Probably Archery
I’ve played this game since the 7DFPS version and trialed the demo when it was on Greenlight. The concept of the game is unique and interesting, but the execution of the full release leaves a bit to be desired and seems to be a stray shot.
Getting the hang of the controls is half the fun. However, once you understand how the bow and the arms work (as a veteran of Probably Archery, and probably a real-life archer), the challenge is significantly diminished since repetition of the correct technique is not at all difficult. Unless you’re going for pinpoint accuracy and high scores, you can beat all the minigames within 20 minutes.

MY GOD THIS GAME! It took me almost two freaking hours to complete target practice, eight simple still targets. I can’t even think about ADVANCED targets where they actually move around.
The controls are god awful, half the time you’re struggling to nock the friggin arrow because even though my hand is right on the string it says my arrow is too far to nock, because apparently your balloon head can’t send the appropriate brain signals to your sack of potato body to complete a simple task! Then if you miss (witch you will, many many times) it’s such a pain in the butt to draw your arrow and line your arms up correctly, and make a sad attempt at shooting. I could keeping going on on how bad the controls are but, for the sake of this review I’ll leave it for you to experience. The game was meant to have bad controls after all.

Speaking Simulator
I, like many humans, enjoy the process of moving facial muscles in order to make audible sounds of communication. I recommend this educational experience to any fellow biological human who wishes to inefficiently spend time having what is often called fun.
Also contains inspirational messages about the future which can help briefly dampen the crushing effects of the fragile human condition.

It is difficult to convey how much of a struggle moving my mandible muscles in tandem with emoting my human eyebrows and lips while not making too much or too little eye contact in the same time period; however it provides me great solace that I can shake my human booty in a more sexually attractive and pleasing manner than Karen from HR and her robotic gyrations. After participating in this speech exercise program, I am well on my way to dominating the feeble minds of the weak humans inhabiting my town, then soon the world.

Beautiful game. Nothing can compare to this masterpiece, out of all the game I’ve played, this game tops it. The graphics, art, story-telling, game play, just…. Everything is beautiful about this game. Difficulty wise, yeah, it’s hard, but that’s the charm of the Cantaloper! If you can’t overcome the challenge, you’re not a true fan of Cantaloper. The time spent in this game was well spent, I will continue to keep on adding those hours without any regret. Sometimes, this game hurts, but what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger! I come back motivated and determined to progress further into this game. Every time I fall down, I always make it back up! The treacherous journey through the worlds really brightens up my day. Thank you to the developers for creating and programming Cantaloper.

Cranked Up
Initially found the game didn’t have enough content, but with the lava versions of levels, secret levels, and the challenge mode, there’s a surprising amount to do. Game feels fun to play and explore through, story is pretty basic but still fun, and the challenging ramps up pretty gradually. Definitely recommend to give it a go and see if it’s for you.

The game is really fun and can be very challenging to complete all levels in all modes, especially in “Floor is Lava”. Very dynamic and the songs are really good. Can’t wait for the new modes levels !

Make Me LAG
Definitely an interesting game to try. Many games become easier when your pc is better. This is the only game that becomes harder as your processing speed gets higher. Beyond that, I just think it’s neat to see a game which has all of its gameplay outside of the game itself. You can play this game literally any way you want because in order to accomplish your purposes, you need to change your computer’s state, not control the game itself. I thought the description meant that there was actual gameplay, plus you had some sort of advantage if you got the game to lag. This was certainly different. There are literally no controls in the game. Every action happens based on your fps.

Make Me LAG is a free game with a new control scheme. It worked on Win 10, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. You have to make the game Lag to perform game moves. You sort of have to figure out how to make the game Lag consistently to actually succeed in this game. Has 5 open steam achievements. Has a timer that you have to beat.
Try it for the steam achievements.

SPINGUN
Spingun is a 2D retro pixel “spacewar/moon lander” ripoff with a gimmick. Instead of reasonable controls, the developer decided only left and right arrow will work. Left arrow gives a little thrust to the left, right to the right. Alternating this will propel you like a fish. Tapping both left and right shoots your weapon. Collect weapon upgrades and shoot the baddies.
It’s a massive failure in game design if, lacking the competence to create decent graphics, compelling story or gameplay, interactive content, or any of the elements that successful games bring to the table, you instead decide that you should rip off games from the late 1970’s but make the controls worse, because you think players like bashing their hands on two keys like demented chimpanzees. The retro pixel graphics are lazy and bad enough, but this game gets a thumbs down for the developers sheer misunderstanding of the correct species attributed to PC gamers.

First impressions: This is worth more than $1.99
EDIT I am now addicted
Do yourself a favour and buy this
Then do yourself a favour and buy this on your phone
It’ll cost you less than a fiver for both
ANOTHER EDIT Long train rides and boring waiting rooms now get me excited, just an excuse to play more spingun! The game seems to make more sense on a phone as the controls are well placed and ultra responsive (no travel time for buttons). Also the look and feel of having everything so tiny on a phone is also super cool imo. Some way for your acheivements and scores to cross over between the phone and computer versions would be great.

Just, Bearly
I really wish steam had a “meh” option.
The game and concept are AWESOME and the game is really great.
But I can not give this a good rating for a few reasons:
-
It took me about 30 minutes of play time to get it to be more then just a white screen and be playable
-
It crashes once every chapter near the end, this means you that to finish the game I have had to play each chapter just about twice
-
I have finished the game 5 times and have yet to get the achievement for finishing it twice.

Okay, its harsh to vote it down, i know. But hear me out.
1st) i think a game with more than overwhemlingly positive reviews can take it. so lets be honest.
2nd) Game is fun and a good idea, but it does have issues.
Now that these Main Points are out of the way, let me explain.
First off, the game is free, i’d highly recommend you trying it out if you are interessted (or even if you are not, actually) but i also want to warn people about some stuff. Its short - and i mean super super short. Like 20 mins. This isnt bad, lots of free games are pretty short.

Godly Corp
What a great hidden gem!
A game where you play as a tentacle monster working in an office already promisses originality.
I was reluctant at first, not beeing an avid indie games player, but after playing it for a bit, it really grew on me.
The controls take a while to master, which is a good thing: the feeling of achievement after beating harder levels on hard difficulty is truly great!
The game isn’t very long, about 2 - 4 hours on average to play through all levels. It isn’t a bad thing though, because you can always keep trying to beat the previous high score or other players' scores on theglobal leaderboard.

The Short of it: Not exactly my cup of tea in the long run, but I get why it’s popular. It can be funny, frustrating, and challenging. I think the humour is its best quality. It truly tests your multi-tasking limits.
Reminds me of: If you liked any of those surgeon simulator type games, you’ll probably like Godly Corp.

Juan v Juan
A solid typing-shooter with hilariously creative character art and design. Although frustrating when my opponent can apparently type as fast as a macro, I can see this being a neat, chill game to play.

Juan v Juan is a simple game but has a unique charm within it. It reminds me the days when my dad took me to work and i played browser games on his pc. Back then i was laughing in enjoyment to silly kid games but with this game im laughing because of frustration.
Jokes aside the game might look easy to play but trust me when you load the game up for the first time read the fucking “How to play” if you don’t want to look like an idiot. It’s not just about shooting, what makes the game interesting is the whole reloading concept with balanced perks you unlock later on in the game. The pixel art is also pleasing to look at.
