Bandit Simulator

Bandit Simulator

Explore the open, medieval world and become the elusive king of robberies - unless you prefer to remain an ordinary pickpocket who drinks his sorrows in a nearby tavern and steals the townspeople’s purses. Plan every robbery carefully - otherwise, you will end up behind bars, and escape from there is no longer so easy. Don’t get caught up in the act, watch the residents - and you will become a master thief.

Key Features:

  • An open, medieval world

  • Interactions with residents

  • Quests and tasks

  • System of fighting and sneaking around

  • Improving skills

  • Quick and slow steal

  • And… of course a lot of others!

You decide what your adventure will be!

Bet on dynamic gameplay by stealing gold candlesticks and plates or robbing caravans passing through the forest.

However, some robberies will require a very carefully thought-out strategy.

Complete tasks and improve your skills, and buy better equipment with the gold.

Become part of a city legend.

please note that this current review is an edit to my original review, it will be quite long but its worth putting out there.

firstly when i first got this game i hated it, i wont lie about that because honesty is the best policy or at least thats what i have been raised to believe. anyways i left a rather hateful and scummy review saying that this game wasnt worth it even if it was literally given to me and looking back i realize i was a bit harsh in my words and judgement. i would like to thank Jake for contacting me and letting me know about the changes made to the game. there was a lot to look at and even with the time i accumulated (its not much but its enough for this purpose) i can now see that many changes were made for the better. there are alot of pros with this game that now allow me to change my negative review to a positive one, however there are still issues i would like to address with the game following the reasons i now find this game worth it.

Unknightly is a very solid stealth game so far. The team has been steadily adding features based on player requests and there’s plenty of fun to be had even in the first few available chapters. Peaking around corners and lurking in shadows just feels great in VR.

The enemies behave appropriately in different situations with guards becoming slightly suspicious if they only catch a glimpse of you or moving in if you’re fully visible and making too much noise. Other guards will also start hunting you if they’re near an alerted friend so you have to think quickly to limit the consequences of an ill-conceived approach. The variety of postures and communications from the guards combined with the clear visibility and noise meters support an observant and cautious play style.

I really enjoyed this one. I wish it had a sandbox type scenario without the time constraint.

Want to play more but don’t really want to repeat the main campaign.

Theme park meets jousting!

It’s a good little sim game. There’s more complexity to the it that I thought it would have when I bought it - but it’s actually been quite fun for the last couple of days I’ve been dipping in and out. Well worth a punt.

Pros

  • Good feel to it, familiar tycoon game mechanics, building, hiring staff and all that jazz.

  • It looks nice, good art style and cute characters.

  • Music is pretty good.

  • It’s got some nice humour - you can see little thought bubbles from time to time with funny stuff people are thinking & the story is humor driven

[tl:dr] below my mumbling

Hello trying to keep it short. If you want a fully fledged hunting game this is not it. This game is at the start of its journey. Why would you want this game? If you want to hunt in VR and you re not afraid of the low entry price into this game get it and support the devs.

You have two different animals to hunt which are European Hare and Red Deer. But the animals differ in size and there are already rare fur types. Three different weapons to use of which there are two variants for two of them. And you have one huge map. So you see compared to some other games that is not much. But remember this game is at its start. And the devs will add to the game and will listen to suggestions. So if you want to try to influence the development, join the discord!

If you’ve played The Hunter CotW, you’ll probably enjoy this one as well, at least for a few hours. That’s about where the content ended for me so I’m eagerly waiting for more updates. The main reason I bought the game is to support the developers since it looks really promising.

Even in its current early access state this game has been fun to play, for me at least. It is quite rough around the edges, but the main appeal of hunting is there: walking around until you find a track or see a deer, getting closer, taking the shot, and hoping you don’t have to track too far for the trophy.

I’ve had some wholesome times in this game with friends. Roleplay, survival, and building are some of my favorite things in a game! This is beautifully crafted and I can’t wait to see the updates come through 3
