Newly released Oculus version contains more content and English subtitles. Steam version has not received an update since June of last year. The Oculus version is not available in my region, (UK). Until either the Steam version is updated, or the Quest version is released in UK, I will leave a negative review to express my dissatisfaction.

Pixie Farm VR is a pixie raising simulation VR game where you raise only pixies in a world that seems to have dragons and phoenixes!
●Training
You can train your pixie by choosing your favorite training each month.
The ability to improve varies depending on the map and training, and the failure rate also changes depending on your motivation.
It’s up to you whether you want to be a weak pixie or a strong pixie, aim to be the strongest pixie breeder!
●Events
Events will occur in between training sessions, and your pixie’s abilities may change.
There are also times when a suspicious doctor appears who recommends a surgery that seems to be almost unsuccessful……?
●Training
You can also send pixies to training to learn techniques.
Sometimes a stray pixie will show up and challenge you to a battle!
●Competitions
You can also send the pixies you’ve raised to tournaments for them to fight in.
If you win a particular tournament, your rank will increase, and as your rank rises, you can challenge for higher tournaments and raise stronger pixies.
●Soul
Unfortunately, pixies have a life span and must be separated at some point.
There is no such thing as a freezer in this world, but the soul of a deceased pixie will remain forever.
And there are rumors that those souls will help raise the next generation of pixies……?

Courage for a Kiss
I’ve been given a pre-release copy of this game by the developer (I’ve experienced his previous two VNs, Jake’s Love Story and Nekokoro in similar circumstances) and I have to say, its definitely their best work yet. Like the previous ones, it’s a very simple high school romance story, spiced up by a few unusual gimmicks, but at its core very tame and by-the-numbers. What definitely improved, however, is the execution – the pacing of the story is very consistent and it doesn’t feel rushed despite frequent time skips. The heroines are likeable, even if their routes are too similar to each other and the setting feels alive thanks to the author’s usual attention to detail – many details you learn along the way and minor desitions you make gets referenced later down the line. The aforementioned gimmick, this time taking the form of a school play that evolves according to your choices – it’s very fun to observe both subtle and very-not-subtle differences in how it plays out for each path you take.

A nice little VN. Contains a couple of gimmicks, such as the play, which admittedly does change depending on your choices, but it’s not that interesting IMO.
The other gimmick is the trademark telltale popup stating someone will remember that. It doesn’t really do anything, since you can tell what 80% of choices will lead to without it.
It has plenty of typos, but they won’t bother you unless you’re a grammar nazi. Characters in the game are nice and flushed out in their own routes. There’s plenty of jokes, some good some not so good, but none of them terrible. The writing overall is pretty good with some cheesy lines here and there.

Demonic Blade
I thought it will be a regular story, but it was so much better than expected. The gameplay is negligible -from what i’ve seen, the decisions doesn’t affect the ending in this one-, and it limits to tell the story and branch just some dialogue by the choices you make. Not a revolutionary storytelling, but the characters were memorable for the duration of the game, and for the price, it was a good shot for me.
Recommended for anyone who is curious about it, and who wants a small and self-contained story. Not a game changer, but a good one, at least for any sensible soul.

Although this game is early access I would highly encourage everyone to give Every Day’s Different a read. Every Day’s Different has a very unique art style that makes it stand out from other visual novels. Not only that but the music is pretty catchy. After clearing episode one, I already feel attached to the characters and feel committed to the story. The CGs are nicely done with a lot of detail. The voice acting definitely stand out, giving each character even more life and depth. I would recommend this game to anyone trying to get into visual novels or those who have already read many.
