Hardwork Simulator
That didn’t work for me. I got caught and got fired for it. They put a younger, prettier assistant in my place. But I doubt she types as fast as I do. They were the ones who lost

On the one hand, I really want to give the game a thumbs up for a creative and somewhat neat idea for a really cheap price.
On the other hand, though, I really must give it a thumbs down for not offering much at all, even at this price level plus thirty percent off; because in the end, cheap does just not justify bland.
I do enjoy any just semi-rewarding grinding game for a while, but looking at the short time invested here, I had rather counted cars drive by my window - even if the game had been for free. Where the game mechanics in any way challenging or rewarding, it would be a different story. However, it is random key bashing in it’s dullest form.

Sierra Ops - Space Strategy Visual Novel
Update after episode 2
This first episode is good but also very very very short. Might be one of the shortest I ever tried. It has an interesting sci-fi setting and introduces the characters but doesnt let you get to know them since you barely get a few lines. It also makes use of flash backs as the main characters clearly has mental wound attached to past incidents. Battle system is ok and unusual for a VN but not too hard to figure it out. The design of characters seems to fit a game like this quite well. Overall it got me interested to see next episode and decide if its good enough to get the season pass.

I won’t lie, this barely tips the needle into recommend rather than neutral. Sierra Ops is basically a visual novel with a light fleet command and time management mechanic attached to it. I think the issue I have with it is that none of the component parts of terribly good. They aren’t BAD, but in trying to cram all of that in here they’ve cut a few corners on each section. Battles are a mixed bag of good, bad, and frustrating. I like a lot of things there but you have to go through so much story to get to them… and when it turns out they’re one the token five minutes and done type battles that can be frustrating. Not to mention the difficulties of introducing various new mechanics and ideas with that pacing. There’s a similar problem with upgrading your ship, by the end of chapter 2 there’s still not that much to choose yet. On the visual novel side the story is… it has potential but I don’t want to give it too much praise or condemnation yet. It’s not completely sold me so far, in either plot or execution, but I have to admit there are some good foundations here and it could make me eat those words in future chapters.

I got gifted this game and I have multiple questions but Damn this game is fun.
Edit: I have finally completed all the acheivments, i never want to touch this game again after the trauma I have witnessed from the screaming furries. Their voices still echo in my head with their blood lingering everywhere on my hands. I have seen pure horror in their eyes.

Gameplay, graphic, sound track, sound effect are not so bad.

Your ship will flying very slow at begin, and the story line are quest running.

I started playing this when arteries was the only map available. The game has come a long ways, the new maps have been enjoyable, and while they still have some things to work on and bugs to crush, I’ve found myself enjoying what is very much like a space / aircraft fighter game with resource harvesting.
Also, if you are a fan of movies like Innerspace or Fantastic Voyage, you may find yourself sucked into this even easier.

Mandala
Mandala in the eastern languages means circle and they are geometric shapes inspired by nature and the world surrounding us. They unfurl from a center and spread out towards the edges, in the direction of infinity. Drawing and coloring a mandala has been a meditative activity since a long time. It lets one explore themselves through an interesting choice of shades which represent a creative stimulation.
Mandala brings forth this experience in a videogame.
Game experience
The game’s rhythm is not hectic, but it requires concentration and reflexes nonetheless: the mandala shoots slow and numerous bullets which move in a rotating fashion. The complex patterns are hard to predict and feel hypnotic. The colors and the music help creating a strong sense of immersion, aided by a steady gameplay rhythm.
Customization
The mandala’s customization is essential: you can choose between various drawings, styles, brushes, tones, themes and music that influence both gameplay and aesthetics. Each game is unique and Mandala gives you total creative freedom.
A linking story
Thin, yet enduring threads link every mandala to each other… like true friendship. Discover the story of Camilla through the pages of a diary; unveil her story by completing all the mandalas in the book.
The editor and social media
When you complete a mandala, it is possible to view your score and be rewarded with various marks, depending on how well you played. There is also an editor in which you can customize the output of your game, export the image in .png format and share it both on social media and online leaderboards.
Main features
-
Immersive, hypnotic gameplay
-
8 mandalas to color with a pastel-styled book
-
32 colors and 8 brushes to unleash your creativity
-
In-game editor for sharing your inspiration on social media
Mystical Mayhem
Disclaimer: I’ve received this game for free via Curator Connect.
Mystical Mayhem is a weird mix of standing wave action and puzzles in the campaign mode. Both parts are mediocre at best.
Main mechanics is punching(and kicking if you have spare Vive trackers) approaching ghosts. It’s not rhythm based or focused on precision, angles or hand speed, you just hit them with a correct glove/boot before the time runs out, while occasionally dodging some projectiles thrown at you. It’s very simple and unrewarding compared to something like BoxVR, Dance Collider or many other games where you punch stuff to the beat.

Double
In Double we play from Carlos´ perspective and we find ourselves in a mental asylum in Cuba. He doesn’t remember how he got there and our mission consists in discovering that through the dialogs. The name of the game has its reason to be, as the duality is present in its design with a narrative + dialog based mode while the protagonist is awake, and a 2D shooter when he is having nightmares. Decisions matter, so depending on which dialog thread we choose we get a different ending. A very interesting plot, totally recommended for psycho-thriller lovers. PS: The soundtrack is fantastic.

You are in an insane asylum from unknown issues causing PTSD fueled nightmares. Double is a game where nothing is certain.
While this game has its issues, I think there is something here that really shines. Where the game play falls short, the story really starts to pick up and draws you in. There are some twists and you are never really sure what is real and what is fake. Are you going insane? The animations are a little janky, the shooting sections can be spammed through, and the music is repetitive, but the characters and evolving plot are enough for me to recommend this game. There is reason enough to go back and play it, and I enjoyed more time with the game than I originally planned. If you are looking for a somewhat creepy mystery story game, I’d say pick it up.
