Airport Simulator 2014

Airport Simulator 2014

Not worth it. Airport sims are the rare breed, but even with this, there are some more, with so much more content on board.

For one, this game wasn’t working out of the box. I had to do tweaking to start it, which is unbearable in the case of the game made not so long ago.

Next, it is not really a full airport sim. The procedure goes like this: some plane is boarding, and then you have to drive manually various service cars to this plane. With the speed of a snail. If you’ll manage to drive the cars to the plane on time (it’s like 2-3 minutes for a distance like half of a kilometer, for each car), you’ll get some money. When you’ll have enough money, you can buy an “upgrade” to your cars. I thought they’ll start to run smoother, run faster… no. They just finally hiring some drivers on those upgrade money, so, once you’ve upgraded all your vehicles, you can just relax and watch the work as spectacular. And… that’s the game! You can’t build anything, can’t buy anything, you just drive many cars in the hope to gather enough to not driving it anymore. Nice, isn’t it?

This is a frustratingly uneven game. It starts off painstakingly slow: An aircraft comes in and you, apparently being the only person at the airport with a driver’s license, have to drive various vehicles to and from the plane: a passenger bus, a rolling staircase, a fuel truck, two types of cleaning trucks, a luggage trolley, etc. It’s very tedious, but eventually multiple planes start arriving and you have to juggle various tasks among them. The plane at gate 5 is fueling now, the plane at gate 6 wants fuel next. A plane that just landed is waiting for a parking spot and you’re trying to push back a plane at gate 3 to make room for it. At this point the game isn’t exactly fun, but it’s at least involving. Get those tasks done to get the planes off the ground!

When a Single Player game provides you with the best multiplayer experience you’ve ever had.

Played 3/4 hours on my own and found out about some endings and other great things about this game, then I decided to have 4 friends over so we could complete the game together. At first I let them play until they had discovered what I already knew while I sat quietly and watched them complete 5 endings before trying to press the Red button more than twice (They exploded in laughter when they did it hahaha). Then when they had already discovered all I knew, it was time to get serious, I took out the notes I already had on the things I wasn’t able to complete yet. Brainstorming took place. Random sucessful inputs were made. Mindblowing moments. Searching “Ostap Bender” on wikipedia and discovering it was actually a character. Searching numbers as date, getting Red Army related wiki. Translating numbers to words. Both meaningless. We completed the game in 5 hours. Exhausted we hailed that afternoon as one of the best things we could have chosen to do. “What a f****** great game”

PROS:

  • nice visual style

  • cool retro music

  • 24 endings plus the final one

  • the hint system

CONS:

  • a couple of tedious trial and error paths

  • no replayability after the final ending

Comment:

There are many paths and endings (25 in total) with hints all over the panel. You just have to connect them to the solution. There are even hints for some endings in previous ones. Trial and error approach is necessary here but that is the point of the game. Meanwhile cheerful retro music plays in the background and I liked most of the songs (not the screeching/alarm ones). There is a ton of clicking for a couple of endings and hitboxes are a bit dodgy sometimes (especially during the “hammer phase”). But all endings are doable. The achievements are fairly easy apart from two. The Once Again achievement has problematic triggering -

! You need to finish all 25 endings and then reset. A red light appears under the yellow ones. You can try to delete your save at this point OR just to be sure click the red light, re-do ending 25 and THEN delete the save. For the Perfectionist one you have to click EXACTLY the right amount of times, took a while until I got this one due to misclicks. There is basically no replayability once you finish all of the endings, only 1 puzzle/path has variations. They could have shuffled some of the codes a bit to keep it fresh but I guess 24 endings + the final one are still plenty. Overall a really fun logic game worth checking out.

SAMOLIOTIK

SAMOLIOTIK

Easy to play, easy to get a hang of.

Explaination:

In this game, you are a plane shooting and dodging planes, bugs, and other wierd things. Random power-up items drop and they do different things. For example, one can make you shoot three bullets at a time instead of 1, or another power up can speed you up.

The bosses are pretty easy to defeat, since you dont really need to “kill it”, you just shoot it a few times and it will fly away (at least what I’ve seen so far).

The controls are easy, you just move your mouse to move your plane and mouse1 to shoot.

SAMOLITOLOK… SIMILOTIKOK… SALITOLILOL… SUKALO… whatever the hell this thing is called, is a plane fly-y, shoot-y, weave-y, meme-y game that’s out for you to play on your computer machine contraption right now. Use the mouse to control a silhouetted plane as it flies upwards, while trying your best to either shoot or avoid various other silhouetted shapes moving downwards. Hit a certain amount to reach a boss, shoot it, move on to a different “stage”/background colour with different shapes coming at you, and don’t crash into anything or you’ll reset to the start. Do this over a small handful of stages, unlock all the achievements, have the game automatically shut down on you, move on with your life.

Great game but has a really short (also a good one) story if you skip most part of the secondary activities.

I really enjoyed the graphics and travelling around San Francisco while having some very good memories from San Fierro’s times of GTA San Andreas.

Adam’s Venture: Origins

Adam’s Venture: Origins

“Adam’s Venture” is a 3D adventure, stealth and puzzle game in the tradition of Tomb Raider. Just without monsters. But with a companion who could be the “Tomb Raider”. Just without guns. But a sharp tongue. ;-)

So far I had fun playing it, but you should be aware that it’s a strictly linear game. Sometimes it feels like there’s more to explore… but there isn’t. All dead ends, just one single way to go, one single thing to do. Environment can be pretty large at times and is overall beautifully crafted and textured. Character movement animations are a bit stiff, buuuuuut it’s OK.

Real player with 17.7 hrs in game

Adam Venture Origins is simply a 2016 next-gen reimagining of the previous trilogy. Essentially it’s the same franchise we have already probably played with only a few differences here and there.

Changed…

  • Lizard no longer does river dance in the sky.

  • More plants and flowers everywhere.

  • Snake monster now sparkles too.

  • Puzzles have been made easier so that those asleep at the keyboard can solve.

  • Adam Venture has lost weight. His MC Hammer pants have been thrown out.

Other than that it’s essentially the same trilogy with a few differences in some of the previous endings.

illuminati Simulator VR is a Free to play indie VR game where you explore the map and figure out what to do. It worked on my HTC Vive system, looked bad, played bad, sounded bad. Not a good game! I think the game actually has horrible coding, was running in the background for four hours after i ran it and then exited it. Avast active defense didn’t like it either. The VR movement was terrible. Has crappy 3D models. Objects floating in air.

Do NOT download this game, not worth it.

Is it as bad as people say it is? Unfortunately, yes. The majority of this game is not great at all, and that’s with me playing the whole thing after the updates and going in with the mindset that people were probably just hating on it and that I’d like it.

This game is split into four parts. Prologue, Acts I-III, and the Epilogue. Part by part, here’s how I felt. (No spoilers)

Prologue- Actually decent. It has issues like certain things being too loud or too quiet, but I never had a tough time or got lost, at least not for very long at all.

Dear potential buyer,

Good job for scrolling down to the reviews rather than trusting the developers.

First of all, the trailer doesn’t show actual gameplay footage, it was made in sfm and it’s supposed to show how would the game play out.

If they actually cared to finish it

On launch day, the game was unplayable, full of missing textures, no cutscenes at all and with a massive list of gamebreaking bugs (varying from losing your weapons in between the loading zones, randomly teleporting and sometimes invisible enemies to just straight up crasing for no reason).

The ending of the campaign before we had to defend the dank memes from those who threaten our dankened culture. This game has inspired the raw emotions in me that were devoid just 30 minutes before. This game is an art. What man requires the companionship of a woman when this game is there for your embrace. I teared in practically every fight scene, and the fight with Pewdiepie filled my eyes with tears of sorrow for the act which I had committed. Whyen Doge revealed his imprisonment inside of DAT BOI I called those closest to me and declared that I would most likely “Pull a Jeffrey Epstein” They teared but when I gifted them this game I lost them in my life as well for this game changed their lives for the better and afterwards they embarked on spiritual Quickscope Doge journeys amongst the Nepalese Himalayas and the volcanoes of Japan.

Steam won’t let me make a guide so ill just recommend the game.

I have more hours in this game that i do in cyberpunk and i can honestly say this is the better game, if you want to 100% it you will have to play the arena mode and every round you win will get you one achievement (just ad one Illuminati minion and quick scope it 100 times) press q to spin your gun as you shoot and press X to become the superior left handed dogo.
