AccidentHouse

If there ever was a game to excite the heart and give you constant twists and turns this is it. I have studied this game for over 20 minutes and have mastered the horrors of Accident House. I really can’t state the euphoric high that comes with mastering this game I look forward to speedrunning it at AGDQ in the future. I achieved 100% achievements and let me you tell you this gem is worth every penny.

As to be expected with an early access game, its a bit broken. Hallways and rooms are too small to dodge monsters. Turning off your flashlight to hide is only useful up to the second key, after that you they can and will find you. Health doesn’t regenerate so you have to rely on checkpoints because unless you are lucky, you will eventually get hit one too many times. One positive thing I can say is the first jump scare did in fact genuinely scare me, which is very hard to do. The dark atmosphere and gliding/slow motions had me distracted JUST enough. It has potential, but needs some tender love and care to be something more. At its current state, its just more frustrating than scary.

A fun new early access game that currently has 4 different puzzles of increasing difficulty. Excited for the levels that will be progressively releasing over time that will all have their own levels of difficulty. There are some bugs but the game is very new and the devs are good at repairing the bugs quick, especially if you report any bugs directly. Overall I really enjoy the aesthetic and can’t wait to see what it will be like further into development.

Growing game with a fun premise. Devs are very open to communication and work on bugs immediately. Helped test and watched every issue I reported, those that hindered game play be treated as high priority.

OVERVIEW:

The game is a survival singleplayer game, where you feel thirsty and hungry, and has a few vendors scattered around, where you can buy or find items all over the map. The map is large and allows for extensive exploration. It has 10 missions where you must fulfill various types of objectives, from assassinating targets, cleaning areas, recovering items, etc. As I really like this type of game I decided to give it a try.

POSITIVES:

The environment of the map is just incredible, it´s very difficult to find such a well-developed indie game, the sounds, the scenery, the items, the collectibles… Everything is perfectly done, which left me stuck for a few hours exploring and contemplating all this.

The developer has worked fast into fixing the bugs I’ve reported. It is a great game with a lot of potential.

Super scary :S

It’s definitely better played with friends. I like it because it’s faster than other ghost hunting games (phasmo, etc). The ghost moves rooms very often but its not hard to find again. There are many unique features that makes it shine by itself.

8/10 Recommended.

Code 3: Police Response

Code 3: Police Response

Code 3 is a tactical police based first person shooter developed for the PC made by police and police support personnel. The game places the player in the shoes of a patrol officer in your average American city. The player will be able to take on the role of that officer and respond to various calls for service and act appropriately. Calls will be dispatched to the player who will resolve the issue at hand. Although some calls will be less dynamic than others, the game is developed for entertainment, and many calls will involve stressful and/or dangerous situations. It will be up to the player to decide the best course of action in each situation.

Since the game is being developed and created by police and police support personnel, there is a theme of realism regarding radio traffic, types of calls, and available resources. Dispatches are given by real life dispatchers, and levels/scenarios are created with the guidance and knowledge of working police officers including both current patrol and SWAT level officers. Although some elements are included for entertainment and enjoyment purposes, the focus of the game is on providing realistic situations for the player to face based on police experiences.

We look forward to working with our community through Steam Early Access to allow Code 3 to have an entertaining blend of realism and fun. Come check us out at the 109 Below forums and in Steam discussions to be a part of the Code 3 team today!

So, tell us, Mr. Abysss, how is the game? Is it Intriguing? Is it mysterious? Engaging?

  • Oh, so many questions! Yes, I can say that the story has intrigued me from the beginning, it’s pretty mysterious. If it wasn’t for the poor level design and some other major problems that affect the game…

Such as? Oh but tell us first more about the poor level design.

  • Indeed, well, to begin with, there are large end empty boring halls, boring icy tunnels and generic current that takes you exactly where you need to go like some kind of an elevator. There is also some aquatic life here and there, but it’s not many species and it gets repetitive fast.

First off the game seemed interesting fromt he start. strange alien like rocks, unknown creatures and a plot that seemed to convey a corrupt corporation or perhaps some eosrt of rougue A.I or alien life form. Of course at the end of it all, none of what I thought was the case was the actuall case. Not only that bt I was able to beat this thing in only a day. NO JOKE….A DAY!!!! Yeah for a small dev team the game looked nice and the modeling and detail on the aquatic creatrues was something to behold but the story I felt mislead me thinking the game was heading into a more interesting, horror driven narritive. Sure being underwater is scary and yes oversized man eating worms make my skin crawl but what I got form the entire thing was a interesting adventure game that just so happens to have a message about psychological disfunction and what you could do to deal with it. As far as I’m concerned the game does have multiple endings the one i got was with Sonya still trapped, CHris dead, and Ryan going absolutly bat shit insane after being rescued. Not sure if there is an ending where I could save sonya or perhaps do something different but it seems the options are to either do what chris asks and thats it. Not sure if pickign to shut down the A.I. manager would have cahnged much.

OK lets get this strait it is a work in progress monster hunting game. now while being vary basic and almost lacking in some physics. but the game may be difficult its not unplayable. the graphics of this game are better then some more popular games " fortnite, among us,etc" so if you get this $2.00 game and hate on it well what can I say. you pay less than that in tax on your fast food so you get what you payed for.

This game is pretty good, actually. Although, this game is early access. :) Pretty scary me at first times, because in the jungle, too many trees, it can come out suddenly, like scary jump. Why I’m not got too many scary experience at next match? Because I run to the wide place and wait that monster come out. XD

Features:

-Simple horror survival game (Scary jump included, if you stand the wrong position)

-Nice graphic (At least, not too bad to me)

-Nice atmosphere

-Nice background music

-Simple sound effect

Three Pigeons in a Trench Coat

Three Pigeons in a Trench Coat

Our story begins with a very good looking pigeon with an amazing name, who’s dream is to act in the great theater that they live in. With the help of a lovely human, a fluffy pigeon and a questionably french bird, they create the perfect human disguise: a trench coat. Heigh-ho, hey-ho! Alas, suddenly, the world ends! Zounds! Bazinga! Yeet! All hope is lost! But, in the nick of time, a figure approaches this spectacular pigeon with an offer. Would you like to try again?

Three Pigeons in a Trench Coat is a fast paced, action, adventure game, where you try to find out what ends the world and stop it before the world ends again five minutes later. And if you fail? Just try again!

An Unexpected Fall

This review is spoiler free.

Brief Overview

fEarth.128 An Unexpected Walk (fEarth) is a 2D platformer made extra difficult by a myriad of bugs littered across every aspect of the game. You play as Copper Spider (CS), who has to navigate puzzles and platforming sections to reach his friends. I could see the challenging platforming giving fEarth a certain appeal, but when progression is made nearly impossible by unresponsive controls and bugs, it is just not worth the frustration of even trying.

Information / Review English

fEarth.128: An Unexpected Walk is an Adventure / 2D Plattformer game, developed by Bilzivar and published by The Overall Angle.

Gameplay / Story

The time twisting, puzzle platformer is brilliantly made, fantastically designed but a killer on the brain. The introduction to the game drip feeds you the information you are required to complete it, and its all down to you to apply the knowledge you have been given.

Now this is where opinions will divide; I enjoyed the challenge and that inspired me to push on. You could argue this game is actually really boring, I would disagree, but essentially it is advanced jumping with time elements. The story is strong, the character is great, albeit eccentrically odd, and the mechanics are near flawless. If you are a naysayer, play this in chunks and it’ll win you round.
