Nice game that would even be more nice though if the devs would react to help-questions in the discussions…

An excellent and innovative game.

You can smash glass in this game- what else can you ask from the developer? The controls are a bit hard to get used to, but with some practices you’ll get it.

Bugs do exist, but the devs listen to bug reports on Discord and do make attempts to fix them.

This stupid clumsy robot won’t let me sleep… the game is so addictive :-)

The robot controls kind of sluggish and shattered objects on the ground make things more wonky. But this was done in a way that makes the game challenging and not frustrating … ok, I was lying, it is frustrating at times … in a good way.

The graphics are crisp and charming and I love the music, although there seems to be only one song. The developer is doing a great job at fixing bugs too :-)

An excellent game that makes you think to complete the levels. There is a big + in different languages. Good soundtrack also in different languages that gives ++)))

An excellent graph that tells us that this is not a game that you can score in 5 minutes, Allows you to spend a lot more time in the game)

Pretty interesting game with a lot of unique puzzles. It’s not too easy to solve and sometimes I was stuck trying to find solution. But it’s not super hard and anyone can enjoy the game without spending hours on puzzles. I loved the graphics - clean, well-made and it’s sci-fi themed!

You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/vnwnQcIpXf4

This is a difficult game to recommend because it does have some noticeable flaws. The biggest thing is that it’s teleportation only with snap turning. It also doesn’t have much content. Game took me about two hours to complete, but I think it would take most people 1 hour. The game only has 1 big room, then 1 small room.

Game is running on the Unreal Engine. While this game does look better than the vast majority of VR puzzle / escape rooms, it also has some performance issues. On my RTX 3080, I was getting steady 80 frames per second. Yes, it seems as though the game is hard capped at 80 fps.

Real player with 2.7 hrs in game

EDIT: The 80 fps lock has now been removed, and the game works perfectly also in 90, 120 and 144 Hz.

With an RTX 3090 I can now use res 450% in solid 90 fps, but it works best with no motion smoothing. The game looks and performs mindblowingly awesome.

There’s no finger tracking, but lighting and textures etc. are of the highest quality. Also no full locomotion, but like Room VR you’re here to solve puzzles - there’s teleport though and snap turning.

Unfortunately I should have eaten more veggies as a kid to grow a larger brain, lol, so I’m still working on the prolonged dry cough! puzzles. There’s a hint system, but I’m stubborn - I need no help, lol.

Okay, it’s a pretty solid game but I can’t recommend it to anyone who plays much in the way of puzzle games. You’ll quickly find it repetetive.

Pros:

Neat mechanic.

Looks and sounds good, which results in pretty great immersion.

Some very enjoyable puzzles.

Cons:

Movement can be awkward.

Once you figure it out, which may not take long - you will start to feel like you’re repeating the same puzzles.

Actual order/progression in difficulty of puzzles is not the best.

Real player with 16.2 hrs in game

The puzzles are very simple, only a couple required to think a bit more before the solution came up.

The VR experience is very buggy, after a couple of levels your character gets desynced with your headset even with little movement on your position making it so you lose the perception of where you actually are.

The character controls are also quite simple you can use the left stick (Oculus) to move forward and turn the character your forward is also determined by where you’re looking making it possible for you to ignore turns or take the wrong one when you decide to look at the next point while moving at the same time.

One of the best zach-like games to exist thus far; A perfect rendition of simple rules leading to complex interactions. The retro pixel art and story featuring historically accurate rock star scientists lends itself well to a fun and engaging game about building the worlds first analog computer. The developer is active and responsive, adding more content fairly frequently, and the community is already both friendly and competitive.

10/10, would request lewd etchings again

First and foremost: This is a positive review.

I’m unable to beat this game however (PEBKAC) though, so I’m going to caution prospective players:

This game is HARD, and the tests in each level are NOT comprehensive, nor will they give the same results when run individually versus the ‘run all tests’ results. It’s VERY possible to make solutions which pass in test-all but fail on every single test when run individually. Chasing the test scores can easily box you into a dead-end solution path.

The test score results are NOT an actual metric for how usable parts you design are, and almost every part is meant to be used later after it’s made, without any clear description of errors compounding or what to watch out for.

A fun new early access game that currently has 4 different puzzles of increasing difficulty. Excited for the levels that will be progressively releasing over time that will all have their own levels of difficulty. There are some bugs but the game is very new and the devs are good at repairing the bugs quick, especially if you report any bugs directly. Overall I really enjoy the aesthetic and can’t wait to see what it will be like further into development.
