if you like beating your head against the wall then this game is for you. Personally I would prefer smoother game play without having to follow a course so exacting that you have to do it over and over and over. i would actually rather beat my head against the wall. this is so frustrating and maddening you will probably reach the same conclusion. it looks good sounds good but don’t - I wish i hadn’t bought it.

It’s like being in a movie

This is a pretty unique and fun VR title. It is more like you are the main character in a movie than a game. You get to fly a spaceship, walk around on a lava planet, etc. Very immersive and really makes you feel like you are in a story. Definitely some fun puzzles and challenges. Nice graphics and music.

Much better with the Enhanced VR quality setting if your GPU can handle it.

EDIT: Bottom of this reivew for some updates

This is such a beautiful game already!

A beautiful homage to cats (the developers used their real kitty sounds, and pictures) and their perspective of the world.

It makes you feel tiny and defenseless, but at the same time smart and cunning.

There already are some incredible elements to be taken into account, first and foremost, the atmospheric poignancy. With the 3D audio enabled, it really feels like being immersed in a rainy forest!

The story is extremely promising, and all the little details and collectibles scattered throughout the map make exploration meaningful…

I recommend this game strictly on the idea of being able to play as a cat, this game needs work!!!!!!

The idea of playing as a cat and having an adventure is probably a dream for 90% of gamer’s out there…..I completely understand everyone’s frustration when it came to playing this game. Here were some of the issues I ran into:

Controlling the cat is just odd, it doesn’t feel like true 360 to turn around. I know I see him in 3rd but I feel like i’m still turning in 1st person….if that makes sense?

Private Agent

Fire as many bullets!

Private Agent" is a VR gun shooting game compatible with Oculus Rift (Oculus Quest + Oculus Link).

You can switch between various weapons and aim to conquer stage bosses.

The player is asked to destroy the criminal organization Echidna and confront the organization.

When you run out of ammunition, you can discard the entire weapon and take out a new one with the AR armory system, so there is no need to reload or perform other difficult operations.

Some weapons can be held in both hands, so you can use two pistols for a barrage or a handgun and knife for a CQC style fight.

Experience the flashy gun action with simple controls!

res nullius, res communes, res publicae, res universitati

  • no copyright notification on release material

  • copyright renewal lapsed (up to 1978 release)

  • 95 years or older (USA) or 70 years after death (which ever is shorter)

great idea for public domain films. while they are free in many forms, this is another good option.

i have played through all the dlc currently. 10 dlc + base game = 11 films.

is it “horror” well, definition of horror extends greatly to many things

while some would be more considered “scifi” than horror, its more of the consensus that each film is categorized as horror film.

i love how they made these films interactive and my decisions actually made a difference, really awesome. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

This game is something else, in a great/scary way. I was surprised to be presented with full voice acting throughout the game. I was expecting it to be another fnaf clone but this is far from anything that fnaf has shown us. I have noticed very few bugs even though it is still in early access, so that is something you should expect.

I will now go through the pros and cons of this game…

PROS

*Full voice acting

*Engaging storyline

*Great jumpscares

*ONLY 2 DOLLARS!!

*Fantastic Lighting

CONS

*The only con for this game would be that you dont own it yet!! ;)

TUNGUSKA: A Call in the Woods

TUNGUSKA: A Call in the Woods

A distress call over the radio shakes you from your thoughts. A man has gone missing in the woods and someone or something terrible is after him. You better get going…

TUNGUSKA: A Call in the Woods is a unique mix of interactive storytelling, survival and orienteering. Make your way through dense Siberian woods in search of a missing person. But be careful - if you get lost, there will be no help. You may be the only living human being for hundreds of miles of taiga after all.

Key features

  • Path-finding with a paper map & compass is a core gameplay aspect. Be aware of your surroundings at all times, put notes on the map, look for landmarks, learn to take bearings - and you will not get lost. Probably.

  • Rewarding exploration. The more you wander off-trail, the more chances you get to piece together what is happening here.

  • Dangers of the woods. This forest has something far more deadly than bears or a swarm of ticks. Watch your step.

  • Gorgeous visuals. Forests and swamps, fields and rivers - all with fully dynamic lighting and hi-res textures made with Unreal Engine and Megascans.

Carrier Command 2 VR

Carrier Command 2 VR

I have only played a brief little bit, but so far I have been able to control my units, drive the carrier, and do the first island mission without any problems in VR, but I am using Valve Index Controllers so I do not know how it will work on other types.

My only concern is that the carrier’s main camera looks a little funky as it is like a big circular 2D screen inside a glass sphere that you are standing in and for a few moments I didn’t know what I was looking at or why the screen was in my way. Once I started moving the camera and zooming in it all made sense and I was able to use it no problem. It does look weird though and makes you wonder where you are and what happened the first time you use it.

Yes, now I can recommend this game since the latest update allows all functions to work with my Odyssey+, even though the devs don’t officially support WMR. (I’m hoping they will later, however.) I did have to use a community-made set of bindings, but everything works with the only exception being the air/sea radar, where I can’t seem to increase or decrease the scan range. Fortunately, the default value of 1250m still works just fine, so it’s not a game-breaking issue. I haven’t tried modifying the bindings, so it’s possible that I could still find out the fix for it. I spent about 2 hours capturing 3 islands and I had no trouble using all the same tactics that I would in pancake mode, although it took me the first 30 minutes just figuring out what all the controller buttons did. But once I did, I was bounding between screens and stations, giving orders to units, operating gimbal cameras, manipulating maps, and driving the carrier with ease. The only really hard part was doing it all standing up… I need to get a chair next time, as my feet were starting to hurt by the 3rd island captured.

The Steam store page description really got me hyped for this game. I was expecting that game, unfortunately, what I got was rather disappointing. It’s not a bad game, it just wasn’t really interesting for me either.

I did 4-5 playthroughs and I want to say the average was 5 minutes long. Each time I did get different results, but none of them were all that captivating. You can move around the AI creatures, you can rotate the sky around to get a better view, or you can plant plants that will change the rotation of the planet. You’ll get different results.

I wasted 45 minutes looking for intelligence.

Didn’t find any, artificial or otherwise.

5 actors that do nothing but bully each other. Constantly. Trained or not. In the real world, you can watch mono-cellular organisms with more sophisticated behaviours under a microscope.

Storytelling is miserably ineffectual. In this movie with minimal external input, the camera regularly takes control to focus on… well, nothing but stupid cartoonish punches, really. And the actors have less evocative power than wooden door knobs.
