Day Repeat Day
The match-3 aspect is standard, but the story-telling and choices affecting endings is pretty cool. The overall feel of the game is brilliant and I love stuff like this. Perhaps a bit steep at full price buut it’s a great experience - give it a shot on sale.

WTF did I just play? Just when I thought I’d seen it all, someone mixes a match-3 game with a visual novel and some kind of dystopian/satirical life sim, throws in weird video sequences and lots of social and political commentary, and the result is amazingly good? Like, seriously, it doesn’t only get points for originality, it’s actually really well done. The UI is a bit bare-bones, but the writing is brilliant, the piano music beautiful and atmospheric, and I’m not an expert on match-3 puzzles, but they seemed very good as well - challenging, but not frustrating, and also perfectly integrated in the story.

Depression The Game
Depression The Game(non-patched edition) is definitely not for the faint-hearted, as the experience includes a TV in a living room that shows some clips of real-life self-harm and suicidal acts(with reference/credits). I love the mini comic animation portraying the main character’s routine though :D.
For who to play:
-Healthcare workers
-Victims of low mood
-Anyone who wants to experience or understand what a depressed low-mood person feels or going through in their mind
playthrough
Player begins the game/experience in the main character’s bedroom, with 2 coloured real images of bloody hands hanging on the wall. /playthrough

So this game is a odd case. I refuse to believe that there was any game testers for this game. Before I get into that though, the positives. The textures are mostly alright. The main furniture looks fine for what they are. The audio is alright, besides when you sleep where it gets jumbled. The weird level select or whatever that was is weird. I don’t know if you plan more scenarios in the future or not, but that inclusion in the bad ending is strange. So for the reason I claimed there were no game testers for this game, the negatives of this game make it impossible for the testers to have actually played this game. The spelling errors are all over the place and one particular note where it fails to make a new line when using ‘\n’. Using the wrong form of ‘I’ in every note. Using capitals when they are not supposed to be there, these gems: ‘breave’, ‘coutch’ and the list keeps going. The amount of graphical bugs are hilarious, but I will usually let it go especially since it is your first game and the game was at 90 cents when I bought it. The graphical bugs though were hilarious. The UV job on the heaters were terribly done, because they are hilarious to look at. The gaps in the floor and the wall in the kitchen. The shoes clipping in the shelf. The doors are poorly placed within the door frames, you open some and they slide back into there already broken positions. Also, the paper clipping half way through the shelf and the one stuck behind the aquarium. The bubble column coming out of the fish food was funny as hell. In conclusion, this game was funny to run through finding all the bugs and graphical issues without even trying. This game is a 3/10 in all seriousness. You tried, this was definitely not one of the worst ones for a first timer. But, you got a lot to learn in terms of game design and programming. I will tell you this though, going through and finding these issues made me laugh so much that I couldn’t breave anymore, it almost made me warnt to give this a 4/10 instead of a 3/10, but I went with a 3/10.

Infiltration sequences, small puzzles, combat and mini-games punctuate this emotional journey.

Coffee Talk
One Chocobee Miruku please!
One of my all time favorite games is Va-11 Hall-A and ever since, I’ve been on the lookout for similar games ever since to scratch that itch it left behind. The closest I’ve gotten was playing The Red Strings Club which does have you literally pouring drinks to bring out certain emotions in your customers, but it turned out to be disappointing (for me at least). When I heard about Coffee Talk though, I knew I was going to pick this one up and play it as soon as I could. My decision was hammered home even more after I played the demo. Well, now that Coffee Talk is released how does it fare?

i stole this template ive always wanted to make one of these hehehe
- DIFFICULTY -
this game was not that difficult at all. as i wanted to work on achievements though, i did use a guide from the start. without the guide, i do not think i wouldve gotten the “best” ending the first time. overall, i think the game is a fairly normal difficulty.
- GRAPHICS -
this game has beautiful pixel art!!! i love pixel art. the art in this game is clean and i like it a lot. i wont say its amazing, but overall i think the art for the game is very nice and i think it plays a large part of the enjoyment for the game. each character is very unique and sticks out to me in good ways. there wasnt one character design that fell flat, they all made good impressions on me.

Sovietpunk: Chapter one
First off, the art direction is great. Secondly, the skill of the writing was adequate, if a bit too simple and without personality to make it really pop or entice you like the art.
The rest, however, is less favorable. It’s like a foundation meant for a house that won’t seem to exist until some unknown time in the future. The world has what I think is a very interesting premise. Unfortunately, it’s just all implications for now. You see parts here and there that could be fleshed out, but are left as little nods. Perhaps this game is a taste of what might be a a more exciting sequel (it’s practically advertised at the end - an end that’s feels too vague and without real impact). If this is so, 99 cents isn’t a bad price for a glorified trailer. But if the sequel is released and does not evolve the gameplay or immerse you in the world, this is a waste of money. The future in this game is bleak. Let’s hope the future of this series isn’t.

CLOSED HANDS
Overall a very well written interactive story that follows the lives of six characters in relation to an event that affects the whole community they are a part of. The format allows you to follow each of the character’s story in whatever order you want and if you want to explore other paths, you don’t have to restart the game (which I think is a very nice feature).
Follow the tragic story of a working class white man in his fight against corporate woke-ism and cancel culture in a world that does not care if he is left behind, the adventure of a mixed race boss girl who is not afraid to tell old people that their proven ways of working are bad, a young man who is radicalized by an Antifa-esque organization, a reported who has to choose between click baits and the truth and a parent who has lost control of their child and does not know/care what he is up to.

Very interesting story. I initially thought the game would be like Orwell but this is entirely different. Only the initial plot is the same : there was a bombing. We are skimming through a script offered through various means (text like in a book, chat, emails, conversations,…) each split into timelines.
We go through several branches of the story as we like to pursue the details and get to the end of the scenario, viewed from 5 different characters. Each story is unique by the way it is delivered and very true at the same time. We can picture the scenes easily while reading the fragments of stories. The writing is particularly polished, so polished it like this would have been a great drama tv series for instance.

Imaginaria is a short game where you explore an antarctic science station. It combines walking simulator and point & click elements, but the game side of it is light as you only have a handful of choices to make. It’s more of a fun, interesting exploration of the dev’s experience.
