racing games. In my opinion, among all of these racers, Super Woden GP is one of the best.
Graphics and art direction is very good and very fitting for this genre. Graphics filters are nice. Music is also quite good. Controls and game play is much better than the developers previous Woden GP game. There are many cars to select from and there are also enough tracks to race.

**Controls**
Mouse Steering
Galaxy Drift introduces a way to control your racer using only your mouse. This method is perfect for those without a controller as it allows granulated steering and acceleration input similar to the analog sticks on a controller. When using mouse steering, a steering tether is connected between your mouse pointer and vehicle. The length of the tether determines speed and the direction of the tether determines the vehicles movement direction.
Gamepad
Galaxy drift also supports full gamepad support, where you can race with much more traditional methods if mouse steering isn't for you. Controls are also fully remappable and in split-screen players can choose the control method they prefer.
Tracks
Race across 15 tracks through 3 Cups, each with it's own theme and unique mechanics. These courses take you across the galaxy, racing in orbit above planets as well as on the ground through the toughest of terrain and weather.

I liked the game challenges:
1) Platforming on cubes.
2) Precision challenge - ball usually moves through the cube's center towards movement direction
but there are floating platforms and rotating cubes that will try to veer the ball off that easy path.
Use the stop ability if needed. Certain cubes will put you back on track.
The game starts with 9 balls and will give you 3 extra ball upon level completion.
I did not like the fact that game over screens mocked me with "advices" like
