The Adventures of Mr. Bobley
A 10/10 masterpiece. For starters, the graphics are absolutely stunning, with Bobley himself being one of the most aesthetically pleasing characters this gamer has ever laid their eyes on. Gameplay wise, you will find yourself constantly faced with daunting moral dilemmas that will make you question your definition of right and wrong. The puzzles are delightfully balanced so as not to be too easy or too frustrating; just the right amount of challenge for everyone. And the platforming, oh my the platforming. What can I say other than that it’s absolutely splendid. It will remind you of classic platformers like Super Mario 64 and Jak and Daxter, all while still maintaining a unique feel all its own.

Max and the Magic Marker
A great game for kids. Even I enjoyed it. It’s a fun platformer where you have to use the mouse (your magic marker) to draw in missing platforms to help Max run through the level. No shooting, no violence whatsoever, except that you can kill the purple meanies by hitting them with your magic marker created platforms and they disappear in a cloud of smoke, almost. The game makes good use of simple gravity physics. I found it to be a great fun challenge for my 4 year old. We had fun playing together.

short version: i highly recommend this game for younger players and/or on discounts
longer version: by looking at the screen shots you can see what the concept of the game is. draw things to help the platforming. me and my niece played about 30 hours (one drawing, the other platforming) of this game when she was about 6 and she loved it (as did i :P ). the game ran smoothly and i don’t recall ever having technical difficulties with this game (at the time, 32bit vista)
why are people dissatisfied and or saying this is a kids game?

ADIOS Amigos: A Space Physics Odyssey
The best game I’ve played in a long time. What makes the game so good is the awesome physics model and the refreshing new game mechanics. Everyone that has once thought Angry Birds (or some other physics model based game) is great and is not afraid to face higher difficulty levels or roguelike games, should definitely try this. You can even increase speed of time and fly slowly to save fuel and perform gravitational slingshots. Easiest mode is winnable with rudimentary skills, but the highest difficulty level requires either really high skills or insane luck.

I am pleased to announce that ADIOS Amigos is the second contender for the iGOTY 2018 award.

What a quirky yet pleasant surprise we have here with ADIOS Amigos. This is very refreshing in just such a chill way. But don’t get me wrong, there is certainly challenge and drive here too. This title takes some design risks, and I think they pay off handsomely.
Essentially, this is a run-based score-chaser where each level is a solar system. The whole thing is a physics sandbox, and I might add that the physics feels better than most, if not all, in this small genre. The core game mechanic is discovery. Every time you discover things on planets, you get points. These things could anything from dumpsters, to rocks, to aliens, to space junk. You get enough points, and then you are free to jump to the next level/solar system. Obviously if you are score-chasing, you want to stick around and try to get the harder points on the level. Or you could just skim the cream with the easy points and rush off.

Pretty fun little puzzle type game here…it’s tough but fair, although I prefer the side scrolling platforming of the first game. Wish it had more achievements but not gonna complain.

Baby Dino Adventures
This is a great platformer reminiscent of the old school ones but with a lot of original twists. And let’s face it, everything is so cute! 🤗

Baby Dino Adventures is a cute 2D platformer in which you control a young baby dinosaur as he collects eggs, destroys crates and makes friends by stomping on their heads. There’s even a vegan option that replaces the collectable steaks by broccoli (HOW CUTE IS THAT!?)
It’s a perfect game for kids (my 5yo daughters loves it!) as well as retro-loving parents who just want to have a great time.

Can You find it?
Definitely a cool little game that gives you quite a challenge on a specific mode.
If you only have a couple minutes of time before leaving the house, this game fits perfectly for such situation.
I can totally recommend this game if you just want to turn of your mind for a bit, so now I’m asking you folks, can you find it? :-)

At $1 there’s almost no reason not to get this. It’s well executed, and a great palate-cleanser between heavier games, or for the times when you just want to play something brainless and mildly challenging. It also works as a couple game, in the same vein as photo hunts.

Color by Numbers - Halloween
A family-friendly color-by-numbers game with Halloween scenes. Players learn numbers as they select the correct color to paint a scene. The easy-to-use interface and accessible gameplay modes provide a wide selection of options to replace numbers (shapes, and some early math for example), and the creative modes let players choose any colors instead of default to bring their own personality to the images they create.

It was with some sadness that I leave this negative review. My 3 year old loved Halloween this year and this game looks like a great idea. Paint by the numbers … it seemed an excellent way to introduce some hand/eye/mouse coordination while reinforcing numbers and colors.
Great idea, poorly implemented. Unfortunately, the screen flashes (despite a steady 60 FPS) while the mouse pointer disappears and there is interference running across most of the screen. Modifying (stumbling through) the preferences, forcing OpenGL, forcing windowed mode, using a different graphics driver, using a different OS - none of these workarounds provided a solution. I even implemented a tweak recommended for Unity games that have these symptoms, that did not work either. I emailed the developer and included logs. It has been a week and there has been no response at all.

Feed A Titanosaur
Fantastic! No better way to introduce people to VR and get little kids to experience something they will never forget. It is short though.
