Ostatni Dzien w Pracy (or The last day at work for English speakers) is a small indie game about a disgruntled employee causing trouble in the workplace as some sort of revenge. To do so, you’ll have a certain time to gather items, destroy/sabotage various objects (highlighted by yellow stars if you can interact with them directly and blue ones if you need something to activate it) & make your colleagues quite unhappy in the process (while avoiding them which is way harder than it sounds at times).

Alzheimer’s: Memories is a game about an old man diagnosed with Alzheimers, who is now trying to remember various aspects of his life such as his friends and family. Follow the “old man” from his perspective of how he views his reality and dreams. See how reality morphs in your mind and experience, the day to day life of a Alzheimer’s patient. I personally don’t know anyone with Alzheimer’s , but I met someone with Dementia of which I understand certain experiences of the game which are very personal to me. It’s interesting to know how reality changes completely for some people, something we as “outsiders” can struggle to understand. This game is a must play if someone you know is struggling with Alzheimer’s or another form of memory loss, but also just to learn about what Alzheimer’s is and how it affects the person who suffers from it.

Initially I found the game to be a little confusing, as I was used to the typical “fast paced action” of other titles.
However, when I realized this was a somewhat puzzle like game. It all clicked (pun not intended, a lot of clicking in the game).
I had a lot of fun playing the game, even though it’s short. It provides some wholesome moments for you and also can give you insight.

Well… it’s something.
The game only has 5 “game modes” which consist of something non-sensical and boring, there isn’t really anything “relaxing” or satisfying about them. The music cannot be adjusted and is pretty loud. Honestly it just feels like a school project from 2005 done by two students that just served to be presented infront of a class and then forgotten. Definetly not worth the money, I got it from a steam gift

Finished in less than an hour. Too short for this price. Dialogs are lame and the story is underwhelming. Puzzles take 3-4 seconds to complete.

“The Hurt in Secret” is different from games full of romantic imagination about campus life or games that accompany students to grow together through games. The style of this game can be said to be too realistic and straight forward to a bit dull. Nevertheless, it pinpoints precisely to all kinds of dilemmas which teachers are dealing with throughout their teaching career. The background of the story is set at the teacher training internship which was practiced by the Teacher Education Act in Taiwan after 2002.The plot of the game is extracted from campus bullying cases that have occurred in recent years. Players will act as a senior student who is participating in the teacher training program. In the game, players have to make decisions based on various limited information that may affect the student’s future and meanwhile the results of their choice may also affect their future teaching career. However, while facing children’s powerlessness, parents' complaints, colleagues' attention, media’s misinterpretation, and senior teachers' high expectations, “choosing” has become a very difficult task.

Attention from Educational Innovation Entrepreneurs
The Education Innovation Alliance called “R.O.L.E” has provided “online simulation scenarios” for educators across the world since 2019. To solve real cases that occurred at school, the organization came up with impromptuly problems solving practice by using real events. Players who participated in this situational simulation once pointed out several problems it were facing. They once expressed their hope that a PC version could be released, so that even if online interaction is not possible for them, they can still enjoy the game alone at home. As a result, Taiwan’s independent game teams “MaouCat studio” and “MuGeNeon” cooperated with the “R.O.L.E” alliance member “Acrossbeavers” to develop this game, and raised funds for development with “Improvpie” and “ACTAsia”. Through this crossover cooperation, the game will be remade into a PC version.
