The Tides of Time
After finishing the game a week ago, I can surely say that I really enjoyed it and that it is one of the best indie games that I have ever played. The game is heavily influenced by the Legend of Zelda games and especially by the top-down NES, SNES, and Game Boy titles (which are my favorite). In fact, while playing, it felt like a modern Game Boy Color game, which I loved since Game Boy Color is the handheld with which I grew up.
Summary
In brief, you play as a young man named Charlie, who is trapped in a time loop and relives the same day, the Festival of the Red Sun, all over again. In particular, a dark shade that was trapped in the lighthouse of the main island causes the Red Sun to come close to the world and burn everything (An idea inspired by the Falling Moon in Majora’s Mask). The player has 10 minutes until the Sun destroys the world and when this happens, the game is reset.

Very good game! The puzzles are nice and fit in well with the time wind dynamic.
I did find 2 bugs however (huge spoiler warning):
! 1. If you fight the whale with the black sword he wont go into his final phase and will just sit at the front of the island and attack you while invincible. 2.When fighting the elephant boss the hit detection on whether you dashed into his legs when he stands up was very finicky and didn’t work for me at all unless I dashed into his legs from the very front within a very narrow time window (i.e it wouldn’t register even if he was still standing). This made me think that for the first few times I fought him that I was doing something wrong when I didnt.

AccidentHouse
If there ever was a game to excite the heart and give you constant twists and turns this is it. I have studied this game for over 20 minutes and have mastered the horrors of Accident House. I really can’t state the euphoric high that comes with mastering this game I look forward to speedrunning it at AGDQ in the future. I achieved 100% achievements and let me you tell you this gem is worth every penny.

As to be expected with an early access game, its a bit broken. Hallways and rooms are too small to dodge monsters. Turning off your flashlight to hide is only useful up to the second key, after that you they can and will find you. Health doesn’t regenerate so you have to rely on checkpoints because unless you are lucky, you will eventually get hit one too many times. One positive thing I can say is the first jump scare did in fact genuinely scare me, which is very hard to do. The dark atmosphere and gliding/slow motions had me distracted JUST enough. It has potential, but needs some tender love and care to be something more. At its current state, its just more frustrating than scary.

Tiani
A very great looking game, the maps are very well done and the story is engaging and fruitful! If you aren’t blasting mobs from a distance, you can cut through them like butter with the sword. Being forced to explore the map and having to actually pay attention to what’s going on, makes this game that much more personal to the player, and much MUCH more rewarding. Tiani has a very good balance between fast and slow paced gaming, You never feel rushed, and it’s super easy to play at your own pace! All around great game! :)

A breath of fresh air in the current gaming climate! Story and character based game kind of like Disco Elysium, albeit shorter. Big game world, a lot of interaction and different ways to solve the crimes. Some tips I would give to new players:
spec your character right away, you have like 8 points and you have to manually enter each one. A bit unintuitive but you can get the hang of it. Be sure to add your 2 new points after every murder solved. humor and charm go a long way when talking to NPCs.

Slaughter Bots
In 2057 entertainment is not experienced but lived as injected nanobots react to your VR contact lens HUD to give pain and pleasure and where AI self learn and mutate to manage your daily life and fight crime and terror.
Overview
The game takes technologies from the 2020’s and extrapolates their development and usage out to the year 2057. For example, drones, injected nanobots and the contact lens HUD could become integral to our future daily life in 2057.
In 2057 the Internet is outdated and has been replaced by the Grid, an AI driven experience that thinks, learns and runs autonomously. It’s designed to include external AI that works with the Grid to perform autonomous tasks for transport, security and policing.
Lethal Autonomous Weapons
In the 2020’s the military deploy Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems (Drones) but in the future such weapons could become Weapons of Mass Destruction through the release of millions of miniature weaponised autonomous self thinking drones that could actively seek out and target individuals based on their actions and through facial recognition. Therefore security and police drones by 2057 have eliminated global crime and terror.
Contact Lens HUD and Nanobots
In 2057, everyone has a personal contact lens HUD that interacts with the Grid and nanobots that are injected into your body. These nanobots provide healthcare and connect to the HUD to give life like stimuli in response to what is happening on the HUD.
Therefore by combining the HUD and nanobot interactions it’s almost impossible to distinguish between reality and the entertainment virtual world.
What Is Slaughter Bots?
Slaughter Bots is an action RPG survival game set in the future, in the year 2057 where you can play in either 1st or 3rd person.
After your HUD fails and you get disconnected from the Grid, you soon discover the Grid has assumed control and everyone connected to the Grid is in a trance and only responds to the Grid and AI.
The Grid deems anyone not connected as an enemy and people and AI under its control will attack anyone not connected i.e. you.
Can you survive and rescue your family?
Find other survivors and see if you can work with them to utilise your skill sets.
Do you play aggressive or use stealth and cunning to survive, the choice is yours.
Character Selection
Choose a character to play, each has their own personality, traits and abilities. Some skills can be learned and acquired through the game.
For example a character that :
-
is an ex army soldier will be superior in combat situations to a character that has had no military training
-
has a scientific background may not be good in a fight but might be able to use technology against the AI and the Grid
-
has never fired a gun in their life wont be a crack shot or instantly know how to reload advanced weapons, such skills may need to be learned
Tale of Ninja: Fall of the Miyoshi
I like that there is a ninja game and thank you for that whoever, I think the game would be a great one to this list:
1- cursor lock(this one is a must)
2- unique animations that make feel like a ninja. I don’t want to be rude, but right now a big proportion of the animations look like mobile to me.
3-controls:
1- full controller support.
2- free controls adjustments for keyboard&mouse and controller
some people are OK with the default controls and some are not I think this would satisfy all kinds of people

I was originally looking for a game , Tenchu and this came up. It was alright - entertaining and will finish all maps. Hoping for fighting style improvements and more maps in the future.

Freud’s Bones-the game
Freud’s Bones is a narrative-driven adventure that wants to pay homage to the birth of psychoanalysis and its founder Sigmund Freud.
Immerse yourself in his mind and discover the mystery behind his crisis.
Investigate disturbing Egyptian artifacts, philosophical puzzles, and perverse sexual disorders in this unprecedented indie adventure.
Born as a highly successful Kickstarter project, winner of the Red Bull Indie Forge Award 2020, Italian finalist in the Nordic Game Contest 2021; Freud’s Bones is developed by a single person, with the collaboration of a few friends.
“I believe that Freud is in crisis and that without a faithful friend, he will end up being swallowed up by his ghosts.”
Carl Jung
Freud finds a strange Egyptian artifact on his desk, that “comes to life” during the night showing him threatening and disturbing philosophical puzzles. This drives him crazy and makes him paranoid by making him believe that he is being persecuted…
Sigmund is used to solving his patients' crises, but this time he will have to help himself dig deep inside himself and understand the real reason for his paranoia.
Fortunately, or unfortunately, you came to his office right in the middle of his crisis.
Thanks to you, Freud may be able to overcome it…
Because of you, Freud may never get out of it.
Psychoanalyse Freud’s patients and explore their unconscious, to discover their hidden dreams, their obsessions, as well as the causes of their sexual disturbances.
Thanks to your help they could finally heal…
Because of your mistakes, they could collapse into a whirlwind of pain.
By helping Freud treat his patients, you will analyze their troubled minds. Through their illness, you will learn how our mind behaves in such circumstances. By confronting each personality, together with them, you will discover the depths of human sexuality.
Live Freud’s everyday life by accompanying him in his routine: read the letters he receives every morning, give him a few moments of relaxation to smoke his beloved cigars or to drink a sip of cocaine.
Accompany him to the Eckman Café to meet patrons who could finance his project or go on the nocturnal walks among the palaces of Vienna.
The id, ego, and super-ego are a set of three concepts in the psychoanalytic world describing unique, interacting personalities in the mind of the person. The three agents are theoretical constructs that describe the activities and interactions of the mental life of a person.
Id (represents instinct) - the hungry minotaur:
The Id is entirely unconscious, is the only component of personality that is present from birth. It is the source of all psychic energy and obtains pleasure unconditionally.
Superego (represents morality) - the merciless general:
The Superego assimilates social laws and, through them, a sense of guilt. Punishes the ego when it decides to transgress the rules which Id craves.
Ego (represents reality) - a puppet that aspires to freedom:
The ego is the center of consciousness. Constantly subjected to the demands of the Id and the pressing reproaches of the superego, while being forced to deal with reality.
Fortuna “Axel Fox” Imperatore worked in a cleaning company while completing her studies in Psychology and Philosophy.
Obsessed by her love of video games and psychoanalysis, she decided to put her mantra into practice: “Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish” and combine her greatest passions into a project, Freud’s Bones which was born from a rickety old laptop and through a myriad of adventures.
In 2020, the Kickstarter campaign tripled its goal, raising €15,500 from all over the world. Alone, and equipped with a sense of stubbornness and craziness, Fortuna quit her job, she invested her salary and dedicated her body and soul to her first work.
