Peripeteia
Peripeteia is an upcoming first-and-third-person game, mixing shooter, stealth and RPG mechanics. Heavily inspired by immersive sims made by Ion Storm and Looking Glass Studios; Peripeteia expands upon the formula with original ideas and an unexplored setting.
In an alternate history cyberpunk Poland, a young cybernetic supersoldier named Marie must make her way as a Mercenary in a post-Soviet city full of corruption and opportunity; where nations, powerful factions and ideologies clash.
You will be forced to use your wits, tact, and raw violent nature to complete tasks shrouded in conspiracy and mystery. Logic, skill and ruthless cunning will win you the day in an interactive and highly adaptive world. When that fails, a loaded gun and the ability to create your own climbing routes virtually anywhere, will suffice.
Have you found yourself hungering for a sense of survival, accomplishment, and player choice long absent from this dark and belied industry? Then consider joining us in the lights of the Eastern Night with Peripeteia.

Tin Can
I came across this game whilst browsing for titles under £12 & Im sooooo glad I did cus I might not of ever discovered it under its own name & what it represents: “Tin Can.”
The game puts you in an escape pod being launched from a large exploding Spacecraft.(cutscene) It is then upto you to survive has long has you can by managing the different systems via there components aboard the “Pod” from steller “events” occuring in space - which are (ATM) Ice Nebulas, Electrical Nebulas, Asteriod Collisions & Star Proximities. Each of which event requires different ways of handling your Pods systems & there components to survive them. In saying that there is a learning curve.

One of the best system simulations in an indie game. It focuses heavily on this aspect, and the production quality is very high probably partially thanks to the narrow focus. But even after you have seen all of the basics of the gameplay loop, you still haven’t seen everything.
There is more than meets the eye
Tin Can reveals surprising depth and attention to detail in the systems simulation, as well as how external events in space affect them. There are multiple ways to deal with problems with varying effectiveness and amount of work, time and danger involved in solving them. There are strategies to deal with individual problems, as well as overall strategy with how you approach your entire run. Experimenting with different approaches extend the hours of fun you’ll get out of this. Although I have to mention that I have found “the best” solution to each of the encounters that I would be tempted to use every time if the idea of experimentation wasn’t more interesting.

What We Pretend To Be
Cheap, relaxing and really nice soundtrack.
This is the kind of game you buy if you have some money to spare, and you’re in need of a casual relaxation game. There is no point to the game, and it’s really really short, but honestly, I think it was worth the small fee. I love the graphic style, and the lighting is god-tier, but the texturing is kinda off-putting in some areas, with glitching clouds and the ground clipping with the grass. There’s not much to the story, but that’s not really the appeal of the game, so I wouldn’t leave much criticism there.

Very short game play, not much story. Mindless wheat farming, once the builder dies you can’t make any more improvements to your town.

So I left this review simmering for far too long - and I have been admittedly fraudulent in not giving an update. However, I will say that I’m glad I waited as long as I did, because there is literally not enough good things to say. Am I writing a review for a completed game? Absolutely not. However, I’m reviewing a game that at its current state is 100% playable and enjoyable.
I’ll begin by correcting the claims from my prior review - the economy is now stable and effective, the gameplay is devoid of all major bugs, with the minor ones being easily self correctable with no negative impact to the progression. For an assembly style game, the aesthetic feels great, the engine is not taxing on the computer, and the overall assembly process feels great with plenty of room for individual optimization and creativity.

As much as I’ve played this game, after all said and done, I just wish it had more content to keep you invested, but it is in Alpha and this is one to keep an eye on if you like this style of game as the developers release patches and content consistently. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game for the first 20 hours or so but it became extremely repetitive once you optimized certain production lines and did all the research possible.
The bones of this are good, the graphics are great, and there’s something extremely satisfying about tweaking a manufacturing line until it’s optimized, then further adding other producting lines and having certain machines do the work of both lines so you can eliminate waste (i.e, having 2 lines use the same sewer/zipper, etc.

Loveland
Detective, we have received reports of kidnapping and cult activity centered around a small trailer park on the outskirts of Loveland, Ohio. The members of this cult are lead by Pastor Abram, a recently denounced minister for the Heartland Church of Christ. Pastor Abram has experienced a sudden change in his demeanor, exhibited by his increasingly radical sermons in which he proclaims that frogs will save God’s children from extinction.
We believe that this may be the actions of an anomalous creature.
Take on the role of an Agency Detective, as you explore a rural trailer park in Loveland, Ohio, and uncover the secrets of a frog-worshipping cult.
Every decision has a consequence. It’s up to you how this story will end.
Loveland is inspired by cult classics such as Deus Ex & the X-Files. By blending immersive simulations with the psychological thrills of beings beyond our understanding, Loveland delivers an engrossing experience that will have you playing through the story multiple times.
Psychological Horror
Dive deep into the depravity of a religious mind, corrupted, as you uncover the horrific fate of the many members of the Loveland Cove Cult.
Non-Linear Gameplay
You are open to investigate the Loveland Cove Trailer Park in whatever way you see fit. Whether you do the bare minimum, or leave no stone unturned, the choice is up to you.
Multiple Endings
Do not expect your actions to go without consequence. There are multiple outcomes to how this story can go.
Immersive Aesthetic
Engulf yourself in the sights and sounds of a warm summer night in rural Ohio as you traverse through the eerily quite trailer park known as Loveland Cove.
Spirits of Xanadu
Immersive storytelling meets sci-fi horror adventure in this space-based tale which sends you to the far reaches of the known universe to a deserted starship full of mysteries. Inspired by the likes of System Shock, Deus Ex and Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, this is Spirits of Xanadu.
Set in an alternate 1980s, at the farthest edge of the explored universe, the research ship Xanadu lies in orbit of an unknown planet. With communications down and no word from the crew in several months, a lone operative is sent in to revive the dead ship and bring her back to Earth.

This might just be one of my favorite games.
Now don’t be fooled, this isn’t a shooter, at least not really. It has shooting in it, yes, but that’s not the focus and there are a limited number of enemies which will never respawn. The map is also fairly small but very easy to navigate once you’ve been through once or twice (and get the lights on) I’d say this is far more of a puzzle game with an incredible atmosphere. The majority of the gameplay revolves around puzzle solving while occasionally shooting robots. The puzles for the most part aren’t all that difficult, with the exception of one which leads you to one of the three endings. The minimalist style might be a bit offputting depending on your sensibilites but I personaly thought it looked pretty nice. (again, after I got the lights on, Before then it COULD be a bit difficult to figure out what you’re doing or where you’re going)

Prey
9.5/10 – One of the best games I’ve played in the past decade. Easily in my top 10 games of all time.
A modern-day Bioshock… on crack!
⚠️⚠️This review does 𝗡𝗢𝗧 contain any spoilers but other reviews might. The game is story-centric with key plot points and twists which some turd-burgers like to spoil⚠️⚠️
I played Prey (2017) just after it released and really didn’t know what to expect, I read that it had some cool weapons and crafting mechanics so I gave it a try and… Oh My Goodness… it’s incredible! I have now completed 5 full playthroughs and even created some mods for the game as well as helping others create or improve mods. It is genuinely one of the most immersive, jaw-dropping, captivating games I have ever played, I adore it, and it regularly goes on sale for under £$€5 which is the bargain of the century.

They are weak, bothersome, without brains. You will be better. Scan and slam, until it is done.
Too Long; Didn’t Read: Prey is an immersive, slow paced, adventure game that not only creates tension through its horror-inspired enemies and its dark hallways, but also thanks to its morbid technologies and concepts.
It rewards exploration and attention to detail, and the world itself is probably one of the best and most realised in gaming. Its puzzlelike approach to combat may alienate some, but understanding it comes as part of the well-balanced progression.
