Crypto Mining Simulator

Crypto Mining Simulator

Can’t really recommend this game. Seems to be pretty poorly constructed. I’ll try to point out some of the design flaws.

Game crashed and dupped the rig I was working on. I broke the game and I wasn’t even trying

UI is pretty confusing. You can’t tell what is buttons and what isn’t.

Inconsistent UI, i.e. you can sell Eth from the escape menu but have to go into the market to sell BTC.

Outside of the tutorial, which is short, there’s really nothing to do but let money accrue. Might as well be an idle game.

Before I slam this game for all the problems it has, I will say I’d be willing to revisit this after they fix the issues and make some enhancements moving forward.

Pros -

1. Fairly easy to move forward with mining and building

2. Allows one to redesign there room

3. Offers a sandbox environment.

Cons - (there are a lot!)

1. Customer builds never seem to work, After accepting a task, building to spec, placing in customer pickup area …nothing happens.

2. Sometimes buying a rack comes completely assembled

Great game if you used to enjoy making marble tracks as a kid, there’s a good amount of variety in the part types and the physics are fun to watch, it’s fairly simple but allows for a lot of creativity with what you can do and the kinds of tracks you can make

(you can even disable parts snapping to a grid if you want to be really precise)

It also throws in the idle game mechanics for gradual progression, even while you aren’t actually playing, letting you unlock access to more interesting parts and higher numbers of parts over time, which is cool if you are into idle games or only play a little bit at a time

Cool little game to tool around with and make fun courses for the marbles to run. Not much to say on it, just don’t expect anything super enthralling; this is just a cozy little casual ball game.

Science!

This is a game for people who enjoy patiently solving puzzles. Completing all the game objectives is not the end game, it’s where the game starts. Once you know how everything works, you spend time trying to develop genetic recipes for plants, herbivores, and carnivores. You can conduct experiments inside the contained forcefields. You tweak the balance until it stays stable. You observe how random mutations either help or hurt the design.

I spent an entire day developing my “stepping stone” plant recipe. Over the next few hours the plants mutated into taller “fat candles” that were better able to stand up to the stresses of wild fires and getting munched on by herbivores. This weekend I’ve assigned it as a science project for my homeschooled kid. I haven’t figured out how to get the herbivores and carnivores into a stable balance yet. I have lots of experiements left to run!

this game is interesting enough in its mechanics, to me, to give it a thumbs up, although seeing the general opinion and commentary on this game i see there are just as many reasons to give it a thumbs down, a neutral vote would be amazing here.

all in all this is a fairly simple looking game, but not very optimized for what it needs to do, especially when populations start going into the thousands the game grinds down to a snailspace or worse, this is because of the many calculations going on while the game is not multithreaded, leaving it incapable of processing its own data at a fast enough rate, besides that, and if you keep populations low enough (amount depends on your pc’s cpu power) you will have a fun time for a while.

Plantera

Plantera

This is a cute, psuedo-clicker that is extremely simple compared to many of the other titles in the Clicker genre. Everything goes together very nicely. The only problem is that it’s mostly a quest to complete the achievements, and then there isn’t much to do. The garden gets maxed out. The upside is that it doesn’t require micro-transactions (I’m looking at you, Clicker Heroes, Adventure Capitalist, etc) to “complete” the game.

The idea is to build a garden with 3 layers of plants (trees in back, bushes in the middle, and vegetables in the front) to harvest, as well as animals to get “produce” from, such as wool, milk, eggs, and random stuff the pigs dig up. There are various critters that will try to interrupt the farming. Wolves and foxes will scare the animals, rabbits will steal vegetables, and birds will fly away with one produce item. Obviously this has minimal impact on the overall output, and they don’t really add much except something else to look at.

Create, expand and watch your garden grown in this super addictive and totally adorable casual clicker game.

Introduction

Plantera is a simple and highly addictive clicker game, where the basic objective is to build and expand your own garden. As your garden grows, you collect more coins which allow you to further boost your garden (and coin collecting efficiency). Boosters can be bought with the coins, which allow higher value of produce, collecting coins when the game isn’t running for larger periods (I can currently leave my game for 12 hours, and come back to a large sum of coins waiting for me!), and guard dogs and scarecrows to scare away the critters trying to steal your produce! Though I’m not generally a fan of clicker games, I have really enjoyed Plantera thus far.

I think the idea is nice, and also the game implementation is not bad (given the very low price). It sure lacks improvements in many areas and also a few basic items (I couldn’t even find a way to exit the game or go back to starting menu, there isn’t a command/key list). The main problem, even given the fair price, is that to me the game is too grindy even from the starting point; I’ve played maybe 6 or 7 games in 3 hours, and never managed to gain enough money to do anything before dying against a swarm of 3-4 tanks or a huge one that easily absorbed my shots before transforming my little machine in a pile of fuming scraps… After death you go back to the starting camp in an even shittier situation, stuck in a tiny machine with no weapons and no way to survive. I think the combat itself is good, landing a nice shot while evading enemy tanks is somewhat rewarding, but the cost of repairs, fuel and ammo easily eats most of the money gained, and the repetition of combats, deaths and having to restart from the beginning made me gave up on the game.

Scraplers, what is there to say about this title.

I think the dev team wanted to create a steam punk pirate game.

You own a landship, which have properties(guns placement and troop carrying capacity),

and you raid around to get bigger a boat and have more troop capacity.

The concept is interesting.

Sadly, at this point in the development,

there doesn’t seem to be something to do with those mechanics.

You can grind to get bigger boat but beyond that the world is bare.

System to raise relations with NPC are in place

TrainClicker Idle Evolution

TrainClicker Idle Evolution

There' something strangely soothing about watching the trains cross across the screen, chugging along the rails to it’s destination. I do wish I could lower the bird sounds so I could hear the engine and train itself more. The game runs smoothly and the music is nice.

My biggest criticism or thing I wish we had is an auto-progress option so that it can just move on to the next level if I want it to instead of manually activating the train forwards. I do like to let it run on a certain level but if I could also be allowed to let it go forward of it’s own volition that would be great.

Sending this to library. Developer was active in March and went silent. Enjoyed game play for a while though.

Is this a clicker game? Sure, auto clicker is not something is needed to progress. Click half an hour and close :)

Is it idle? Yea sure, i get a lot of money while idling with 4 trains and maxed out engineers.

Game-play is broken. Half of the skills are dead and other half are breaking economics.

Ascending? Never saw that screen :D I never had to, as i wasn’t stuck. Game just became boring to me.

Universe999999

Played with it for a little while, seems like it could be good in the future but as of current I can barely understand what is happening and I don’t think there’s enough game in this game. I think it could use more mechanics involving interacting with the universe. Looking at the game’s description it talked about the player’s power growing so maybe you unlock things such as creating your own stars or messing with civilizations? Although what it really needs are more detailed graphics to make it look less like pixels on a screen or a tutorial so you can know what those pixels are doing on the screen.
