“Columns…a reference to a very old match 3 puzzle game that this game emulates in no way, shape, or form…”
This is much less a game, than it is, a way to unwind and chill, maybe needle out some emotions.
Well, I say that, but, it is only mostly so, because A-Eye, the main interactive persona, the one ‘controlling everything’, does make it harder at some point, and the chill factor drops until one can pass it, and get the apology waffle.
This is mostly a medium of popular references. Olympics, sports, video games, hobbies, academics&trivia, and even a nod or two towards the likes of authors that wrote about humanity’s downward spiral, though no names are directly mentioned, I definitely got some vibes of George Orwell, to name one.

This is a very simple, 2d game, that in terms of gameplay isn’t extremely exciting but it’s 100% worth just for the story itself. I randomly found this game yesterday and decided to install it, not really expecting much from it. But, the more you “press any button”, the more you get immersed in this story and relate to this cute little character called A-Eye, who, if you are anything like me, you will just want to hug and tell everything is going to be ok, by the time the game is over.
Don’t want to spoil the game too much, but if you have an hour to spare (probably less than that), you should give this game a go. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions.

A Lozenge
What a heartwarming little game this one is. Genuinely a beautiful example of great storytelling, and for the price point, there is no reason to not spare some pocket money on this one. The art fits the game so well in a way I haven’t quite been able to put my finger on yet, but maybe you could give it a play and let me know ;-).

A Lozenge is a short interactive story about what was and what remains. It follows a mother and daughter as they grapple with a new normal. The hurt from the past is an iceberg and there is no inclination of what the future will be like for the duo. The now is what’s in focus as they barrel through the night toward a future that at very least holds pancakes.

Belle-de-Nuit
I was hooked from the start. Never have I ever had such a delightful experience reading interactive fiction, and I feel more open to trying similar games in the future. Sebastian, with his heart of gold and noble soul, stole my heart. The writing is so good. My only complaint is that I don’t feel there was enough build-up in Amaryllis' and Lou’s routes, they didn’t draw my attention to start with haha I’m happy I got to share sweet moments with Sebastian. He’s my definition of husband-material ❤

No Longer Home
NLH is a game made with a great deal of care by very talented people. There’s a lot to explore in it but that’s really on you, the player, to engage with. I’ve played through it three times now (only once on steam) and every time I discover something different I never noticed before, or find a different path to go down. I do think it trusts the player to want to engage with it and think about it and do the legwork. I think it’s probably easy to rush through and that’s where people get short playtimes but it’s a game worth relaxing into and making the effort to explore,

It’s simple: this is Cultural Marxism disguised as a video game.
For reference, I gave this a chance, and finished the game with several achievements.
Let’s start with the good, because credit is due where credit is due:
-
the moving geometry designs are really well executed.
-
the music and sound effect are spot on. Little details here and there give the game its charm.
-
the game won’t make use of it, but supports ultra wide screen (ie, it will boot and run at 21:9 on a 32:9 screen).
Now for the bad.

To Be With You
10/10 would recommend
story was well-written.
Also, this game made me think about my current relation ship.

I don’t say this lightly, but: This is an important game. Sharing their own experiences within a fictional narrative, the developer sheds a light on common abuse dynamics and manipulation tactics and may actually help victims and their friends to recognize abusive behaviour. I especially applaud the decision to include a “Director’s Commentary”, which becomes available after finishing one playthrough and explains the strategies used in the game by an abuser, James, who gaslights, controls, and slowly isolates his partner Alsie from her friends.

Arkhangel: The House of the Seven Stars
So far I have read the equivalent of a 300 page book and I’m only an hour in. I don’t mind that there aren’t any voice actors. What bothers me is that every place our hero goes, he “finds” a stack of books and instead of going about his business, decides to pick each one up and read from it. I understand there’s a theme to the books, but why would you kick off a game with this much reading? Our hero goes into the library where there are about 20 shelves filled with books. I’m not exaggerating when I say that he picks a book from each one of the shelves and reads about 3-5 paragraphs from each book. Then he goes around and reads books on stands too. I love to read but today I decided to play a game instead of reading a book. Unfortunately, the game disagreed with me and made me read a book anyway.

Arkhangel: The House of the Seven Stars is a beautifully great haunting Lovecraftian game; okay let’s talk about the story.
It’s a cold wintery day as Michael Kearney is on a train with his wife Lily and their daughter Gabrielle as they head to their new life in the little town of Haven, where they can put all their troubles behind them and start anew.
But Michael has been having strange dreams about dark waters and an unknown ancient evil resting beneath the cold waves, what could it mean? Is it just anxiety or is it something else. Whatever it is if Michael is not careful it could destroy his whole world.

Dandelions in the Sky
i really love how this game is just a simple game.
don’t play it if you want a long visual novel with a very deep plot or deep characters , this game is just a simple with a short story about bullying with awesome Music and Artstyle nothing more , nothing less.
i really loved the story and how the choices although it’s simple is show you the different result of your decisions in a very realistic way.
good luck for the dev on their next project

Full Review
- A simple, yet touching story – I agree with this fully. The story is simple, it tells of a situation which happens quite often in our days. The main heroinne, Ran Xiaoyu, is so kind and gentle person that the fact she’s being bullied can’t let you feel indifferent. However, you should consider your actions too, since the protagonist, Shi Mo, is not an “usual” person… Though the POV character is male, the story itself shoudn’t feel very uncomfortable for female players.

## OPUS: Echo of Starsong
Well then, where to start…
This game is mostly text, but there are gameplay elements, so if you like being invested in a great story, look no further. As one might guess, this takes place in space. The gameplay elements are not very complicated, though some of them are luck based. Average time for a full playthrough is around 10h. You can grab it on sale, but normally the price shouldn't be very high. The art (the scenes) is quite good, the lore is original and the world (The exploration part) is rather well-made for a 2.5D game. It is not a very difficult game. I really enjoyed it and would recommend you give it a try.

A beautiful experience with great story, deep lore, outstanding music and artworks.
The gameplay consist of planet explorations, puzzle solving, try / roll for luck mechanic tailored into this masterpiece.
If you're searching for something with deep and emotional story, try this.
The soundtracks are definitely worth the purchase. so if you can, get the game with it.
10/10 Absolutely Recommended.
