Dash Dash World
I have tried nearly every VR kart racer trying to get that Mario Kart fix in VR. Everything I had tried previously has fallen woefully short of the mark, but this game has impressed me so far.
The courses are detailed and interesting with lots going on including active stage hazard to dodge and include shortcuts, alternate routes, boost pads etc. About half of the courses are marked extreme and these are my favorites, they have lots of verticality like the anti-grav sections of MK8.
Weapon selection is good and the interactivity of the weapons is a lot of fun. You can counter some attacks, certain exploding weapons for instance that stick to you can be shaken off with your hands before they explode or items like the eggs that stick to your face can be quickly wiped off to negate their effects. Also the minimap allows you to see long range attacks coming and move over to dodge, which is a nice improvement, feels a bit more skill based to dodge so I appreciate this touch.

Tl;Dr: This is truly THE Mario Kart in VR. From customisation options to single player content to control schemes, you WANT this in your library.
I’ve been playing Dash Dash World since the Beta on the Oculus store. The game still lives up to all the promises it’s been aiming to keep since the beta and I’ve enjoyed every moment of it.
For starters, there are a wide amount of control schemes to pick from. From simple analog stick controls allowing you to duel wield items like a mad man, to proper racing setups (although from word of mouth, it could use a bit of tweaking for it to reach some fun results). You can also enable Immersive controls which let you use your controllers to steer. You can also swap which hand you’d like to steer more while aiming with your right hand.

Karaski: What Goes Up…
It’s October 1923, my name is Jan Kowalski and I am honored to be one of the first passengers onboard the airship A. A. Karaski. When I joined this miracle of technology, I was excited with curiosity, how it works and what I’ll experience during the flight. I actually thought that I would spend the entire journey in a bar on the upper deck sipping fancy whiskey with casual conversation. After boarding, I picked up a boarding pass, introduced myself to a guide of the airship and headed to my cabin. Well, was just going to, because just around the corner I somehow fainted and my plan was screwed a little. A lot.

Take to the skies in this whodunit mystery. You will take on the role of a passenger on this one of a kind airship, but something has gone wrong. The airship has been sabotage, but who has done it. Was it you? Will you be able to uncover who did it? Will you be caught snooping around and have everyone expect you of doing this heinous act?
In Karaski: What Goes Up… this is exactly what you’ll be doing. You will be playing through the game with your main mission being to get to the bottom of the mystery of the sabotage, but there are other quests that you can take on to perhaps pry information from other passengers. In this game you will have the chance to bribe guards to look the other way, entice passengers with the promise of alcohol, and of course gain tools that will allow you access to different areas of the ship.

To My Best Friend
Just as the description says, this is a short narrative about two friends and their memories together. It is a full-on walking simulator with no stress. Beautiful music! I think the graphics are beautiful, although there are a few floating trees, and basically low-budget looking areas.
All in all, it’s a good, bittersweet short story with colorful and creative areas to walk through. I recommend it.

Starship Saboteur Prototype
Nice prototype… worth playing. Some things I would change, tho:
1 - The models keep squirming after you killed them, even after you try to hide them inside a box
2 - I would make the pistol sound also noticeable to those who are close
Overall, there’s a lot of potential ;), imho

Forgetter
Disclaimer: I helped out with testing the game and got the game as a free copy.
The game is mostly a “walking simulator”, so the gameplay is kept relatively simple and the focus lies more on the experience of entering the very different minds of two artists and exploring their memories and traumas. Some of these memories I kind of expected (e.g. pressure from parents) but there are also other memories, some of them even pleasant that I didn’t see coming. Personally, it felt like I got to know two people by discovering some of their key memories, which was interesting to me, because I don’t know much about the artist life. I would have liked to see the game explore the different ways the “brain recycling” technology plays out for people, like in an episode of “Black Mirror”.

Novice developers from Hong Kong were very kind to submit the game to my curator page https://store.steampowered.com/curator/26168615-Video-Games-Art-International/ and ask for my opinion.
I would thank developers with a positive review, but this is more kinda mixed review.
The game is in first person view and allows for free exploration of 3D environments. Incipit of story is very intriguing and original. You’re a young girl on probation for a new weird job at MindJob corporation. You’re a “forgetter”. Your mission is to clear the minds of famous deceased artists! Yes, at MindJob they recycle the minds of geniuses and artists and implant them in children brains! Families pay for their children to be next generation geniuses and artists! But artists and geniuses minds are affected by traumatic memories and deviant behavior, so you have to erase and clean them before the new implant! Do you want your son to be the next Van Gogh but with both the ears, without deviant behavior? Mindjob has the solution for you! :-)

Keyword: A Spider’s Thread
Best detective/difficult puzzle solving game of 2021, hands down.
Average playtime for Normal Ending is 3-7 hours depending on how fast you will catch up with the main mechanics of solving puzzles in this game.
Game features a big plot reveal near the end which gamers generally call getting “mind-blown” similarly like in Zero Escape, Danganronpa, AI: Somnium Files, Phoenix Wright games. During playthrough, expect to get some chills down your spine as it won’t be a happy story that’s for sure.
Needless to say, I am also impressed by high quality textures around the main gameplay area (that’s basically going to be your entire playground) and when you zoom in around literally in most corners of your vision in the city. You can peep anywhere and visuals aren’t compromised.

Good story with mystery, suspense, exploration and light hacking; it has some fresh features but don’t expect anything groundbreaking. You are in your house for the majority of the game (about 3 hours, don’t mind my play time it was because of a bug) and most of that time is spent on your computer, so reconsider if you don’t enjoy games that take place in a single setting. My review is more neutral than a positive, mainly due to the bugs that affected the gameplay it oftentimes felt like I was playing an unpolished game in early access. I’d recommend this game on the terms of waiting for the bugs to get fixed and a good sale.
