KNIGHTS

KNIGHTS

Gameplay:

How to play the game:

Very simple, anyone who’s ever liked playing chess will definitely learn how this game is played instantly. The game is about moving red and blue knights over boards of chess to red/blue highlighted tiles, as in a game of chess, knights can only move in L-shaped direction (2 tiles straight and then 1 tile to side), the knights can jump over whatever it’s standing in their way, as long as the tile they’re meant to go to is empty. To clear a level, every red knight has to stand in a red tile, as well as every blue knight in blue tile (the easiest levels only contain knights of 1 color).

even though I’m not into chess, I had a good time playing knights. there’s not much to it, you can only move the pieces like you would if you were playing chess, but you only have different colored knights here that you have to move around until they end up where they should be, blue ones on a square with a blue silhouette, red ones on a red. yellow figures are just there to cause you pain and block your movement but they can also be moved around.

Puzzle Cafe VR

Puzzle Cafe VR

‘Puzzle Cafe VR’ is pretty much what its title suggests it is. This is a jigsaw puzzle game set in a small Jigsaw Puzzle Cafe (and yes, that is a real thing). So you start off with just one puzzle and I started to put the bits together. I then realised that the timer had started the moment I loaded the game, but that was not the worst thing here. Having paid the £3.99 for the full game I was then “timed out” for the demo being only able to play for 3 minutes and that was it! I couldn’t do anything and I couldn’t finish the puzzle. Until this major issue is fixed I suggest no-one else downloads it.

Battle Map Studio

Decent map maker considering the fact that it’s early access. Would love a way to make custom assets. And an option for steam remote play would be amazing as my players have no need to make maps, only play on them. OR make a heavily discounted version of the program that only allows playing.

The UI is garbage as of now, hopefuly it improves over time. Will probably just use it to make custom top down 2d maps until it gets usable. Will rewrite the review when/if i test this thing out a bit more.

The Confession

The Confession

So I found this game while browsing my reccomended feed and my curiosity was piqued. With the price being cheap enough as it is, and with a bunch of time at my disposal, I couldn’t help but give it a try.

Honestly, it was completely worth it the money for the laughs, the absurdity and the horniness of it. Not knowing anything about the other work of this developer too, message after the end really intrigued me and I feel like i’m about to go down a rabbit hole.

I also genuinely admire the intent behind this game too, since it’s clear that it was just meant to be a silly little distraction, in a time where such a thing is sorely needed.

So far today I have played The Test, The Test: Hypothesis Rising, and The Confession.

This one certainly brought the chuckles AND the WTF’s. I was cursed with four years of riding a White Rhino’s horn, which is tough, but fair…maybe,.. I honestly don’t know what I did to deserve that but here we are.

Reminds me of Hypothesis Rising in that it had multiple choice, Would You Rather, and Yes or No styles of questions/answers, which I love (although the OG’s simple yes/no format is fine with me, too).

The Twins

The Twins

It’s very similar to The Summoning and shares a lot of the same references in the story.

It’s more Lore Based and opens up on the history of The Summoning, and the poems are a nice bonus feature that adds a level of creepiness to the atmosphere.

While it felt very similar, it simultaneously felt very different in its own, positive way.

I enjoyed both of these experiences even though The Summoning scared the daylights out of me at first.

Real player with 3.1 hrs in game

I think I enjoyed The Summoning better just because it was the first one, but I think The Twins really added a lot more depth. It was good to get more of the story in a way, rather than just the experience the first game offered. I don’t think these games have to be played in order though. I also played The Summoning with a friend but I played The Twins on my own so maybe it would have been more fun with company. I don’t really believe in supernatural stuff though so I think watching my friend who does added a lot of fun to it. I’ve seen first hand just how scared someone can get if they do all of the rituals rather than just skim over them. I think if you don’t play the game the way it’s meant to be played, then you’re gonna have a bad time. If you follow the instructions, your chances of having a good time increase significantly, again, if you’re into this sort of stuff.

Masters of Puzzle

Masters of Puzzle

A jigsaw puzzle program for the serious puzzler. Beautiful classical Art and holiday themed challenges. This is a EA program and still has some features to be added and you can run into some bugs, however the Developer is very involved and quickly responds to your concerns. There is a bit of a learning curve but nothing that shouldn’t be clear after the first puzzle or two.

This is not for the person looking for an hours entertainment. These puzzles are challenging and time consuming. They can take up to an hour or more just unloading the Puzzle box and organizing depending on the number of pieces you select. I have 192 hours logged as of this review and highly recommend this program.

Real player with 4025.5 hrs in game

This game brings a whole new take on the jigsaw puzzle theme, and attempts to recreate the true 3D feel of a puzzle board, including the box and all the pieces modeled as you would pick them up by hand, rotate them, and place them. Full keyboard control makes it very easy to move around (WASD and other natural key settings). The game is in EA so it’s understood that many features are still in development, but what is there on day one can already keep one entertained for very long, since there’s the option to play the puzzles also with very large numbers of pieces. Surely a project that deserves support!

Magic Stone Guardians

Magic Stone Guardians

Magis Stone Guardians is a tower defense game that can be played in VR.

You play as a guardian deity protecting an underground temple and fight off enemies who try to steal the crystal.

Since the player is a spirit, he cannot attack the enemies directly.

Instead, they can summon Guardians by combining Magic Stones.

Watch and enjoy the battle between the guardians and the enemies.

How to battle

  • Grab the Magic Stone

You can grab it by holding the pointer from your hand over the magic stone and pressing the grip or trigger button.

  • Place the Magic Stone on the floor.

If you release the button while holding the magic stone, you can place it on the floor.

  • Summon the Guardian

By placing white and other colored Magic Stones next to each other, you can summon a Guardian for that combination!

How to strengthen the Guardian

.

  • Select the Guardian figure on the desk in the My Room.

You can select it by pressing the grip button or trigger button with the pointer aligned

  • Pick up the Guardian you want to enhance.

You can pick up the Guardian you want to strengthen by pressing the grip button or the trigger button while the pointer is aligned.

  • Pick up the enhanced energy stored in the ceiling.

You can pick it up by pressing the grip button or trigger button with the pointer in place.

  • Move the energy you picked up closer to the Guardian you want to strengthen to raise its level.

The strengthening energy will be absorbed by the Guardian and the level will increase.

Pixel Puzzles 4k: Japan

Pixel Puzzles 4k: Japan

It’s nice to have classic shaped puzzle pieces rather than the types you can find in Pixel Puzzles Ultimate, It’s also nice to have puzzles that aren’t too big, 800/1000 piece puzzles are too big for digital puzzle games played on monitors making them more of a chore than an enjoyable experience.

Real player with 18.9 hrs in game

This appears to be a next-generation Pixel Puzzles game. Next generation as the game’s graphics have been enhanced. Some puzzles are the same or similar to those from PP: Japan. Some are new. The biggest issue is that perhaps no all computers are ready to handle these images easily. Moving pieces for me was rather slow. As well as the pieces needing to be exactly in their correct position to lock-in. You still cannot combine pieces outside of their proper positions. Would recommend. Oh, and be sure to grab a fish and put it in the water pipe…

I love Dad Jokes and this did not disappoint!! This was a great distraction from what is going on in our world right now!! Thanks to the developers of this silly game!! Totally worth the small amount I paid. 3

Okay, this was amazing LMAO

I’m a big fan of stupid humor and there were a few jokes I’ve heard before, but even one or two new ones is well worth the low pricetag. I’ve already sent a few of these jokes to my sister and best friend and they were dying. lol

And there’s like, hundreds of jokes here. Really can’t complain at all, thoroughly satisfied with this one! :)

Woops forgot to put my word in my review, haha.

The word it gave me was Ridiculous.

I love it!
